Why i need to press the push button twice to complete my action?

in my Push Button at WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger I wrote this code:
===================================
FORMS_DDL('CREATE TABLE DEMO (DEMO_ID NUMBER ENCRYPT USING ''AES256'' NO SALT NULL, DEMO_DATE DATE ENCRYPT USING ''AES256'' NO SALT NOT NULL)');
FORMS_DDL('CREATE UNIQUE INDEX DEMO_PK ON DEMO(DEMO_ID)');
FORMS_DDL('ALTER TABLE DEMO ADD (CONSTRAINT DEMO_PK PRIMARY KEY (DEMO_ID))');
FORMS_DDL('alter system set wallet open identified by "zaq1xsw2"');
INSERT INTO demo VALUES (84,SYSDATE);
COMMIT;
FORMS_DDL('ALTER SYSTEM SET WALLET CLOSE');
Message('Thanks for buying our program.');
Message('Thanks for buying our program.');
Go_item('DEPT.DEPTNO');
Replace_content_view('WINDOW1','CANVAS4');
===================================
but I need to press in it twice - two times - to execute the code above.
The Question is : why the code doesn't execute from first press ?

Here are some questions which should help us to help you if you provide detailed answers. Please also provide any other details which may help to illustrate the problem.
1. What is the complete Forms version you are using? Please provide the version number and not the marketing name. A version number looks like this: 10.1.2.3.0 or this 9.0.4.3.0
2. Are you running the form (the client) on the local machine or are you accessing it via something like Citrix, Desktop Sharing, etc?
3. Are you running Forms in a virtual machine (e.g. VMware, Virtual Box, etc)?
4. If you are using Forms 9.x or newer, what is the JRE or Oracle Jinitiator version you are using to run the form on the client?
5. If you are using Forms 9.x or newer, what is the browser and version you are using to run the form on the client?
6. Does any other function within the form cause the same odd behavior? If you have not tested, do so. For example, create a button with a WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger and code it to perform multiple tasks. Do you find that you have to click it more than once?

    Hi fremley,
    Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
    This article may be helpful with determining why your Mac Pro doesn't stay in sleep mode:
    Mac OS X: Why your Mac might not sleep or stay in sleep mode
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1776
    Some things reset the sleep timers, preventing the computer from sleeping:
    Hard drive access (even if you're not using the computer, a running application might be accessing your drive, such as when downloading a large file or listening to music in iTunes)
    Moving the mouse or using a portable Mac's trackpad, pressing a mouse button, or pressing a key on the keyboard
    Some System Preferences settings (see below)
    Open applications (see below)
    Input devices (see below)
    Expansion cards (see below)
    Additional drives, such as USB, FireWire, DVD, or CD drives (see below)

  • My iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?

    Hello Friends,
    I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
    1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
    2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
    (I'm using windows 7)
    Friends, Please help me with the above problems. It will be a great help.
    Thank You.

    Sounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.

  • Need to click the back button twice

    Hi all
    I'm having problems with a program. I have ALV grid and double clicking on a line calls a function that displays a detailed entry screen (dynpro).
    In that screen the user can use the data to call a function module to create BP from the given data.
    I now want to enable my users to go back to the ALV grid by clicking the Back button and when the function code is 'BACK' I do:
    leave to screen 0.
    But the user must press the back button twice before he can go back. If the user however just enters the detailed screen and presses the back button it works fine.
    Regards,
    Gunnar

    Hello,
    I had a similar problems few days ago. If the user must click back button twice in some cases it is because 2 screens are being created.
    What happens to me is that I had a Modul-pool, in this program I had 2 dynpros, one for input and the other to call in it the function-module REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY in order to show an ALV. When the ALV was shown the user should press back button twice in order to return to the first screen. This behaviour is because the ALV is shown in its own screen, so finally I had 3 screens instead of 2.
    What I did to solve the problem was to delete the dynpro which only purpose was to show the ALV. At last I had a dynpro for the input of the program, in the PAI of this dynpro I invoke REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY which shows the ALV in its own screen.
    I hope it will hellp you.

  • Why do I need to press the CTRL-button to view my extra options in the tool panel?

    strange!
    all of the sudden, I don't get my extra tools in the tool bar (left) when I hit the black traingle in the right bottom corner.
    It appears to be the same problem in ALL my CS4 programs.
    I thought there was a conflict with my system OS X 10.6.2.
    but after searching for days, I see that the extra options in the fly out menu become visible when I hold the CTRL-button and click on the black traingle.
    any idea what has happened here?
    karien (belgium)

    thanks michael for replying,
    but I didn't need to do that in the recent past!
    when I simply clicked on the triangle, all the other options become visible. now, when I only click, nothing becomes visible!
    now I need to click using the CTRL-button at the same time.
    what has changed here?
    I phoned my collegue. he doesn't need to use the ctrl-button either...
    what did I miss???
    greetings

  • I need to press the sleep button two times

    my iphone won't wake up until i press the sleep button two times..sometimes it will show the unlock screen for less than a second in one press and then again i have to press it once..is this a hardware problem? it is running ios 7.0.4

    Well, that is not normal behavior. You can try user troubleshooting to see if that corrects it. The user troubleshooting steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. A restart is just powering the device off/on. A reset, is holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. This will have no affect on data. A restore from backup is following this support document. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766. Then a restore as new is following this support document. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414.
    Just remember that a restore as new will wipe all data from the device. Make sure you have synced everything to the computer. If this does not correct your problem, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar at Apple to have the phone checked.

  • HT1349 i need to press the home button multiple times before it works

    I bought my daughter an ipod 4th generation (with camera) about 6 months ago. Her home button is having issues - she needs to press it 3-4 times for it to work. Any idea to fix this?

  • HT201365 How do I turn off applications to keep my battery level up?  I used to be able to press the bottom button twice and hold down an icon until it jiggled and had an x on it.  That doesn't seem to work with the new upgrade.

    With the new OS 7 I can't figure out how to shut down applications to save battery.  I used to double click the bottom button and select applications to " x" out of.  How does this work now?

    double tap the home button and swipe up on the app screenshot.
    Having apps in the multi task doesn't effect your battery life.

  • After my MBP's battery runs out, I have to press the power button twice to turn it on, is this an error?

    The grayed out start screen that often occurs after the computer's battery has completely ran out occurs twice on my comp. This screen signifies that the computer is waking up from hibernation, so to speak, and I assume of course. This disconcerts me because I would assume that there would be a single progres bar/loading screen, rather than two. If this is normal behavior, please tell me, and if not, do you have any ideas about what I could do to fix this?
    Thanks!

  • HT4211 Does any one know why my air play tv icon is missing from the recents bar.. It is now on the top of the screen when I press the home button twice. How do I get it back on the bottom recents bar

    Does anyone know why the airplay TV icon has moved from the recents bar, mine has now gone to the top of the screen. How do I get it back to the recents bar?

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

  • How do you make sure internet is switched off with the new iso7. In iso6 you pressed the centre button twice and it allowed you to close down open tabs I want to do the same....or go back to is06

    How do you close down the internet in ISO7

    You do the same thing, but now your open apps are displayed in a window view. Swipe left/right to find the app you want to stop, then swipe the app up to remove it. By the way, this doesn't turn off the internet. It only removes the app from memory that may be accessing the internet.

  • My iphone 4s will not allow me to open any apps that I have downloaded. I have tried a few things but still will not allow me to open. Shows they are open once pushing the home button twice. Please help!

    My iphone 4s will not allow me to open applcations that I have downloaded. I have tried a few things but still will not allow me to open. Shows they are open once pushing the home button twice. Please help!

    Pressing the Home button twice does not show you what apps are running. It shows you what apps were recently used.
    Download a free app from the App Store. Once it downloads, your other apps should work properly again.
