Why I cannot update my IPad2 neither my Iphone 3GSto ISO5
I am trying to update my IPad2 to ISO5 and I get an error message. I bought my IPad in San Juan PR and right now I am in Romania. So is happening with my IPhone 3GS. Please advise. Thank you
Does not matter whether the apps are free or paid, you need to have a working credit card info linked to your Apple ID. If you do not want to put in your CC, you can buy and use iTunes gift card from most shops.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Because something is wrong. Most likely, either:
(1) your Mac OS X Startup disk is damaged and you need to repair or reinstall OS X,
- or -
(2) you are not following the correct update workflow and should use the help from this Apple article.
For instance, if you are trying to update via > Software Update..., restart Mac and download and install the Download Center version: Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.04. -

The original iPad does not have the memory and processing power to run more recent version of the iOS. 5.1.1 is the latest it can run.

Impossible to say without details. Can you post further information, including your model of iPhone, version of Windows and iTunes, and exactly what is happening when you attempt to update? Note that if you are trying to upgrade a fourth-generation iPod touch to iOS 7, you can't.

How did you buy iPhoto? Did it come preinstalled on your computer with Lion or later, or did it come with Snowleopard on system installer disks?
Which version of iPhoto?
If you have a version of iPhoto '11 and it is showing on the Purchased tab of the App Store, with your Apple ID, then delete iPhoto from the Applications folder (don't empty the Trash) and download iPhoto again from the Purchased tab.
If that does not work, contact The App Store Support from the Quick Links on the AppStore main page.
Only apple Support can fix problems with apple ID. -

I cannot update my apps on my iPhone 3. I think it's because I've discovered I have 2 Apple ID's, the original one for iTunes from 2009, and another one I used more recently. I think I must have changed my Apple ID to the more recent email, but my iPhone does not accept any password for the new ID. I have tried changing back but cannot. I have reset passowrds on both ID's 6 or 7 times, but that does not work either. I read I cannot undo an Apple ID, so I have 2, but they are mixed up. Help?
Did you purchase or download the apps with your old ID? Apps are tied to the ID that is was purchased from.
If it is a new app you bought with your new ID, you can go into settings - appstore- apple id and then log out. -
The new (09/19/13) Apple terms and conditions require one to click the AGREE button in order to update the apps; however, there is no such button to click on. Therefore I cannot update the apps on my iPhone. Any ideas?
I was having the same problem, I had to go into iTunes on my laptop and agree to the terms there, and now i can download apps on my iPhone.
