If you aren't receiving password reset emails and your security questions don't work, someone has hijacked your account.
This happened to me.
You need to use Expresslane to contact iTunes support to regain access to your account ASAP.

I just install j2sdk1.4.1_01 on my RH 8. And it's install under the directory /usr/j2sdk1.4.1_01 Now, I was compiling the hello program under /home/JAVATEST
and it gives me the following error
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: hello
Could anyone please help me on how to solve this problem. I have try to setup CLASSPATH under .bash_profile as this:
JAVA_HOME=/usr/j2sdk1.4.1_01
export JAVA_HOME
CLASSPATH=./:$JAVA_HOME/lib
export CLASSPATH
and still. It would still give me the error. Would anybody please help me on it?? Thanks. I need to do my homework soon. ^<^ thanks

How did you improve the wiki today?

I've noticed that, while the Arch Wiki has some very good and very active editors, it doesn't have many of them and they simply cannot do much more than fix what they've already got. Other than new translations, merges, and formatting fixes, there isn't much going on and, more importantly, not much new content being added. This seems to be because the same people edit the wiki day in, day out (no offense to our regular editors) and, of course, have a limited area of subjects they are comfortable with. To encourage new users or even old ones in redoubling their efforts, I thought that this "bragging thread" might be a good idea. The idea is simple: just create a short post in reply to this stating any contributions you have made to the wiki or even contributions you are planning to make. The reasons for this are many:
It will help to encourage other people by seeing the volume of work being done.
You and others can learn from it by discussing any difficulties you have.
It is a good way of keeping track of where the general trend of work is going, and having people talk about their ideas in their own words is much more useful than manically checking and re-checking the "Recent changes" page.
Most importantly, it gives you an excuse to brag about your work.
If you are new to editing the Arch Wiki or wikis in general, here are some documents that could help you:
Help:Editing -- general Arch Wiki editing guide
Writing Article Introductions -- guide on writing article introductions
Writing Article Overviews -- guide on writing article overviews for summaries
ArchWiki Cheatsheet -- a useful cheatsheet for various formatting and style options

Even just small formatting fixes might provide information to people reading this thread about good formatting practices. There are also lots of really clever things that you won't see in any editing guides or the cheat sheet. For instance, the keypress tag: {{Keypress|Text}} .
Other examples of good things people never do include:
Adding a summary (it can be a valuable resource for someone just trying to learn about the content of the page and can contain links to useful information).
Using the AUR package tag (f.e. {{Package AUR|broken aur package}} ), which dynamically creates a link to the page for an AUR package.
The note tag (f.e. {{Note|The only useful information on this page.}} ). Using the note tag for a note is a good way of making sure that people will notice it if they are just skimming the page.
By that token, you should also use the warning tag when you have something possibly critical to say about a possible danger (f.e. {{Warning|This fix may make your desktop eat your children.}}
Another good tag is the "tip" tag (f.e. {{Tip|Something copied verbatim from a technical blog.}} ).
Overusing headers. Yes, this is a good thing. Like XML and violence, if they aren't working, you aren't using enough. The table of contents is a valuable navigation tool, and adding even fairly redundant headers can be something that a reader might find useful.
These things are useful for providing valuable information to the reader who, again, might just be skimming the article. Very few people are going to have an in-depth scan of a page consisting of few headers or anything breaking the page up and nothing but miles of block paragraphs, simply on the off chance that it might help to solve their problem. Most people will try to use the table of contents to go directly to whatever section might help them, then will skim through looking for code blocks, tips, notes, warnings, etc., to see if that information is valuable. Once they've ascertained that, they will probably read in more depth.
Remember, it's better to over-format a page than to under-format. One of the advantages of the Arch Wiki (and wikis in general) is their easy readability -- they're good for someone who might just be skimming along looking for an easy fix or relevant information.

Has anyone encountered a problem updating or installing itunes lastest version software. I keep receiving a window installer package error and will not let me update or reinstall itunes software. If you have had this problem and solved it, could you please share this information so that I can finish updating itunes on my computer.

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START/CONTROL PANEL/Add n Remove Programs/highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR,

Okay, narrow is narrow. Just need to make sure we're clear on the point that we're discussing the top and bottom margins.
I just found another post that led me to "Defining Layout Margins" in the Pages help files. Between that post and the information in this help message (specifically item #4), I was able to deduce that Pages does enable me to do exactly what I need.
1 - set the page margins on page one;
2 - create a layout break at the bottom of page 1, which will effect the next page;
3 - with the cursor on page 2, open the inspector;
4 - go to the layout inspector;
5 - change the "before" margin.
In the layout inspector dialog box, "before" = "top" and "after" = "bottom", not as in paragraph or line formatting. I don't know why it couldn't just say top and bottom. That would eliminate a lot of confusion.
This has enabled me to have one top margin on the first page and a different top margin on all other pages. However, as nothing is perfect, this process must be repeated on each page. A little more work but definitely worth the effort, if you need this type of formatting. Better than not at all in other words.

That is poor type layout.
European languages read left to right, a ragged left edge is the worst possible layout for listed data.
The only circumstance you should use the left/right alignment is in header/footers for running heads and page numbers wheer they are widely separated and therefore easy to scan as individual short snipetts of text.

The iPad uses wifi first if available. If not aailable, it switches to cellular. Turn Off wifi.

Bob, how did you change the icon of your Windows drive?

CandyBar only shows my Macintosh HD in the volumes window.
I am afraid to drag it into CandyBar's volumes window as this might unmount it and cause all sorts of issues.

Click the icon (of the Winodws drive) and click '+I', do the same with the icon you would like to replace it with. Click the little icon [that is there when you click '+I' (its really small in the top left corner) on the icon you are going to use to make it for the Windows drive] until there is a blue highlight around it. Once it is, click '+c', now go and switch to the Windows drive & make it highlighted, and then click '+v'. You should see the icon change to the one you replaced it with.
This doesn't make very much sense but I hope it helps =)

How do you install the OS on a new hard-drive?

I have a Thinkpad T400 and I just received a new HDD today. I would like to reinstall windows and I have created 3 DVD's with the Create Product Recovery Media software. However, when the first disk loads up it asks me to insert the OS reinstall disk. It seems that none of the 3 DVD's I burned can be used for this. Am I doing something wrong? How can I install the OS that my Thinkpad came with onto this new HDD that I just purchased?
