Why is my ipad doing this?
So there's an app on the Apple App Store and it is called "Fan." I've used this many times and have had no other issues with it, but when I was using it on the beach, I used the suction tube. That's when I saw a huge title wave. Thus, triggering the reaction, hurricane Sandy released its wrath on millions of harmless American citizens. Now I shall set off on an adventure to the nearest Apple store to purchase that brand new fad-angled piece of technology with the billions of dollars that I own just to get that same app and put on the suction tube on so I can suck up all of the water and throw it all into the Atlantic Ocean and be a hero! Now that I got that out, now to my real problem. How can I see how much money I have in my account?
Click on the app store or itunes and scroll to the bottom. You should see a little spot on the bottom left that says "Apple ID: XXX" with the credit balance listed.

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer. -
When I try to turn my iPhone off, it automatically restarts itself. It has never done this before; does anyone know why it might be doing this/how to stop it happening?
This had happened to me today as well. I gave constantly tried resetting it, (I don't particularly want to restore it), but earlier did you find that your headphones went funny? Mine would stop playing music, but the phone would keep going. And if I paused it, and then pressed play, No sound would come out. And if I took the headphones out while it was paused it would play on the device, but as before, not through the headphones. But, I fixed it (temporarily) by pulling the headphones out while it was playing, and plugged them back it. But normally this would pause the music, and it didn't, just continued on the phone, with no sound coming out of the speakers. And it would only last for a couple of minutes and happen again. Then I tried resetting the phone, and it wouldn't turn off. Them I fixed the turn off problem by placing on a dock, and I think this also fixed the headphone problem. But then I took it off and then on the dock, and now it won't play through the dock (but it charges) and it won't turn off, again!
Also, apples customer serivice is plainly crap. This should be easy to fix. And I shouldnt have to pay a fee to ring them up for service help. -

New to iPhone and thought Music Match sounded cool. Apple acknowledges my payment but the iPhone says I;m not subscribed. PRetty sure I'm suing the correct Apple I.D. and password. Any ideas out there?
I have done that and it is definitely on. My husband has the exact same phone and I upgraded his IOS at the same time, but this problem is not happening to his phone (we are also on the same plan, so our service should be the same). Our settings appear to be identical and my phone is showing the 3G symbol at the top, so I can't understand why it won't access the network.
I've turned it on and off twice and have reset all settings with my iTunes account, but it still isn't working.
I'm not a complete idiot with this sort of stuff - I have tried all the obvious things. -
Why is Media Manager doing this to me???

I'm trying to get a sequence from DV-PAL to ProRes 422 using media manager but for some reason clips from one tape are being letterboxed in the conversion. It's driving me nuts!
So the original sequence is DV-PAL anamorphic, all clips are DV-PAL with Anamorphic checked. Everything comes through fine except for this one tape. I've created a separate sequence with just one clip from this tape and it always adds a letterbox to it!! If I choose DV-PAL as my destination it's fine but if I choose ProRes or Uncompressed it letterboxes it. I can't see any difference at all between this tape and the others.
Please help...Have you tried nesting the sequence before exporting?

I have just buy a ipad. But I am using chrome browser, I touch around screen for into mutiltasking then it is hang, turn off screen and I cannot open it again. Please, someone can explain for me ?

The battery life for my ipod is all of the sudden becoming very short. Instead of lasting around 3 and a half to 4 hours it lasts about 1 to 2 hours. I haven't done anything different so why all of the sudden?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. Sometimes battery life just dripps off fast with a failing battery.

You can't deauthorize an iPad. You deauthorize computers. Deauthorizing your computer will do nothing for the iPad. See the following:

I cannot send an email from my iPad 2? No problem receiving, why does this happen? Have tried the suggestions for setting up email and after doing the sync mail through iTunes receiving worked great but still cannot send? Any help would be great!
The fact that you can receive means you have a valid e mail address, and have established the connection to the incoming server, so all of that works. Since the send does not work, that means your outgoing server is rejecting whatever settings you used formthe outgoing set up. Try them again.
Google your particular isp, and ipad and many times you will find the exact settings needed for your isp. Or tell us here, and soneone else may be on the same isp. Some mail services need you to change a port, or have a unique name for the outgoing server.

Your User's Guide recommends a series of troubleshooting steps to go through when your iPad is misbehaving: As you're already in effect doing the first of the main steps, a Restart of your iPad, and that's not curing it, move on to the next .. a Reset.
To do this, press and hold both the Home and the Sleep/Wake buttons for about 10-12 seconds, until the display blanks and the red Power Off slider appears. Continue holding the buttons until the slider disappears, replaced by the black screen and white Apple logo.
This shows your iPad is starting to reboot. Release the buttons and allow the process to continue until the Lock screen appears again, then slide the slider to complete the process. -
In the last 2 days my Ipad does not want to connect to the internet via my home wifi's i have not done anything different so cany understand why this is happeniong. it just wont connect. Its a good job i have my 3g connection otherwise it would be worthless. i have tried resetting my wifi connections on my pad and unplugging the modem and resetting that. nothing is working. i have read several forums about this and seems to be an issue with a lot of ipads, i have read what you can do, however i dont think i should have to reset this, reset that, change this and change that when clearly its an apple issue.
can someone provide me with any simple way of fixing this issue. or can apple spend a little bit of their millions of dollars of profit to fix this little proble.Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.
