Why do I have to pay for iPages when I already have it on my computer?
My iCloud home page shows five icons including iWork. When I click on the iWork icon I am shown a link that takes me to the iTunes store where I am asked to pay $9.99 for each of the iWork components. I already have these installed on my iMac. Why do I have to pay for them again?
Different operating systems. Your iMac runs OS X and the iWork
applications you have on your iMac are written for OS X. On your
iDevice, the operating system is iOS and you would need a version
of the apps written for that. If you are not planninig to use the apps
on your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, some iPods), you do not need to
buy them. Having the apps on your iDevices provides instant
syncing of documents across the iDevices using iCloud. iCloud
does not provide Google App-like operation if that is what you are
seeking. If this does not answer your question, perhaps someone
else will chime in.

I just bought a new Mac and migrated my CS6 over. Now when I open it, I'm told I'm running a trial version of Cloud. Why can't I use my CS6 version that I purchased? I don't want to pay for something I've already bought.

Keynote for iOS is a separate product from Keynote Mac with separate pricing reflecting the difference in their function. Keynote iOS is $19.99, and Keynote iOSis $ 9.99, iOS apps only work on iOS devices, Mac apps only work on Mac.

My Mac mini OS is a 10.6.8 and after paying for Adobe premiere 13 download I realized that my computer needs to be 10.8 or greater.. I thought that I had read that 10.6.8 was enough but I must have been mistaken.. Any suggestions or am I out of luck?

Does anybody know how to download songs without having to pay for them when you use your voucher. I have redeemed it and have £15 in my account yet everytime I go to download a song it's trying to get me to pay!!! Please help?

lack of email app- makes this may purchase virtually useless. because
cant bridge with my bb 9700. maybe twice after deleting from both, and rebridging, i got connections. i cant spend an hour bridging every time. since may this is unfixable. the support people cant fix it after dozens of hours. got lots.of emails from them though. asking if i was resolved. when i answered no, they asked me to do it all again. they have no fix for this.
can type documents, but cant email them to anybody. same with excel. no way to attach documents when the bridge doesnt work.
i am a ceo,and i am moving my entire organization off bb becuase of this.
have spent many many hours from the beginning in may, and now they want me to pay a 129 dollar fee to get support when it has not worked right from the beginning.
i bought an ipad today and i am absolutely blown away by how much better it is in every single way. dozens of bbs are going away now.
slow, no.email, locks up all the time, stand by button restarts tablet, no bridging without total reload on both devices. why would i go through this anymore? it is costing my business a fortune with myself and my people trying to make the playbook work.
we will get ipads and make more money.

when i did once get a connection through bridge, reply locked up everytime on an email. could not type.I would like to add my support to this comment.
Strike 1) Bridging a BB 9700 with a PB is flaky at best. Even if you run the very latest software on both, it does not work properly. This is NOT a user issue but a programme/application issue. RIM software running on RIM hardware and O/S and NOT being able to connect properly = RIM fault.(see my other post: My Bridge connects, it exchanges data like passwords, number of unread emails and my playbook notifies me when someone calls my BB, but it does NOT unlock)
Strike 2) All this used to work fine during the 90d grace suport period (apart from the flaky bluetooth issue that required a hard reboot of the BB whenever the connection was broken in a bad way)
Strike 3) Now, after a PB OS upgrade (which I faithfully applied), several phone upgrades (due to another problem) and the latest Bridge application install, it all doesn't work anymore, 100 days after I bought the flipping thing. so I have a fancy ebook reader, not the productivity enhancing tool I can use on the go.
So now I am stuck with a forum that can't help, a technical database that does not contain this support information and a broken RIM application on RIM Hardware and O/S that I paid a lot of money for. And now they want more to look at this incident????? I am sorry but if this was a problem caused by usage, configuration or any other user error, I could understand it. But this is all completely in RIMs ballpark. I have done everything right. It connects. It just DOES NOT WORK!!!!!
As I said in my other post, an evaluation of the PB in my company is ongoing as a possible management tool by people I know quite well, as I work in the area, but my advice would definitely be to stay away until basic functionality like emails, attachments, calendars etcetera are all suitably solved and usable by the average manager with sausage fingers and no clue about bluetooth, hard reboots and who won't be able to hold down the power, + & - buttons at the same time as the fingers won't fit!!
So RIM, get your finger out, open up an email support channel or get some qualified support people go through this forum and help those people who have shown faith in your products and who now have real problems with your software and hardware. DONT HIDE BEHIND A STUPID SUPPORT FEE - MAN UP TO YOUR PROBLEMS!!! -
Why do I have to reauthorise my computer?
I recently had my G5 repaired during which they had to install Leopard instead of Tiger, and which also involved a new HD onto which they migrated all my data and settings from the old HD.
I just tried to play a Protected track in iTunes, and got the message "You must authorise this computer to play this track". But when I go to iTunes Store I see that I'm logged in to my account there, and I can see my account credit.
Am I getting this message because my HD was changed? In which case, how do I de-authorise my old HD seeing how it's not attached any longer? (I still have it but it cannot be connected).
I don't want to go down the route of deauthorising everything, as my sister's laptop is also authorised to my account in order to play the music I bought for her before she got her own iTunes account. Is there a way I can deauthorise the old HD only?

After installing the most recent version of adobe reader, a prompt popped up, asking me to reboot my computer to complete installation. Why is it asking me to do this? Is it safe? And (if so,) how should I go about doing this??I don't know why - I never had to restart my computer after installing any Adobe updates.

There were a number of changes done and earlier I had used the "refresh" button in the DSV view, and the updates were reflected in the DSV. Now, however everything should be updates, yet when I hit refresh, the dialog still comes up and list
all the changes it did earlier as "Added". What is going on here?
Now however, all my tables, dimensions, relations etc are setup with no errors and the cube builds, processes and deploys without any errors, yet if I refresh the DSV, I still get the dialog that displays all the things that it "sees" as "Added".
This is even after closing down BIDS and re-opening.
Also, I wonder if this has something to do this this thread, since its concerning the DSV getting "confused"

According to your description, you need to know why the dialog still comes up and list all the changes it did earlier as "Added" when there is nothing changed in the data source view, right?
I have tested it on my local environment. We use the sample project AdventureWorks, we didn't make any modification on the DSV and click the Refresh button, and all the changes were list on Refresh Data Source View dialog. So as per my understanding, this
is default settings. If we click the button, it will list all the changes from the date when you create this project.

Why do I need to pay for Network Extender?
I've been exclusively a Verizon Wireless customer for over 11 years. Yearly I pay about $3,000 for my service, which I use for my business and personal use. Yet, I can't get a signal at my place of business, on the 10th floor in the middle of NYC! I get all bars in the basement of home an hour outside of the city! Plus, it's extremely embarassing when my clients complain that they can't connect and look at me for an answer why.
I understand that this can be remedied using the Verizon Network Extender, but why should I have to pay an extra $250 just to get the service I'm already paying for ? Plus, this extender uses MY internet connection, My electrcity , AND others in the area can use it too for free ? Basically, I'm extending Verizons' network at my expense.
You should supply this device at no charge to customers like myself who can't get service.Tonyfalcone, I can understand where you as well as Roy are coming from. Roy understanding a need for a workplace offered an alternative option for you, your clients and other businesses together can benefit from. The network extender we offer is much less. The network extender being an accessory isn't discounted like phones/devices but there's no contract, no monthly fees. You can set it to allow specific numbers priority access to the network extender. Alternately, speaking outside of vzw products, you can search online other signal boosters. Keep in mind, we don't have the support to help you if you needed to troubleshoot a third party product.
You mentioned you've been on our network for many years. Did you previously have service at your workplace? Can any Verizon user use their phone? If no to both, it does appear signal is being interfered or blocked. Personally, I've been on high floors in buildings and had service. Possibly they already installed a signal booster but I'm not sure.
