Why is the X out minimize and expand buttons in garageband 11 look like snow leopard... not like the lion... ones?
Why is this happening???? Only This Ilife application is like this I reinstalled my ilife 11 and everything is up to date???
These buttons look the same as the buttons in my up-to-date Safari browser on Lion. What are you seeing that's different?

So my firefox has been running well but when i updated my computer, it stopped working. when i double click the icon, it opens a blank transparent window with only the maximize, minimize and close buttons. you cannot even tell its firefox. it does not display any error messages and installing again does not work.

please also do an in-depth scan of your system with the security software already in place and/or a different tool like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & keep firefox and your plugins up-to-date in order to stay safe on the web.

why is itunes downloading the latest software twice and leaving my ipod in recovery mode? what happend to the first download?
Does the iPod work fine now?

Firefox loads to a blank page, not my home page. When I click on the home button it takes me to the home page. The back, forward, refresh and stop buttons are greyed out and not usable. The webpage I am on does not show up in the address bar. If I type something into the address bar, that address stays there no matter what page I go to next.
Just upgraded to v4. It did NOT fix the problem.

I have quickbooks software. I am traveling. I tried to send an invoice out, using the mac email (version 5.3) I can't send the mail out. I get a pop up asking for my password, I put the password in and it does not accept it. This is the 1st time I've had this problem.

Where is the minimize and maximize buttons?
I'm using Acrobat version 8 and the standard windows XP minimize and maximize buttons are gone from the top right hand corner of the window which means I have to resize the window manually. There IS the "x" button to close the window if I wanted to but that's it. This happened once before in version 7 but then the buttons came back somehow. I'm on Windows XP and all of my other programs work fine. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.I fixed my own problem...finally. I'm using a third party add in called PDFlyer. In the options window for that program is a checkbox for "hide minimize/maximize box". That was the trick.

Recent download the CD gets stuck and repeats. I believe that this is a fault in the CD not picked up by Itunes. Downloading again may not sort this out. Who do I contact to tell this to....thanks

I typed in data into the highlighted text box, and then tried to print my form. However, when printed, the copy only showed a portion of my answer. Is there a way to expand Adobe Reader's highlighted text to show my full response, or should I make my responses only as long as the highlighted portion allows?
While printing any pdf file it will print the visible text only. To overcome this, the form needs to be dynamic so that it expands in layout while entering more data. Usually dynamic forms are developed by Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

Why don't pictures from a slideshow made in iPhoto and then burned on to a DVD in iDVD not use the full screen?
All I want to do is send my family the pictures for them to be able to see them on most dvds and use manually control.
If you want set top DVD player playback, I suggest you create a a series of slideshows IN iDVD that each contain a MAXIMUM of 99 images. Do not create the slideshow in iPhoto or iMovie.
Is there an easier way to do this, bypassing iDVD?
