Why is it that when i want to buy something and i have money from an iTunes card on my account, it says its going to debit my purchase?
the numbers turn out grey next to my apple id and i wanted to buy i song but it said my account was going to be debited when i have $25 still on my iTunes acct from an iTunes gift card!

I am pretty sure it will always use the credit card unless payment method is set to none.

When its around the holiday season the purchasing system some times gets a lil thrown off and wont recognize the gift card on the account. But its easy to get fixed.

It says in the corner of my itunes account that i still have money from my itunes card that i redeemed, but when i try to buy a song, the billing info. pops up. Why can't i use the money on my card?
It is simply asking you to verify your account info. Select None for the CC.
It will still pay with your gift card balance. -

Because you set both of them up using the same Apple ID for the iCloud account. Don't do that. You should each have your own iCloud account, even if you want to share an Apple ID for apps and music. Odds are, you are both receiving iMessages intended for the other as well.

The iTunes/Mac App Stores use credit on an account first. You are asked to supply an additional payment method when the cash credit doesn't cover the complete cost of the purchase.

puchased music in itunes. but no file can be found. Have checked for available downloads but nothing available. Went to purchase again thinking i would not be charged again, but it warns me that i will actually be buying again and may have duplicates in library after purchase. Normaly after i purchase from itunes, it is a free download any time after, and on my other devices.
Why can't itunes locate these files?It has always been very basic to maintain a backup of the important files and data on your computer.
Use that backup to put everything back. -
when i try to buy something it gives me my security questions i put them in right but saying they are worng i try to send me a email of the answers from itunes but it near shows up in my email?
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Is there a way to search for movie rentals only? I don't want to buy movies and I'm tired of clicking on a movie only to find out its for purchase only?
The best solution I've come across so far is to dump all movies into a shareware app called iVI. It'll show whether each movie has subtitles or not.

Hi, hopefully someone can help me. When I want to sample a song to see if I like it, it only stays on for 7 seconds and not the full minute like it used to. I have not changed any settings and am not sure on how to fix this. Can someone please help me out?

Why is it that when I turn on my iphone and log into my itunes it automatically adds music
I recently got the iphone 5s and when I added my itunes account information to my phone it added all the music I have ever purchased to my phone. I have tried to remove the songs directly from my phone and then I tried to plug it in to my computer and only a few of the songs showed up so I couldn't take them all off. My music is taking up way too much space on my phone.
Do the songs have an iCloud icon?
If so, the songs with an iCloud icon were purchased from the iTunes Store and have not been downloaded. You must select on the iCloud icon for a song to download it. -
