Why does my Photoshop CC keep losing my actions? The program isn't crashing, but occasionally when I open it or Lightroom, all of my actions and presets that I've loaded are gone.

This is getting so damn frustrating. I hate having to continually load actions into Photoshop CC and presets into Lightroom 5.

I would like the answer to this also. It deleted about 2/3 of mine. I cleared the workspace and started a new one. I fixed my actions back in the order I wanted and uploaded it to CC. Then they disappeared again. Whats going on and how can I fix it?

Does it happen anywhere that you use FaceTime or only in your home WiFi network? If it happens with your home network, have you tried power cycling your router? Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
Turn WiFi off and on in the settings. Reset the network settings.

Sometimes resetting these "fixes" odd problems - and it cannot hurt.
To make a device a favorite, go to system preferences>bluetooth. Highlight the device. If detailed information is not shown, click oin the little gear>show more info. Then click on the gear again and make the device a favorite.

I really hope that somebody can help me with regards to this freezing issue that I'm experiencing, I have been using Photoshop CS5 for nearly 12 months and it's been great, having said that I'm in the process of designing some banners for my website but when I open up a file, the program crashes and displays a dialog box, saying "Photoshop has stopped working" or "Adobe Photoshop CS5 has encountered a problem and needs to close, We are sorry for the inconvenience.".
What exactly do I have to do to resolve this issue?

You need to provide the crash details from your system's Event Viewer.

Why does my iPhoto library keep losing thumbnails?

I own an external Hard Drive containing my photographs and in the past 2 weeks, my iPhoto thinks it's a good idea to lose all of my thumbnails for my photographs.
When it tries to rebuild itself, nothing happens and remains the same and when I do it myself it's the same thing with no result. Had to create a new library but lost all of my photographs and when I redirected to my original library all photo's appeared!
Thought it was my hard drive but it seems to be working fine as my music library is on there too and seems to be working fine?
Is this an issue synonymous with iPhoto and has anyone experienced this. As a freelance photographer, this is rather annoying!

The Format is Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Just to let you know, my iPhoto Library did the same thing again where all thumbnails were missing. When I select an album to view, the pictures appears as cut outs similar to when first importing.
To resolve this I had to select another Library I had setup then re-select my original library where all of my photographs appeared.
Really not liking this system as I'm worried it may cost me money in losing the work of my clients. Appreciate your words of wisdom and advice; one and all.

Why does my iPhone 4 keep losing sound?

About an hour ago my iPhone4 stopped making sounds--no key clicks, no alerts, iTunes music won't play, camera doesn't work. Anyone got any ideas? This is my 2nd iPhone4 in about 2 months. Same thing happened with previous iPhone.

To further elaborate on my issue, I was playing solitaire on my phone during a commercial break on Hulu--suddenly there were no clicks as the cards were turned and cards also responded slowly to the tap. I've not had any water damage and I carry the phone in an Otterbox Defender case. When I open music for playback, the player interface opens, I tap the play button, it highlights, goes to pause button instantly, then back to play button. Does the same for videos in TED talks app, videos I've shot with the phone, videos loaded from my iTunes library.
I guess it's back to the Apple Store--I appreciate the functionality of the device, when it works it's great but no audio, no video, no games, no alerts--it fails me as a communication device.

Why does adobe camera raw keep saving images with the incorrect white balance?

I am having an issue when I edit images. here is the scenerio:
I choose 50 Raw files and open them in Camera Raw.
I edit each individually - many of them have different white balances.
Once I have each image how I want them, I select all and click done.
Sometimes all the edits are saved correctly, but very often all the changes are saved correctly except white balance. The program seems to take the white balance from one image and applies it to all the images.
Why??? Very frustrating to have to go back and individually edit all the white balances again.

It seems to not happen if I slow down a few seconds before I click select all and then done.
That should not be the problem, once you changed settings and hitting done they all should be applied immediately. It even is not needed to first select all, that is only needed when you need to open or save the files.
But I still don't know why it would only change the white balance in every shot and not everything.
If it happens again could you first in Bridge select one of the none changed files and with right mouse click menu choose select purge cache for selection?
And can you provide more details about system version, app versions and file types?

Why does my Photoshop CS4 keep shutting down

My Photoshop will not open. It gets to initializing menus and then an error pops up saying, "Adobe Photoshop CS4 has stopped working." I know others have dealt with this but I have not been able to overcome it. Here is what I have done:
I have reinstalled the software
updated the monitor drivers
changed the color management to RGB instead of the Samsung that was there
updated my video card drivers (Nvidia Quadro FX4800)
checked for photoshop updates
updated my wacom drivers (intuos4)
deleted my preferences
updated my aja drivers (AJA LHi Xena)
Tried to run as administrator
I don't have any Microsoft Office products on this machine. I don't have a virus. I pretty much ONLY have Adobe products on it other than Itunes and McAfee. I have added the AJA I/O and Cineform Prospect HD.
PLEASE HELP I am tired of messing with it.

McAfee is not blocking it as I have tried it with that completely off

Why does my Magic Mouse keep losing connection?

I've had my Magic Mouse for about 6 months now. I use it with my MacBook Pro RD. It works fine most of the time but every now and then it would lose connection for anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. This happens even with newly replaced batteries so I know it's not a battery problem. I really expected better from what I thought would be a high quality mouse from Apple.
I am thinking of sending it back to be repaired or something, but when I entered its serial number to check the warranty status, I get the error "We're sorry, but this serial number is not valid. Please check your information and try again." In fact, the serial number printed on my mouse's battery compartment has 17 characters but the support page here only allows you to enter a 14-character serial number! What is going on?

I was having the same problem and found another thread with the solution. Basically the problem is some batteries do not fit tightly in the compartment and jiggle around causing the mouse to lose power and therefore the connection. The solution is either buy the apple rechareable batteries or wedge a piece of paper in between the batteries and the compartment lid (I used a bit on an index card fold over on itself). Once I did that = no more lost connection every 10 minutes.

Why does my iPod app keep starting over from the beginning??

I have noticed lately that my iPod app seems to start over and play ALL songs on my phone from the beginning nearly every time I plug my phone into my car stereo.
I plug my phone into my car stereo and listen every day on my work commute. As such, it's very important that the music stay on the same position between the times when I'm in my car. For the most part it's been fine, even on 4.0.1, unless I rebooted the phone or did a spring board respring, or otherwise killed the iPod app from the multitask app list.
However this past week, it's been starting over from the beginning (I was playing songs from a playlist and it starts over from the beginning of ALL songs) nearly every single time I connect it to my car stereo. I have not been listening to the music between times in the car, nor have I even opened the iPod app or killed the process from the multitask bar.
This is absolutely maddening. No changes have been made to the phone in the past couple of months, other than a few App Store app updates here and there. This just started really being a problem in the past week. What could be causing this?

Dont have that problem but i have two tips:
1 Other ipod/iphone apps: they are often the problem, i had an alarm clock and that blocked the whole ipod app, so check if other apps dont use songs to wake up or anything else..
2 try to leave the ipod app trough the multitasking instead of pressing the home button?

HT201177 Why does my iMac display keep shutting off. The rest of the computer keeps running and I have to unplug it for a while to get it to come back up.

My 27" iMac's display goes to sleep after a few min, and you can still hear it running in the back ground. I can't hold the button on the back to shut it off. I have to unplug it for a while to get it to restart.

Well, at less than one year old it is under warranty (and hopefully you have Apple care too).
You should take it to your Apple Store and have it examined within the guarantee period.
The problem, may not be that serious, but that is what a warranty is for. It is also why you should take out the insurance of Apple Care.

Why does my iPhone 5S keep freezing on either the buttons or screen?

Ever since I bought my new iPhone 5S (on Vodafone) about a month ago either the screen or the buttons freeze on an almost daily basis. If I manually restart it (home button and sleep/wake) it works, but is a relative pain having to authenticate Touch-ID all the time. It is just an annoying problem, with no other side effects. I have monitored the times when it freezes and it is on no one particular app, its crashed when i am using Photos, Phone, Messages, Instagram and various Games.
If anyone knows the source of this problem and how to fix it this would be very helpful.

Try to set up the phone as new device and to rule out a software error, don't use the backup after that.
If the phone works without problems, restore from the backup. If the problems are coming back, set it up again as new, this time adding the 3rd party apps back one after the other, one of them must be causing the freezes.
