Why do i send mails on one of my accounts but the reply comes back to another account all in mail

when ever i send a mail from my buisness mail account and i get a reply, the message comes back to my personal account even though it doesnt show on the recipients mail. but when they click to reply it is sent back to my other account. there must be somewhere in the settings but i cant find it. can anybody shed light on this????

Have you run Connection Doctor? Click on Window in the menubar, choose Connection Doctor. If that indicates it connect to your ISP provided SMTP, and without Login, then it means that the Authentication of the SMTP should be set to None, and no Username and Password needed. Many times with cable ISPs, the SMTP is actually authenticated based upon the IP address of the modem there provide you, and attempting to use Password authentication will result in failure. Mail is different in this regard as it will not negotiate this, but requires your attention to it.
If Connection Doctor cannot connect, then more info is needed.

I have a particular newsletter I receive, usually just one from this site daily. The last few days the newsletter is coming in, but I am getting multiple mailings from this site but with it's "from, "subject" & contents are from other sites I subscribe to. They are all coming in under the name of one individual site. Hope someone understands this, hard to explain without showing and actually talking to someone. Thanks!

Difficult to judge the problem from you're description.
Hmmmm... let's shake the glass bowl > nope.
Question: any filters active in TB? If so have a closer look and deactivate some (all) and see if the problem disappears.
Second: Have a closer look at the headers of each individual message. Best be done by saving them as files and inspecting with a simple file editor.
Where are the coming from? to Whom are they sent?
Mind you the problem isn't necessarily on your (TB) side. The mailing-site could have it's database mixed up as well.

Why do we need more than one retained earnings accounts & what is the use?

Hi FI Experts,
Why do we need more than one retained earnings accounts, what is the precise use of two?
I know the retained earnings account is used to carry forward the balances during the year end to the balance sheet and there by making the p&L A/cs balances as zero.
I guess the second one is used for different valueations for example as depreciation accounts for different valuations will have different retained earnings accounts.
Kindly correct me if I am wrong and eloborate on the use having more than one retained earnings accounts.

Hi,
Well, separate retained earnings accounts are used for parallel financial reporting, it means when you need to report in accordance with, for example, local GAAP and IFRS or US GAAP at the same time. Several retained earnings accounts are necessary when the company chooses account based approach for parallel reporting. (GL accounts are broken down into several groups, for example you use different accounts for IFRS valuation, for local GAAP and they are also shared accounts common for both principles.)

It sounds like you're not able to send email from Yahoo or Gmail on your MacBook Pro.
There could be several causes of the behavior. I would start with the troubleshooting steps in the "Mail Connection Doctor shows one or more red dots in the account Status column" section of this article:

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

That usually means that the recipient is in a bad wifi or cellular data signal area.

Yes. On your phone make sure it is set to send messages from your phone number, not your apple id or other email address. That way when they reply it will go to your phone.

Next time that happens while on WiFi, turn WiFi off in settings, wait about 30 seconds or so, then turn WiFi back on. Sometimes you have to do this two or three times, but this fixes that issue as well.
