First, I would recommend repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility.
If that doesn't fix the problem, there's a very dangerous command you can execute in the Terminal. This is very hazardous, because a simple typo can result in very drastic consequences. I have seen people erase their entire hard drive by putting a space in the wrong place! So, please follow the directions I'm going to give you very carefully!
Open the Terminal, which is found in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder. In the Terminal, enter the following:
sudo rm -f
Make sure to put a space after the "-f"! Then, drag the troublesome file from the Finder and drop it on the Terminal window. That should insert the path to the file in the command. Then go back to the Terminal and press return. You will be asked for your password, and when you type it, nothing will be shown as a security measure. Press return again after entering your password. The file should be deleted. -
I have 2 movies, "Sneak Peek: America The Story of Us" on my computer attempting to download. One is HD 156.9 MB, the other 62.3 MB. I have tried several things to remove them from my account but that doesn't work. What can I do to remove them?

I am having the same problem, but there is not error code associated with the message. It says: "Ink System Failure. Please turn Printer off and then on." No additional codes or instructrions.

Similar pop ups come up continuously during my time on each site.Firefox and other browsers would need access to ports 80 and 443 to work. I think you may want to enable port 80 and port 443 (when it asks) and choose '''Forever''' or at least '''Until Quit''' for a smoother experience. If you believe you downloaded Firefox from a safe site like mozilla.org and your PC is safe (like, there is no other rogue app that can hijack Firefox) then there shouldn't be cause for concern to give it '''Forever''' exception on ports 80 and 443.

This may happen if Firefox was updated, because the old signature or hash stored by the security application for Firefox would change. This may also mean that the previous version of Firefox already had unhindered access. -

Failure of the Short Disk Self Test would indicate that your Hard Drive is failing and will need to be replaced.

Since installing 10.7.3 my downloads say that I do not have enough space on my computer for the download. These downloads are never more that 200 megs or so and I have 270 gigs left on my hard drive. Somehow the remaining space on my hard drive is not being correctly read. What can I do to fix this? I have run permissions repair several times, but to no avail.
Th downloads do not finish. I am dowloading to a file on my desktop called MUSIC, but it first starts to download to my desktop and then I move it to the MUSIC file also on my desktop and I have been doing this without incident using 10.7.2 as well as 10.7.1 and 10.7.
