Why is the font typeface menu in a different language?

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Same in Keynote and Numbers but only with certain types of font. Helvetica font formatting options (bold, italic, etc) are all in Arabic, whereas Georgia seems to be in Russian! Any suggestions welcome.

I have some difficulties to understand why engineering is required to correct misspelled words or to correct a grammatical error.
It seems that US engineers are supposed to know the French spelling rules better than French engineers.

Why is the font of text fields different from document-text

I am using forms in my pdf.
I am inserting Text-Fields in the pdf-form.
I set the color and size of text as the same as the document text as calibri 9.
1) Why is the font different between the text-field and document content eventhough both are black font of size 9 and of type calibri. The font in the text-field is more gray and blurry. It doesnt look the same as the text in the rest of the document.
2) why do the document-text font options differ from the text-field font options.
One has only sizes with even numbers like 8, 10, 12. The other has odd numbers also. Why does the calibri font have 2 different size ranges for the text-fields and document-text/content.

Yes you are correct, it is with the setting of the properties.
Where do i report this then if it is not with the SDK but the manual setting of properties.
Also, how do i alter this ussue with the SDK, what are the commands, does it have to be done only by Javascript?

Change the font typeface of text object in form Master Page

        I am creating a Adobe Livecycle form with multi-language support. Simply, there is a header title that is a text object in master page. I want that it can be converted to simplified Chinese from English and change its font typeface to “SimSun” when printing begins. I try the following code on its “Initize” event to do this.
Simply, I configure a print flag(Y/N) in form so that it will convert into simplified Chinese and change the font typeface to ‘SimSun’ when the flag is reset to ‘Y’.

        3. Which event, function or any else let the master page’s object to be reset?

Why is the "Workarea Wizard" menu disabled?

My have installed the SCM and created Repository successfully, but why is the "Workarea Wizard" menu disabled in my RON?

I believe Workareas are exclusive to a Versioned repository. You will have to enable versioning. Use the RAU menu /Option/Enable Version Support/
Just note once you have initiated a the versioning option you can not go back to an unversioned world.

Logic Pro X - why is the sends context menu so hard to bring up on existing bus

Why is the sends context menu in the mixer window so hard to bring up on a bus that has already been assigned, e.g when you want to change or remove it? If I want to remove a bus send from a channel or change the bus number, I should be able to click on the bus and select the option. But it seems to only come up some times, not consistently.

Thanks for the reply.
I think you ave sorted my problem with your question. I thought that as my iTunes account was on their server (Cloud) and I had previously added CDs which showed up, that all my music was "on the cloud". I used to use Match but when I turned it off lost all my music that I had previously loaded onto my computer.
So I guess I have to use the cloud again to access my songs. This is frustrating as I fly a lot and can not use the music (Cloud based) when the phone is in flight mode as there is no internet.
So how then do I retrieve all my music to my iMac and have my laptop synced so they are the same?
I am totally confused now.

I have updated some softward on my IPhone 5 and now it is asking me to log into me network.   I am putting the correct password in, but it is not letting me access.   The screen is also very different, giving me the option to log in in different languages

Once uploaded, my indesign document has a different typeface. Why is the font replaced?

We have a standard branding font that we are required to use throughout all of our marketing collateral. The cloud has replaced it with Times when it's saved. Thanks for your help!

We do not have access to your customer fonts. The fonts we support for image previews of InDesign files is documented here http://www.adobe.com/type/browser/fontinstall/cs6installedfonts.html.
One solution is to convert the InDesign document to a PDF and upload. The PDF will retain the custom font. And the image preview will display as you expect.

Why are the fonts in the fillable fields changing in reader?

Hello, I created a fillable pdf in acrobat. When I open the pdf in reader on my iPad the fonts in the fillable fields change. It is throwing off the fields and things don't line up correctly. I can't figure out how to correct the problem or why it's happening in the first place. Also, the fields behave differently in preview on my Mac. The fonts are correct but the placement is off. Any help would be awesome! Thanks.

Solved it! I went back into acrobat and locked the appearance of all my text fields. Everything now appears as it should in reader. Still have no idea why I needed to do that?

Why is the font Garamond Premier Pro bought through Adobe different than the website?

I really liked the font from Adobe, Garamond Premier Pro and I purchased it, hoping to get great documents but unfortunately, it does not look crisp even if I put the size at 14, put it in bold... It looks completely different than the demo and I don't know why it looks the way it does.
I've attached a Word document which represent the way it looks. Hopefully you will see what I mean.

Why are the fonts displayed larger in Mountain Lion?

Hi,
I have upgrade a 4 year old (ish) iMac from Snow Lepoard to Mountain Lion, and all my documents now seem to be display the fonts larger post upgrade then they did before the upgrade.
For example I have a spread sheet with an Arial 10 font, the font actully is displaying as something that looks closer to 14 point font.
Any ideas how I get to display the fonts at a normal level?
Oh and whats up with the brightness? I have it set to zero for the display to be usable :s

I dont think it is, thats the first thing I checked. The Resolution is set at, best for builtin display, Ihave tried sitting to the highest setting and to the one below that just to make sure it was actually picking the best resoloution, I might try that again, and load the offending documents and see what happens.
On the other hand the menu, and applications seem to render correctly, the only place I am currenlly sure I am seeing this is at shut down, and with open office.
I will check for an update to open office.
Currently repairing permissions to see if that helps.

Mail menu -> Preferences lets you control how messages are viewed.
You can also View menu -> Customize toolbar on the window you can't read to add icons with the Aa lettering. This adjusts the font size on your view.
Note: font size in e-mail does not always transfer when you send messages from one e-mail software to another.

Why is the font grey?

I recently had my iPod serviced, and had the "motherboard" replaced. All songs were deleted off my iPod. I opened up itunes today to put songs back on it, all went well, excpet when I click on my iPod in iTunes the font is grey and the songs won't play! I'm confused.It's the same iPod as before. Do I need to authorize my computer again? Please help..

Grey text when you look at the content and lock symbol at the bottom of the screen simply shows that your iPod is set to "automatically update songs and playlists". . If you want to access your iPod directly, play it through your iTunes, connect it to a second computer etc. you just need to change the update method to "Manually manage songs and Playlists" in the iPod preferences. For more detail see this tutorial: Managing Your Songs Manually
One thing to be aware of with manually updating is that the iPod also has to be manually ejected before the "Do Not Disconnect" message will go away. Safely disconnect iPod

The iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences menu in iTunes (Edit=>Preferences=>'iPod' tab):
1) Automatically update all songs and playlists. This is the default mode, in which your entire music library, including playlists, is automatically synced to your iPod. If the music library on your computer exceeds the iPod storage capacity, you are prompted to select a different update method.
2) Automatically update selected playlists only. With this option, iTunes automatically copies the playlists you have selected to the iPod when you connect it to the computer.
