I've been having the same issues too, and thought it was just my outdated computer or account?!
Every time I try to purchase a song, "session has timed out" shows up after I click "agree" to the terms!? I seem to be in the exact same scenario as 'SportsBarn' above: Itunes support have replied repeatedly with the same "solutions" but nothing has helped or even been applicable. I have an older laptop, 2005 Powerbook running OS X 10.4 Tiger so it's not compatible with the latest iTunes 10.5.2 which requires minimum OS X 10.5. I've been using the balance already in my iTunes account (from redeemed giftcards over the past few years) with no problem, until recently (my last successful purchase was October 2011). I wonder if it's the older OS or just a redemption glitch even with newer computers?

Why am i not able to post anywhere?

I have a general question about blocking access to programs, and the relevant discussion boards have no "Post new topic" button anywhere. I've searched every page and I even see posts from other users, yet I can't find a button anywhere that it is supposed to be.
I even tried going to the Tips board. I found a "new topic" button that I clicked on, and it tells me that I can't post there and asks me to login. When I try to, it says "error" and redirects me to some "helpful" links that don't help me at all.
Am I missing something?

You're probably on a Category page, and not a Forum page.
And submitting User Tips is only accessible to Level 2 members and above, so you are not able to post in that Forum.

Why am I only able to post a comment on Facebook only after I click on the "reload current page button"?

This problem just started a couple of days ago. I had no problems before doing these simple tasks before. It is quite annoying to me that I have to continually click on the "reload current page" button each and every time I want to post a comment on Facebook. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

I notice you turned off the setting that diverts new windows to a new tab. Since the new window will open in front of your current tab, it may appear that the current tab was closed, when in fact it is behind the new window. This hard to explain in words.
Do you want to switch the setting?
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Tabs
Check the box for "Open new windows in a new tab instead"

Not able to post vendor payment in case of Cash discount received

We are on SAP ECC 6.0
I'm not able to post an outgoing payment through F-53 T code when cash discount is received from vendor due to early payment before due date.
I get the following error message -
Tax code V0 for country IN has been deleted or incorrectly changed
Message no. FS201
Our tax calculation procedure is TAXINN and we are an indian company in India.
GL account for cash discount received is already defined in OBXU t code for SKE transaction key tax code wise.
V0 tax code is defined through FTXP.
I'm able to display correct cash discount amount and cash discount % when i click on select process open item in F-53 after entering document date; posting date; company code; currency; Bank GL A/c; Amount (Net of discount); value date and Vendor Account.
What am i missing? Why am i not able to post vendor outgoing payment?
Is it possible to post cash discount received to the credit of Stock / Inventory Account as quantity received is not consumed or quantity is lying in inventory?

Still, i am not able to post outgoing payment when cash discount is received as i am paying it before due date.
Cannot i take credit of cash discount received to Inventory / Stock Account?
Is cash discount received always posted to non-Inventory / non-stock GL Account?

MB1C - Sloc 0001, Mov type 561 (not able to post the goods)

When I post inventory for ROH material
using movement type 561 (Tcode:MB1C) with
SLOC 0001, the system errors outs with the following message
"Material XXXX doesnot exist in warehouse 001"
Iam not maintaining warehouse management for ROH materials.
But I am able to post for the same material with Sloc 0002
Its the issue with sloc 0001
System posts the following Message:
Material XXXX does not exist in warehouse 001
    Message no. L9023
Diagnosis
    All the materials that you use within a warehouse number must also be
    defined for this warehouse number. The material you are using is not
    defined.
Procedure
    If you want to use the material within your warehouse number, you must
    create the material in the material segment for that warehouse number.
Is there any workaround, where I need not maintain WHSE management view for ROH
materials but still able to post the goods with Sloc 0001

In order to fullfill the requirement, maintained the same whse number(HMM) that is
being maintained for sloc 0002 {for which I was able to post (Mvt type 561, Tcode MB1C)}
In MB1C Mtype 561 posted with sloc 0001, Now the system posts
"Material XXXX doesnot exist in warehouse HMM" (previously it gave "Material XXXX doesnot exist in warehouse 001")
It does not give the message for Sloc 0002
Any way in this process, I learned some new things

Why am I longer able to view video tutorials

I have PSE9. When I first got the software I was able to view video tutorials. It seems that since PSE10 came out I am not longer able to view them. Once the tutorial loads in, the screen for viewing remains black. What is the solution to be able to view again these video tutorials?

Nothing has changed since I purchased PSE9. My browser is Firefox.The only
thing that I can think of is that PSE10 came out and now I can no longer
view the tutorial videos I used to be able to watch.
I am worried that if I try to uninstall PSE9 that I will not be able to
reinstall it. I have the disk for the program but I worry about the
re-registration. I bought this on Amazon just prior to the release of PSE10. It was
selling at a very discounted price, that is why I bought it. Everything

Backposting is disallowed still we are able to post in previous period

Dear All,
We have disallowed backposting for one company code (MMRV)& it is also disallowed in OMSY transaction for that company code.Still we are able to post MR21 document in previous period.
Can you please let me know why this is happening & how we can prevent this from happening.

clearly explains that MR21 is not possible :
Transaction MMRV closes the previous period for general goods movements, invoices, and so on. The following postings are still possible in the previous period after you close the previous period.
Goods movements for the physical inventory
Closing entry for actual costing in the material ledger
For the following operations, you can set whether postings in the previous periods are possible even after the previous periods have been closed:
Price changes (after you implement Note 1238496)
How did you check that this note is note in your system?
it comes with a support package.
use SE38 and display the source of RCKM_MR21F01
search with CTRL+F for the value 1238496
if you find it, then the note is certainly in your system.

Am I still able to access the quick Facebook posting option with ios7?

I just updated my phone to ios7. Before with the ios6.1.3 I was able to swipe down to the notification menu and access a quick way to post on facebook. Am I still able to do that with ios7?

Try:
Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...now sign back in with your new ID.

Why is inventory count Doc's status still active after posting difference

Sounds like inventory management.. I found document is still active through MI02 after I am done with posting difference through MI20.
Here is what I did,
MI31 create inventory count sheet (100000207)for warehouse
M104 Enter inventory count
Mi11 recount for some items in 100000207
Mi20 post difference
Question: why 100000207 is still active since I alreay completed posting difference? Now the only option I have to deactive is to delete it, however when I am trying to do so, system give me a warning sign saying deletion will errase the evidence to posting difference. Is there any steps I missed so 10000207 is still active?

Apple TV cuts off when open Macbook. WHY IS THIS STILL AN ISSUE!!

The issue is not fixed with Apple and it's really annoying. It affects all devices. Here is what I have found so far and I'm pulling my hair out. APPLE!! why have you not had a fix for this yet? You come out with the latest and greatest devices but you can not keep what you already have running? Come on this is frustrating. Look at the number of times this question has been asked on here, heck look at the number of views its unreal at over 10,000. This is a huge issue and should be worked on ASAP. At least make us think you are trying to fix it. If there is some magical fix I have not been able to find it.
And because many people while trying to help ask the same questions to all these post I will try to answer all the typical questions now to save some time.
- Yes, I have tried it with Itunes off and it still does it so it is not an Itunes issue.
- No, I am not watching a movie from my Macbook to ATV and I shut the lid etc. Nothing is streaming from the Macbook to the TV when I have the issue.
- The ATV works perfectly fine so long as the Macbook lid stays closed or the WiFi is shut off.
- Yes, I have been able to watch ATV while the Macbook was open, Itunes both on and off, WiFi on and ATV played fine. The issue seems to be intermittent but now has gotten worse.
- It has done the same thing with two completely different routers.
- iCloud off - no change
- Homeshare off - no change
- iTunes off - no change
- I turned off Wifi while no show was playing on ATV. Turned WiFi back on then started a show on ATV while the lid was open. Show ran fine. I turned off WiFi on MB show still ran fine. I turned WiFi back on and it killed it. ATV went back to main menu. Tried to restart show without making any changes while lid open and show would not play.
- Logged out of iTunes account on ATV, tried to watch show went back to main menu, would not play.

1. ATV is running a show and roommates come home. Cuts out starts giving me issues. Have not confirmed if they are opening a mac or not but they all have iPhones.
2. Listening to podcast on ATV from my iPhone using Airplay to ATV. the broadcast will play perfectly fine until I open my macbook. At that point it cuts off completely and switches to phone output from ATV back to what it iPhone. Itunes on my Mac is turned completely off. If I turn off the WiFi connection on my MBP then the ATV Airplay on my phone works just fine. The audio will play to my ATV and will not switch back. The second I turn WiFi back on it kills the Audio and the phone goes back to normal mode. It does it right in front of my eyes. So something is causing it to switch back overriding it but it is not iTunes. Also one other thing I noticed if I try to force it by hitting the airplay button every time it try's to switch back the podcast info will flash on the ATV for a second like it is trying then it kills it and goes back to the phone.
3. ATV running a show and I open my Macbook, cuts off goes back to main screen even when itunes is off. If I close the lid and try it right away it will still go back to menu. If I try to select a program it will not play at all. Just flashes and goes back to main screen. NOW to add insult to injury I confirmed all of this then went along my menu bar at the bottom confirming everything was off and testing ATV every few until it started working. So I started turning everything back on one at a time opened and shut lid until ATV cut back to menu and nothing. Show has been running for last 5 minuets with out a hitch. I logged back in to iTunes on Apple TV tried again still works fine. Who knows when it will act up again.
This happens on Hulu Plus and HBO Go and Airplay on my phone. I really want to see this issue corrected there is no excuse for it this long after the release.

The old computer is a 2.6 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
The new one is a 2.3 GHz intel core i7
In going over this, thanks to "tallking it out" with you, I did discover the Text Edit problem. Because I've still been unable to get the new computer text size (fonts or whatever) to match the old computer, I did not notice that the curser is now different--the line midway down the curser has to be placed on the line I am working upon, otherwise the edits go elsewhere on the page. Now, with a bit of difficulty, I am able to get Text Edit to work correctly.
If you have any ideas as to why my menu bar and Text Edit type are still so slow, I'd love to have them.
(I went through the process you suggested earlier, re my Trackpad preferences, and found no improvement.)

Not Able to Post Takeover Values using AS91

Hi Guys,
I am not able to post Takeover Values as of 12/31/2007. I gave the last closed fiscal year as 2007 and the system automatically took the takeover date as 12/31/2007. When I try to enter the dtat in Takeover values, it is greyed out. Can anybody explain why it is not allowing me to change values?

Try this option -
1. Keep the cursor focussed on the field that you want to change
2. Goto Menu Edit >> Change field contents
A pop up will appear asking to change the value. Give the required value to be changed and save.

Vendor Confirmations
In procurement, it is quite normal that once a purchaser sends a Purchase Order to Vendor then he needs a response from vendor expecting some of the information as follows:
Receipt of purchase order by vendor
Acceptance of all the terms and conditions mentioned in purchase order by vendor
Expected date of delivery the goods
Expected date of goods dispatched from the vendor end
Transport confirmation and the shipping notification
And many more
So vendor confirmation is nothing but dispatching of this information to the recipient about the status of the purchase order. Once he has received this then there is a requirement of updating the respective purchase order.
This updating helps the planner to plan the materials more precisely because between the purchase order and planned delivery date, more reliable information has become available.
In Standard SAP, the term "confirmation" (short for "vendor confirmation") has been defined as an umbrella term for various types of information provided by a vendor to a customer, including order acknowledgments, loading or transport confirmations and shipping notifications.
For updating this information in PO, the consultant has to make the following setting in SPRO under the node Set up Confirmation Control:
To define confirmation categories, choose External Confirmation Categories or Internal Confirmation Categories
To define confirmation control keys, choose Confirmation Control Keys
To define the confirmation sequence, choose Confirmation Sequence
Once these settings have been done in SPRO, we have to assign the confirmation control key at item level in the purchase order under the tab page Confirmation. If we are not assigning this we may face error while creating inbound delivery on receipt of shipping notification. Apart from this, reference document for goods receipt will also be decided on these settings.
If there are more than one confirmation categories, then for all confirmation categories, consultant can also specify whether they are for information only or whether they are to constitute a basis for goods receiving and materials planning activities.
