Why is iCal listing the same event twice?

I am totally frustrated and exhausted. I spend hours each week at the apple store and on the tech phone line and the problems just do not go away. I use iCal and addressbook/contacts a lot and the syncing is still not working.
I had a MacBook Pro, still under warranty until 8/12, got a new Air and still have syncing problems. There is something wrong and I am so upset and so frustrated.
Was at the Corte Madera store - again - 6/22 for over 4 hours!!!!! Was there 2 days before for a genius appt and that was over an hour. Was at the store a few days before that with another genius for over an hour. Its hours every week. Am there way too long. I need to work and spend all my time trying to figure out why these things are not working.
iCal has duplicate entries. iPhone contacts has duplicate entries.
Now I'm afraid to sync or put anything new in either iCal or the contacts.
All this money, and I use iCal and the contacts alot.
I sold my MacBook Pro cause someone on the 800 number said maybe that would fix my problem. Then spent $1700 for a new Air and everything is still so messed up.
This can't be me, why am I having so many problems. I want to throw this crap thru apple's window. Sure, i'm still under the 30 days with the Air, but I sold the Pro.
I spend more time talking to the 800 line and going into the store than anyone I know. And I need to work.

I've rented a movie on my iMac computer in iTunes.
When I would watch the movie on my Appel TV, I could not find the movie in my "buy Folder".
It surprised me when I buy / rent a movie in iTunes on the same account (Appel ID). So iTunes can not handle on what device I want to see my movie.
I have now paid the same movie twice what I think is unfair.

I installed this same digitizer in my T|X some weeks ago. Some discussion of my experience may be found in this Usenet posting and subsequent thread.
The stock digitizer in my T|X had always had some significant alignment issues (for which PowerDigi was able to compensate very nicely) and sensitivity which was uneven, but which usually required a heavier touch than I liked.
Eventually, it began to develop a “dead spot” near the upper left. My T|X was under warranty, so I probably ought to have sent it in to Palm to be repaired, but I wasn't willing to be without it for the required amount of time, and I've heard enough reports of other T|X owners getting unsatisfactory results this way. I'd heard enough good reports about the PDAPARTS.COm digitizer, that I decided that the only acceptable way to repair my T|X would be to install one of those.
After however many weeks it has been, I am still very pleased with the results. It continues to work flawlessly; it is much more sensitive, so it doesn't require nearly so heavy a touch, and I very much like the hard feel that it has, compared to the spongier feel of the stock digitizer.
My wife's T|X still has its stock digitizer, and it has so far not shown any of the same problems that mine did, or for which the T|X has become notorious, but the feel is noticeably inferior. She's content with it the way it is, but I think that if I were to ever buy another T|X for myself, I wouldn't wait for the stock digitizer to fail. The PDAPARTS.COM digitizer is simply superior in every imaginable way; and, in my opinion, a T|X with the PDAPARTS.COM digitizer installed is sufficiently superior to one with the stock digitizer (even if it isn't defective) to be very much worth the expense and trouble of installing it.

Are you saying, right now that the TM refuses to work even after a re-boot?

Why does iCal change the time of my events when I import my schedule? PLEASE HELP

When importing my schedule (from my school website, week by week), I had no problem in September. Now, something must be screwed up in my iCal, because the same documents are importing 3-4 hours behind my current time zone (Atlantic). Atlantic time is specified in the files, so it isn't that. This happens in the guest user as well.
I turned off time zone support (I feel as though this is what made it stop working, as the default was off and I turned it on around the time it stopped working). It still doesnt work even with time zone turned off and the time on my computer is set manually (instead of automatically detecting it). Also, I tried to find the preference file in my library>preferences, but it didn't exact... not one single com.apple.ical plist file in there!!! It seems to work fine from my iphone EXCEPT it creates 2 events for each single event (at the same time) which is rather annoying.
Anyone know/have any ideas on how to fix this??

Calling a js function twice on the same event

I am a new HTML programmer and I have a simple question...
I am using a small js script to play .wav files on my website, and I want to play multiple files in sequencial order by calling the same function twice, with a different argument both times. I am using this code:

I think i've got the separators correct, but for some reason, when I click my image, all of the .wav files are playing at the same time. could i please get some assistance? thank you very much...

HT204053 my wife and i have seperate itunes accounts is there a way we can link our accounts to share songs so we dont have to pay for the same song twice?

When the first ipad came out i set it up and created an itunes account, since then she got an iphone and an ipad and everything was good. I had an android but wanted to try out the iphone. When i set it up ut jumpled all of our contacts, apps, and everythin. it was a mess.
Since, i purchased and ipad 2 and an iphone and to keep our stuff from combing i used a different computer and created an new apple ID for myself so our info wouldnt combine, I was wondering if i did the right thing or if i should have went about it a different way. I was going to see if there was a way when she purchased a song i could get it. I dont want to pay for the same song twice and only want to share songs. If i cant do this can i copy her library and paste it into my itunes??
Any help wouldl be greatly apprecieated we both have icloud set up but i cant figure out the best solution.

Welcome to the world of digital media. Your can't really transfer it. I don't know what the rules are about transferring to your spouse but I do know that in some cases when you die, your heirs cannot inherit your digital media. This is why there is still an advantage to buying the CD since the usage rights belong to whomever holds the physical media.
A possible workaround is to burn the songs to a music CD with yout account (tracks only without song titles) and then having your wife upload it as a regular music CD onto her account. It's been a while since i've done this so I'm not sure if it would work now.
Please note that I'm not advocating copyright and/or TOS violations. I'm only suggesting ways to copy music for your own personal use which has traditonally been permitted. I only did this because I wanted to convert iTunes songs to mp3 files so I could burn them onto a data CD for use in my car. It would make sense that since married couples are a joint entity, this would be personal use.
Also, I'm not a lawyer so don't take this as legal advice.

I keep getting calls from non existing area codes and phone numbers. They are never the same number twice. How do I stop this?

About a week ago I started getting phone calls on my cell phone from numbers that do not exist, including the area codes. I can not report these to the Do Not Call list because the area code is non existent. I'm getting these calls all the time now and never from the same number twice so there's no point in blocking them. If I answer I may or may not get a person who has an accent from India so heavy that I can't understand what they are saying. This is getting to the point where I just want to cry I'm so frustrated. Anyone else having this issue or does anyone know how to stop it?

How to get rid of mutiple events showing in calenders for the same event

How do you get rid of mutiple events that show up in your calender of the same event. It doesn't matter what kind of event it is whether personel or yearly holiday it shows up mutiple times in the month view, list view. I've gone through and deleted events manually and said for all future events but this is time consuming, because you have to do it for each event. Is there a qicker way of getting this done? Also just an off note I found out that my bluetooth headsets stop ringing throught the ear piece like they did before the upgrade, any insight into this?

If I understand your question correctly...
try the following
from Sources, choose the greyed out streaming library that you want to be rid of...in your case, make sure it is the right one, since they both have the same name.
You should get a screen that says "Library Unavailable" with 2 menu choices below that, "OK" and "Disconnect from iTunes".
Choose disconnect from iTunes and the library should be gone from your Sources.

Query result shows the same data twice

I've created UDFs like Supplier Name, Supplier Address, and (Excise Details like)Supplier ECC No,
Supplier Range.
And I've created Query for Supplier Name and Supplier Address, and I assigned to FMS, Its working Correctly.
I've created Query for Supplier ECC No. the Query is,
SELECT T0.[ECCNo],T1.[CardName]
FROM CRD7 T0 INNER JOIN OCRD T1 ON T0.CardCode = T1.CardCode
WHERE T0.[ECCNo] Like '[%]'
I saved the Query, and assigned to FMS.
At this stage (i.e. Query for Supplier ECC No.) the above Query showing the same data twice.
Please suggest to rectify the problem.

You can get rid of the duplicates by changing the query to
SELECT DISTINCT T0.ECCNo,T1.CardName
FROM CRD7 T0 INNER JOIN OCRD T1 ON T0.CardCode = T1.CardCode
WHERE T0.ECCNo Like '[%]'
But it is always worth understanding why you are getting multiple records to check that you are getting back what you want. I think you may be seeing this because CRD7 can have multiple records for a business partner - maybe one for each of 'pay-to' and 'ship-to' address?

Verifying a list of same events

I am writing a test method to verify playing a list of video. Each time a video is played, player sends "playing" event out. So my code would just listen for that event from the player. In addition, player implementation is asynchronous by nature. The issue here is that if i code test method like the following, flexunit does not wait for event to occur before executing next loop iteration.

I suspect the code will need to be reworked so that an attempt to play the next video is done only after the previous attempt is verified. Below is a sample rework of the code that I believe will do what you need. The count tracks the number of videos played and the verification function starts playing another one if appropriate. NS_BINDING_ABORTED error - Resubmits the same URL twice

I have a website that has multiple tabs after successful log in. Each Tab is mapped to different URL. when I change from one Tab to other, at random, for one of the Tab URL, the NS_BINDING_ABORTED errors comes for first GET submission and behind the scenes, wihtout any further user interruption, the fire fox browser submits the same URL mapped to the tab second time. But we are not allowed to submit the same URL twice at any time. Because each time for the URL GET request, a unique GUID is appended. If the borwser re-submits the same URL with same GUID, the application throws an error message, hence user can not see the next tab on which he/she clicked.
Interesting this is that the same website works fine in any IE browser. Why this is happening only for fire fox browser?

Cannot borrow the same book twice

I recently borrowed a library book but was unable to finish reading before it expired. So, I put my name in the waiting list and am now ready to read it again. However, ADE gives me a "Document license expired" error. Does this mean I can't borrow the same book twice?
Note that I've deleted all he books from my library, so there should be no record of the previous borrowing.

What Jim Lester is saying is that there's a problem with other software that
is causing this error, and Adobe and that software manufacturer are 'working
on it'. While that doesn't really answer your question, at least you know
it's not your fault.
I'd contact your library and tell them the problem you have. Maybe they've
worked out a solution that bypasses the software 'bug'.

Using the same subreport twice

I'm trying to use the same subreport twice in the same
report, passing it different parameters that modify its query, but
I keep getting a data binding error. I'm pretty sure what's causing
it is the fact that I'm using the same subreport twice because if I
save a copy of the same subreport with a different name and include
it instead of repeating the same subreport things work fine. Any
good reason why using the same subreport twice shouldn't work, or
any solution t o this problem?

Most certainly - you add the second audio track to the second audio stream for the track (A2). You can then set your menu buttons to play the track with either version of the audio. This is generally how things are done when there is a directors commentary, or where there are different types of audio (say, Dolby 5.1 and a standard stereo track for the same footage) that the viewer can choose between.

itunes is playing the same song twice with one delayed enough that it sounds like an echo. I have deinstalled itunes and reinstalled with the same results.

I have solved the problem. i think when I moved the media file back out of public to my account, I put it back into the wrong place and ended up with a media file inside a media file, inside another media file!! So I moved it again and fixed!! Now I just need to work out why i can't share with another account user of same computor.
