There is a very good chance you are using movie posters as your screen saver rather than your icloud pictures, go to settings, screen saver, photos. It should be highlighted as iCloud photos.

Photos you take on your camera are in the Camera Roll and are like the film in a camera.
Photo Stream is an independent stream of photos from all devices that are logged onto the same iCloud account and that have Photo Stream turned on. Photo Stream photos are kept in the cloud for 30 days or up to 1000 photos, whichever comes first, so unless you have a particular photo you just don't want to stay out there for 30 days, you don't really need to delete Photo Stream Photos. They are temporary. Your device will continue to keep your Photo Stream photos from prior to the 30 day limit, but if you switch Photo Stream off in iCloud and then right back on, the only photos that will re-display in Photo Stream on that device are the ones that remain within the 30 Day/1000 photo parameter.
Collections is simply a single place which shows all of the photos that you have on your device. You do not need to delete photos from Collections. It is just a single place where you can see the contents of all of your albums.
Photos in albums that you have created on the device itself are tied to the photos in your Camera Roll, so if you delete them from the Camera Roll, it will tell you that it will also be deleted from an album.
Albums that you have sync'd from your computer should be removed the same way you got them there - by hooking the device up to a the computer you did the sync with, and un-selecting the album from the Photo profile screen.
So, really, there are only two places that you need to delete photos - Camera Roll and Photo Stream.

When i import photos there always ends up being 2 of them... i always select don't add duplicates. But for instance when I put a picture in it goes under to categorires
My name->Pictures->Iphoto Library->Masters->2008->Roll 92->Image name then that same picture is under this aswell

My computer is Mac book Pro and i have the most recent Iphoto

1 - that is how iPhoto works and no you can not change it
2 - you can not ever delete anuything from the iPhoto library unless you do it using iPhoto - in fact you should not be going into the iPhoto library at all - there is no reason to be there
3 - it is not taking double the space - thumbnails are very small
4 - and when you make any modifications to any photo a third version is created - the modified version - and again that is the way iPhoto works
5 - the only way to prevent this is to use a different probram that does no work this way (there are a number of very good reasons why iPhoto and other DAMs - Digital Assett Managers - work this way including keeping the digital negative, non-destructive editins, etc

It may be how much space is available on your iPad. The average movie is around 2.5 gigabytes. If you reach your space limit then you can't download anything until you clear space.

As far as I know the only people not having to pay for Mountain Lion are the ones that have purchased a apple computer after the 4th of june or something. These people get a free upgrade. All others will have to pay for a copy of Mountian Lion.
Do you maybe have a source, which states that others don't have to pay for it, where people that have bought Lion do have to pay?

Please understand I am a frustrated customer like you, , but the availability of movies that have been shown before is dependant on licencing from the rights owners. Sky quite rightly have to pay the film studios for the ability to show to Sky's customers. As I understand it they purchase the right for a period of time, hence when the right expires then it has to be removed. The costing of the movies does reflect on the anticipated popularity of the programme, hence an older less popular movie might seem expensive but if not many people watch and pay that would be right. The apparent silliness of having movies in the store and on demand, allows those people who do not have a movie subscription to rent the movie on a one off basis. I agree that Sky seem to be licencing some programmes for shorter periods and it really upsets me when movies appear in buy and keep but not available to rent only. I recently queried Sky about Fortitude being available in OnDemand until 2022!, then of course found out that Sky owns the rights of the series. I can only say be careful if you are a movies subscriber and wish to watch a movie, not to select the Sky Store version if it is available in the Movies on Demand section. I recently wanted to watch a film that I found in Sky store at a cost, and just to be sure I searched for it and found it was to be shown on Channel 4 in a few days. I don't think we'll ever understand how such decision are made as to how long they licence movies for and how the charging model works with the film studios. Logically you would think that a smallish fee to have available indefinately and to pay the studio fee based on the number of rentals would be better, but that might be difficult to administer and Sky would have to have extra server storage fees, which they outsource. Okay. Trash the stuff on the External Drive.
All Movies is not a place - it's a list. Specifically its a list of all the movies on your Mac. Never interact with anything in iPhoto via these All Movies or All Images lists.
In iPhoto select the Movies you want to move and go File -> Export. Set the Kind: to Original and export from iPhoto to this external drive.
Then once you're sure the export has gone correctly, erase them from iPhoto.

It should not take more than 4 hr. Is there any indication it is making process? i.e. When you click on it to play do you get a message like "Will be avialable in 2hr 34 min"? Is that time changing? I would cancel the download. Restart ATV and then retry. If it goes more than 4hr then there is an issue.
As another option you can always download the movie to your computer and use the iTuens menus to play it from your computer under the Computers icon.

The subtitle only appears in the begining of the movie during the scene with the russians. The issue has been fixed where the subtitles appear doubled. Just a simple redownload from the cloud is needed. Make sure you delete the copy in the itunes library before redownloading. Heres the email I got today:

Thank you for downloading the movie The Avengers. Unfortunately, the movie you received may have had issues with the subtitles. We have corrected the problem and a new copy is available to download, free of charge. To receive the new version, please re-download the title from iTunes.
Before downloading the new version, remove the current version:

3) Click the movie to select it, and press the Delete key.
4) Click Delete Movie and then click Move to Trash.

You can't get a new DVD, which is what RG said. VUDU, the download service Walmart resells, is a different subject and not what RG was referring to.
But what some other company can allow is irrelevent to the issue. From the iTunes Store, movies can be re-downloaded only in the US, and then only from those movie studios that have allowed it. This is not by Apple's choice; it's completely the choice of the movie studios.If your movie is not available under the Purchased section of your iTunes Store account, then redownloading is available only if you purchase the movie again.

If you must. You can open a new iTunes Store account in the country you are from. In iTunes scroll down and change the country flag icon to your country and registry. If you don't have a credit card from your home country you can use gift cards instead.

Why do I have to conform?

I hope someone here can shed some light on my problem. I'm putting together an assemble edit for CG short that I'm help out on. We're in the process of locking each shot down to the exact frame count - which is where my problem comes in.
The animatics that i'm being given are at 60fps encoded in Cinepak. The final delivery of the project is going to be 720p at 30fps. Whilst we edit the shots I've been putting the 60fps animatics straight into a 30fps sequence and all was going swimmingly until we came to lock down the frame count for each shot.
When I import these animatics in my Bin in Final Cut Pro (I'm using 4.5), FCP seems to think these animatics are at 59.94fps. This is obviously an issue when doing a frame count.
I have one clip that is eactly 66 frames long (I've counted them in QuickTime just to check) but when I bring them on to a sequence at 60fps in FCP, I seem to loose 2 frames as it's only 64 frames long. I tried converting the movie to 30fps and putting it into a 30fps sequence, but when I import that movie FCP seems to think it's at 30.97fps and instead of it being 33 frames long it's 31 frames long.
The only way I can get FCP to recognise the animatic at a correct frame rate is to convert it to 30fps and then use Cinema Tools to conform the frame to 30fps. Then when I import it into my FCP project, it's correctly detected as 30fps and the frames are there.
If I overlay a conformed and unconformed version of this movie in FCP the action doesn't seem to move, I just loose the frames from the end of the shot.
So the questions I have are this...
Why do I have to conform a clip to 30fps when it already is at 30fps for FCP to correctly recognise it's frame rate when QuickTime and Compressor seem to recognise the unconformed version as 30fps just fine?
If I wanted to do a 60fps version how to I conform the framerate when Cinema Tools only can conform upto 30fps?
And finally, why can't FCP just recognise the framerate of a QuickTime movie?
I'm doing this all on a PowerMac G5 Dual 2.7Ghz with 2GB or RAM running Mac OS X 10.4.6.

Thanks for your response, I know the workflow is a little unusual but so is the project.
The reason the animatics are at 60fps is that they are motion captured and that was done at 60fps as they will be later used in a video game. The CG short is essentially a movie using the game assets and as it's 720p, it's 30fps.
I would have probably gone for image sequences too, but I was working with different shots coming from multiple artists and they are using Maya on Windows which doesn't give you much choice output for the PlayBlasts (Animatics), it seem to like AVIs the best.
Being that there was multiple revisions of each shot a day, to keep the files manageable we choose to do the PlayBlasts as Cinepak AVIs.
The edit I was putting together was only ever going to be an assemble edit, so the final frame count for each shot could be determined and then the Maya scenes would be sent to a post house for rendering. The final short would be all the shots in order back to back.
Hopefully that explains the strange workflow, if you have any tips on improving it if I have to do it again - please let me know.
I guess the framerate quirks will really be one of those mysteries!
