Why do my links get bigger and turn red?

Hi,
I have a website I created many years ago for my business. Along the way something weird happened to all the links. Whenever someone hovers over them with a mouse, the links turn red and get bigger. Can someone please tell me what caused this and how get fix my links so they're normal again?

Here is how to fix it, but I am not sure of the colors. First thing is to remove th <p> </p> tags from the links. Then change the following corrected lines in your 3col_leftNav.css.
#sectionLinks a {
display: block;
font-size:100%;
border-top: 1px solid #cccccc;
padding: 2px 0px 2px 10px;
#sectionLinks a:hover{
display: block;
font-size:100%;
background-color: #dddddd;
text-align: left;
color: #369;
text-decoration:none;
Notice that in both the a and a:hover, there is a font size declaration. That way they always stay the same. Also, on the color of the a:hover, it is the same as the original, only the background changes. I am not sure that is what you want. This works on my computer as I have tested it here. Hopefully it will work on yours. This will change all the sectionLinks a and sectionLinks a:hover that uses that style sheet.

What apps are you trying? TV out video only works with apps that support TV out. If the app does not support TV out you will still get aoudio via the component cable

My Adress book database gets bigger and bigger !!!

Hi,
I love using iSync with iCal and Address book. I just want to ask a question.
The more I Sync my Address book, the more it grows in kind of a cycle of sizes : 225k, 450k, 900k, 1m, 1,2m, and comes back to 225k for instance and goes globally bigger a few syncs later (250k, 500k, 800, 1m, 1,3m for instance).
It is really simple to observe when I do backup files (it does the same with iCal but in a lighter way).
It seems normal that a database gets bigger and bigger with new entries, but in this case, it seems independant (in fact the synchronization itself - even with no data's - seems to increases the size).
My question : do you know a way to blobally reduce the size of the database ?

Why does my pdf gets bigger in size once i insert data in fields(forms) ?

Hello world,
I'm stuck with a very frustrating problem. I have made a presentation in Aftereffects as a pdf and added some editable fields (forms) in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Once i start entering data in the fields and saving the pdf in Adobe Acrobat, the size of the file grows with 1,2 megabytes after each save. The file gets bigger even if a delete the inserted data and saving again. Did anybody encountered this problem? Where do I get it wrong? Do i need to save the pdf from indesign in some special way? The original file is 3.5 MB containing pictures and text and from there it gets bigger with every save.
Help on this one would be greatly apreciated.

You should perform a Save As, not just a Save. When you do a Save As, it removes any unnecessary stuff in the file.

When using my power adapter, the light is green for a two seconds and turns red.

When using the power adapter for my MacBook 2.1, the little light on the connector is green for 2 or 3 seconds and then turns red. I bought a new adapter, but it is the same thing. It looks like the computer is charging. What's wrong with it.

Nothing wrong. Here is what Macbook manual has to say:
When you first connect the power adapter to your computer, an indicator light on the
power adapter plug starts to glow. An amber light indicates that power is going to the
battery. A green light indicates that no power is going to the battery, which can mean
the battery is fully charged, is not installed, or has a problem. If you don’t see a light,
your plug probably isn’t seated correctly. Check for any debris and remove it. You can
monitor the battery level using the Battery status menu in the menu bar or by
checking the battery level indicator lights on the bottom of the battery (see page 74).

I will start up my computer and it will work for 2-15 minutes and then all of a sudden turn different colors. It will go like blue, green, red, white, and then repeat the colors. This happened to my friends compuuter and she ended up having to get a new one. uh oh...

I Have iphone 4s and it is a big peoblem for me now because its bettery drains too much fast and it becomes too much hot after some time. I am too much worried about that. I dnt knw what can i do now with that. Please help me in this matter

The battery can be too much used. There are a number of ways to help batter life from too much draining.
First, you might want to have an Apple technician run a diagnostic on the battery to see if it is either bad, or consumed. Consumed meaning the battery has lived its life. Batteries are like tires, they will run out sooner or later until it needs to be serviced.
Second, you can preserve battery life by turning your brightness down, You can turn off background app refreshes, your some location services off, turn some notifications off that you might get regularly that you don't really need, you can also change email setting to get manually rather then pushed from the email server, lastly you can turn off WiFi and Bluetooth when not around a WiFi network or a Bluetooth device.

Why can't I get Applications and free music from itune stores from Nigeria?

There are lots of my friends who are getting frustrated with their iPhones and iPads because we cannot get most of the applications, music to buy or download even though we have valid paying systems. The annoying information you get is the items are not available in Nigerian stores. What is the way out on this?
I tried registering another apple I.d using U.S.A as my country as recommended by some 'geeks' withouth success.

Why does my document get larger and larger?

I am working with PDF files that suddenly get 10 or 20 times larger and I am only making modest comments and edits. When I try to split the docs to 2mg bits these parts are themselves 17 or 18 mgs. Any advice?

Also Try Save As Other > Optimized PDF. When window opens:
First click fonts Remove all but one version of each Font / font style (example only one copy of Helvetica, Helvetica Bold, Helvetica Italic, etc)
Next click graphics. Unless it's needed to print an corporate report change all the Graphics to no more than 150dpi and Black & white 75 DPI.
Save file under a slightly different name.
As for the Fonts especially if created from a Word Document I've seen up to 6 or 8 different copies of the same font style in the same Document. This especially true from created from Word PC.

Clicking on the link for the form does nothing but take to the Password Retrieval page. After That, all it does is make me change my password. How does that "enable" my account !? THERE IS NO FORM TO FILL OUT ! WHERE IS THE FORM ! WHAT IS THIS FORM? Need better details on "EXACTLY" "IN DETAIL" what to do do and what to expect in order to enable the account again. How many times do I have to change my password? Your "click here and fill out the form" link does not take you to a form.
