Because you set both of them up using the same Apple ID for the iCloud account. Don't do that. You should each have your own iCloud account, even if you want to share an Apple ID for apps and music. Odds are, you are both receiving iMessages intended for the other as well.

The entire point of this is that you can redownload any and all of your past purchases.

After one week of using Garageband, a exact copy of the app appeared. I deleted the copy but the also original app was deleted. When I try to downloaded from the App Store again, it appeared that the app has already been accepted but I can´t find the app

The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.

Is there a way to delete photos from Photo Stream on my macbook pro? (Not from my folders,etc.) I need to empty the photo stream. Something in my photo stream has corrupted my phone and my apple specialist suggested I do this.

My phone became corrupted today and, after continuing to have problems with 2 new phones, the apple specialists determined that the only possible explanation was the presence of a corrupted photo or video in photo stream; and that the only way to use my phone without it shutting down was to deactivate the photo stream on it. It worked, but I would like to be able to have the option of using photostream again. The apple folks suggested that I delete all photos from photo stream on my computer; and then, when it is "empty", reactivate it on my phone? Is anyone familiar with this problem?

i cannot sync my iphone music, i had used my i phone on another pc, which died. Ive managed to save the hard drive and transfer stuff across. I ended up smashing my phone and could update all other stuff on restore but cant sync any music. It is all grey at the top of the screen. Ive re installed itunes and cleared all phone data. Now when i bought a song on this computer from the apple store, i have just been sent an email that says Your Apple ID, was just used to purchase (a song ) by a computer that had not been previously associated with that apple id. I'm having a similar problem. I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order. Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too. No money was removed from my iTunes account & theses particular shows aren't in my iTunes library on my desktop. I've tried every which way to delete them from my ipad, but can't. Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings

It's because you are both using the same iTunes Library on your computer and you are both using the same Apple ID on each phone.
One of you must start a new computer user account and get a new Apple ID. Then start operating on the ocmputer from the new account. He/she will also need to restore their phone from the new account and using the new Apple ID. This way everything on each of your phones will remain separate.

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to upgrade from 3.6.28 but have been unable to do so. A pop up shows up telling me that I should and offers a line to click on to go ahead and do it. I followed all the instructions and after dragging the Firefox logo to the applications box a window pops up saying there is a version already in the applications folder and do I want to replace it. I clicked on replace and thought I was good to go. When I clicked on the Firefox logo I get the original window telling me I need to update. I clicked on the "About this Firefox and find that I'm still running 3.6.28. HOW DO I UPGRADE? I'm very concerned about losing all my bookmarks so please help!

I want to make sure you're using the auto-update system, because that's the safest most reliable way to go, and it shouldn't appear in the download manager, so I lets make sure you're doing it right. <br/>

My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

No. When you removed the photos via the finder you damage the library. Photos should always be removed from the library using iPhoto, never with the Finder.
If you have a Time Machine backup of the library from before you deleted the photos you can restore the library to the Desktop and export that album from it to import into your current library.
It's been too long to be able to try one of the file recovery applications. You sure to have overwritten those files with new files since them.

You are both signed ointo iMessage with the same APple ID. It is always best practice to use separate APple IDs for iCloud, iMessage & FaceTime.
If you choose to use the same Apple ID, check your Send & Recieve settings:
Settings > Messages > Send & Recieve > Make sure your husbands number is not checked on your phone (in both the You Can Be Reached By iMessage At and Start New Conversations From sections) and yours is not check on his phone.
