Why is Apple silently blocking my email?

A number of my emails recently were not delivered through Apple’s iCloud on my .me account.
I called their Support and after many hours on the phone, I found out that iCloud silently filters email messages that contain something that they deem "offending".  An email will appear to be sent on the sender's side, but is never delivered to anyone on the "To:" list. It is similarly blocked on the receiving end.  So, I would not know, unless I contacted the person on the “To:” list, that an email was not delivered. Apple Support would not tell me what their filter is, nor would they give me a list of messages that they have silently filtered.  I spent a great deal of time testing one of the “offending” emails, and determined that I cannot send an email to anyone that contains the following link:
http://legalcubatravel.com
Who knows what other non-offensive “offending” links or text causes them to silently block messages!
I can however send it through my Yahoo email provider.
Can someone please explain how I can find out what emails have been blocked, and what type of filter is on the account?

This is happening to me, though not because it has any offending content. 
Apple has been silently blocking share trade confirmation note emails from by stock broker e-trade for about 12 months.  Thought it was a problem on their end, but when I switched to gmail, the messages flow through just finde.
And to make matters worse, I can't enen raise a support request with apple to get this resolved.  They wan't me to spend two hrs waiting on a telephone queue to the US (from Australia) to speak to someone.   
The contract note pdf's are password protected.  If wonder if this is the trigger for blocking?
Very dissapointing an frustrating.

    Probably because it's not an Apple issue. I have Lacie EHD's connected to my MBAir and iMac, all work perfectly on Mavericks. In addition I don't have any keyboard issues on any of my Apple products. BTW IOS is only for IOS devices such as iPads, iPods and iPhones, Macs use OS X. The two OS's are seperate  products designed to run on seperate products.

    I am running 10.6.8 on a 2008 Mac Pro. I was using MS Entourage as my email program. I want to upgrade to Lion/Mtn Lion, but my old MS Entourage or other Office programs won't work on that, so I decided to start using Apple Mail (version 4.6)
    I get my email thru my ISP, Charter.net,
    When Apple Mail is OPEN it will not connect to Charter email, and Charter email will not display or recieve or send any email, nor will Entourage (POP) or a MS Outlook (trial version). Apple Mail says it "cannot connect to the IMAP server," and it "cannot connect to the SMTP server."
    I have set up Apple Mail correctly according to Charter: IMAP port 143, SMTP port 25, no SSL etc (default email reader Entourage, but I've tried Mail, Outlook, etc. …no change in my problem)
    When I quit Apple Mail, the others will immediately access/send emails.
    The problem seems to be that for some reason Apple Mail blocks Charter mail from connecting, but since that is where I get my email, Apple Mail is blocking itself, Entourage and Outlook from connecting to the IMAP/SMTP servers, therefore no mail service.
    The strange thing is that now and again Apple Mail WILL connect—briefly—and mail will come in/go out, but then drops offline again.
    I've been on the phone with Charter for a couple hours and had a service tech here this morning for an hour, but everyone is stumped. Of course none of them are very Mac-savvy, so that doesn't help.
    Can any of you help?

    I've been having exactly the same trouble with my Charter E-mail Accounts.
    I first use two of my existing Charter E-mail Accounts (which I have never used in years!). Set them up in Apple Mail (Snow Leopard 10.6.8, on my MacPro 4.1) as POP Accounts!
    They did work sometimes, but now I can only receive mail.
    Set up a new Charter E-mail Account, and used that to Set Up in Apple Mail as IMAP Account. It does NOT work at all, period, either way.
    I've been on the phone with Charter Tech Support many, many, many times, for many hours, but nobody has a clue. They tell me to check their webpage for Set Up, which I don't need because I've been through the Set-up Procedure so many times already.
    Then they tell me to call Apple Tech Support, which I cannot afford.
    So, now I'm back to using my old DreamHost E-mail Accounts, which work just fine, after their Tech Support helped me to resolve some issues. They had me open Terminal, then Keychain. I tried all three Keychain Methods, which resolved the issues with DreamHost E-mail.
    I'm going to try setting up my G-mail Account in Apple Mail and see what happens .....

    I've used the forerunner of Outlook, MS Entourage, since Jaguar OS 10.2  was the hot Mac OS and never had any issues. Now I have Entourage managing my main mail acount and Apple Mail handling a secondary account and they work fine together.

    I can relate to your old no-longer used email address issue. I just created a new AppleID, which you apparently did to post your question!!

    It sounds like people are sending you emails but they never arrive to your inbox or your Junk folder. According to the following article you may need to reach out to iCloud support directly for assistance:
    iCloud: Identifying and filtering junk mail
    Due to the complexity of accurately detecting and filtering out junk mail, on rare occasions a legitimate email from a friendly source may be blocked from reaching your Inbox. This is called a false positive.
    If you feel that a legitimate email message was inadvertently filtered, you may want to ask your friend to send a follow-up email to verify that the issue exists. If you notice that multiple email messages are being delayed, bounced, or not delivered, contact iCloud Support. Also make sure to check your Junk folder for email messages that were incorrectly marked as junk mail. To check your Junk folder at iCloud.com, choose the Mail application and click the Junk folder in the sidebar. Email messages in the Junk folder are automatically deleted after 30 days.

    Every time I restore my iPhone from iCloud Backup, this apple id SHOWS UP  and asking password. But I never had an APPLE ID with this email address and I have no idea why this is this showing to me?     Hi Ralph,
    I have received the iPhone 5s from my carrier EE UK. I never had a second hand device as all my previous iPhones received from my carrier. Every time I restore from iCloud backup, first I enter my Apple ID and Password, then it authenticates and goes through next process and updates iCloud settings, right after initial settings then it displayes enter your password where the Apple ID is the metntioned Apple ID and in the bottom it says "Skip this to go next process" or something. I have to press that everytime to skip it, then restore my backup from iCloud and then when I'm in iPhone home it asks me for the password of that mentoned email. So everytime I change the email address to my Apple ID then enter my password that activates my iCloud services and start downloading all the apps I installed.
    Its really weird to be honest and I don't know how to remove that email address from that process and seems its there.
    N.B. When I had iPhone 4s, Apple Store did replace my iPhone 4s with a new one due to the faulty WiFi.

    Why is apple not providing information on what the problem withe email is and what they are doing to fix, along with a time frame for fixing the problem.

    It was because the problem was major.  If you do not know tech, you should know that a two day outage usually indicates some type of virus, hack, or a bad software load that they had to unravel.  The common way to solve that is to rebuild servers and put back into service.  That takes time.
    Apple did not want to admit this problem.  My guess at this stange was that they loaded new software that might be associated with the new IOS and it crashed.  To reveal this would be to cast into doubt their future revenue.
    Either way.  Run do not walk away from Icloud products and services.  Apple has demonstrated they can not be a business partner.

    As to your problem, if you have forgotten the password to your Apple ID, try this web page:

    If that does not help, you will need to call Apple Support, ask to speak with Account Security, and work with them to reset your password.

    My original Apple ID was my bellsouth address. When I got iCloud, it was merged with the .me address. I can use either to log into the same iCloud, Facetime, iTunes & Apple Store, and Messages. Seems you have 2 separate Apple IDs (one for iCloud and one for iTunes).
    If you log into any app using the Apple ID such as Facetime, only the email addresses associated with it will work. You can log into the Manage Apple ID website and see what addresses are associated with that login.

    I don't know of any way to merge seperate Apple IDs. You can try changing the one you use for iTunes to the one you use for iCloud and see if it works. If not, you can change the iTunes one to a different email address. Then you can disassociated the gmail address for the iTunes Apple ID and then associated it with the iCloud Apple ID. Once it's disassociated from one account, you will then be able to add it to the other and get the verification email.

    You might have the WiFi + 3G version of the iPad.
    This means you can put a SIM card into the iPad and get the internet where you get mobile coverage.

    So you DO see the teeny " " link to the right & when "Selected" it does NOT show this?
    What, if anything DOES happen? Do you have any other email addresses entered? Alternate? Rescue?

    I would be very careful about email asking for your Apple ID and password. These are some of the Official Apple email addresses that would contact you:

    These email are not to be replied to at all and if the email you receive asks you to reply or has a link that doesn't go the Apple.com or iCloud.com domains, then they are definitely fake.

    As I said in my above reply we are fellow users, we won't know why your account is disabled.
    You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
    You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
    If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
