Why does my iphone say it has never been backed up
my iphone says it has never been backed up, or last back incomplete or back up failed, yet my icloud will say it has been backed up. why is this happening?
Did you ever get an answer to this? My phone started saying this over six months ago..it says it has never been backed up and icloud doesn't have enough storage. I don't even have ANY music and only about 100 pictures. I sync it to my computer all the time and when I do it says it's completely up to date.

ok guys i have done my fair share of reading and i am so lost. on my box it says i have a 16 gig iphone 4 verizon white. my question is everytime i plug my phone in it pops up with a little tiny AutoRun icon and i hit open files. well it shows that i have 13.4gb of 26.2gb. but in iTunes it only shows my phone with 13.4 with 12 available for apps and music. why is it that my phone realy has 26 gigs and i can only access half of that?

However computers see and calculate storage based on binary definitions where 1 GB = 1,073 742,824 bytes. Thus a 16 GB "decimal" device is only 14.9 real, binary gigabytes.
Also, there are additional loses due to formatting overhead and the iOS. RAM memory is separate and not used from the supplied flash disk. -

why does my iphone say device not supported when connecting to my mac pro, even though it has already succesfuly paired? I also use a wirless bluetooth keyboard and mouse on the computer successfully.
Also when I turn Bluetooth on on the phone the devices cog never stops turning (forever serching for a device)iTunes automatically syncs voice memos to your iTunes library when you connect iPhone to your computer.
It couldn't be much easier than that as you don't actually have to do anything more than normal.
This lets you listen to voice memos on your computer and provides a backup if you delete them from iPhone.
Voice memos are synced to the Voice Memos playlist. iTunes creates the playlist if it doesn’t exist. When you sync voice memos to iTunes, they remain in the Voice Memos application until you delete them. If you delete a voice memo on iPhone, it isn’t deleted from the Voice Memos playlist in iTunes. However, if you delete a voice memo from iTunes, it is deleted from iPhone the next time you sync with iTunes.
USB syncing is far faster than Bluetooth. -

Why does my iPhone say it doesnt have any more storage?
My phone had about 250-300MB of free space. Then, I synched it with my computer. It said I had to delete some stuff because it didnt have enough room to synch. So I deleted about 1GB of apps, and as part of the synch, I updated 2 apps that were around 50MB combined. Keep in mind these are basically replacing apps that were already on the phone. Now, it still says I dont have enough room to put them on my phone, and iTunes is telling me I am 314MB over capacity. If it all fit on there before, and I only put 50MB on there but I took 1GB off, how is this possible? I have an iPhone 5 and the latest version of iTunes.

I have a 5 and got the message that the "software update is not available at this time. Try again later". Everyone is jamming the server trying to update at the same time. I'll try later this evening. Scary about the problem people are having after the update. They are saying their phones need to be re-activated. My IPhone is my only phone. Good luck everyone!

First: I get the message telling me that "iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later."
Second: In the Summary Tab under Backups, iTunes is telling me that my iPhone has never been backed up to my computer - which is not true. It's also telling me that my iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud. Again, not true. Although my backups are all missing from iTunes, I can see what I think is them in their folder: C:\Users\*your user name here*\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync.
Third: iTunes is SLOOOOOOOOW. It takes nearly ten minutes - sometimes more - to launch, and when it does, it's constantly not responding. It seems every time I touch something it stops responding.
Fourth: I've been searching this "help" forum for a solution, and I've seen many other references, yet the only suggestion I've seen from someone from Apple is a reference to a solution that is over 2 years old - and DOESN'T WORK for anyone I can see who's tried it!
I've tried everything I could think of, and that others have suggested, including:
Uninstalling and re-installing iTunes
Ensuring I have the latest version of iTunes
Re-setting sync history
Renaming my Backup folder at the path above, and letting iTunes create a new one
Running around the house whilst pulling my hair and yelling obscenities
None helped. At all.
Hmmm... Been a devoted Apple/iOS guy for years, but maybe it's time to switch to Android?I've resolved the issue with iTunes constantly not responding. It's a bit embarrassing. I had a DVD in the drive that was corrupt, and once I was able to remove it - BAM - iTunes ran perfectly.
I'm still getting the Sync Services message, and my backups are still not showing in iTunes.

hi, i just tried backing up my iphone on icloud but th option to 'Back Up Now" doesnt work. when i tap on it, nothing happens. Im worried because my iPhone has never been backed up before. Please help
Reset the phone then try it again: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

I have recently been experiencing problems with my iPhone and iCloud backup. My iPhone tells me I have not backed it up to iCloud in over 4 weeks, when in actually it was 2 days ago. So I plug my phone into my laptop and click - 'Back up to iCloud'. It runs and when complete, it tells me 'Your iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud.' Even I after I have just completed the function.
Can someone help shed light on what the problem is?To backup to iCloud, you actually backup on your phone, not your computer. To backup to iCloud, you MUST be connected to wifi. While on wifi, go to Settings> iCloud (sign into iCloud if you haven't yet)> Sorage & Backup> Backup Now. You get 5GB of complimentary iCloud storage. For most people, that's enough. iCloud backup stores app data (game progress, login, etc), contacts, calendars, notes, and photos. The apps themselves and your music can be retrieved in the iTunes and app stores for free again by going to the purchased area.
