Why the Safari web inspector shows it takes 16229 days to load some resources?

As chrome shows everything right, safari always show some resources take 16229.0 days to download, and the resource is actually downloaded in a few ms.
It happens to every sites(I guess) and every resources randomly.
All extension is disabled and I just reset safari, but nothing changes.

Safari also takes a long time(more than 10s) to load a page sometimes while Chrome just load it instantly. I think this happens when it shows to take 16229 days to load resources

  • Safari web inspector -- show colors as hex-value codes?

Is it possible to set the Safari web inspector so that it shows color codes as hex values (e.g., #e5e5e5) instead of rgb values (229,229,229)? I haven't found anything in the menus, but perhaps there's a variable somewhere that can be set through the command line?

  • Safari Web Inspector Syntax Colors

Does anyone out there have the syntax color palate that the Safari Web Inspector uses? I know it's neurotic but I'm wanting to setup my BBEdit code colors the same and zooming in or taking screen shots into Photoshop produces pretty sad results as do Google searches. Again, I know it's OCD but I'm a developer, right? Thanks in advance.

  • New safari web inspector terrible and unresponsive...

Has anyone else noticed how bad the new web inspector is for Safari. Before they changed it, it worked exactly like Google Chromes tools. But of course they have tried to make it more feature rich and have ruined it as a result.
Is there any way of reverting it or will Apple developers listen up? As a designer/developer I dont wish to have to do all my styling changes and testing in Chrome or set Chrome as my default browser. But something tells me I might have to Safari's tools don't improve.
First off, you can inspect an item, but when you continue to look at other items on the page or refresh the page and re-check elements the html code view either switches to DOM mode or just shows blank, therefore leaving nothing to click on and inspect.
Secondly, it doesnt remember the display settings I wish to use from a previous session. So I have to close the extra navigation inspector and then select styling from the right hand inspector window. Its driving me mad.
Maybe there is a firebug extension I can add in and use instead. Apple get a grip, this is a terrible inspector... on par with the more recent changes to Firefox's inspector.

I am using jQuery and calling my javascript using $(document).ready(). When, on the same page, I call my JS using window.onload, the errors show up like I would expect. I hope I have got something else wrong, because this would seem to discourage writing unobtrusive javascript.

  • Why does safari web browser become unresponsive?

Every once in a while the main part of the safari web browser on my iPad 2 becomes unresponsive. I can type into the address or google search area and the results will show in the window but the content seems static. Links are inactive and cannot scroll or expand/contract the page size. Any ideas on why this happens? My only solution thus far is to completely shut down the iPad and restart.

There are a myriad of reasons this can happen, including problems with content on the website you are viewing. If it seems to occur on the same sites check the site with your computer and see if it is possibly trying to download a Java applet or something similar. If there is no pattern to the websites visited you might want to Restore your iPad and see if it helps.

  • I use Outlook for my email on the Safari web browser, and about 90% of the time when I want to attach a pdf or jpg file the email message will crash.

I use Outlook for my email on the Safari web browser, and about 90% of the time when I want to attach a pdf or jpg file it fails and about 50% of the time when I want to send a standard text massage it will also fail and the email massage crashes. The only way I can get my Outlook to work is if I switch to Firefox web browser. I would rather not switch to a new web browser if I don't have to.
It seems like what ever the problem is that its related the Safari web browser, because it works fine on the Firefox web browser.
I think its some kind of plug-in failure because it giving me a LOC ERROR:
LOC ERROR: Unable to locate localized string for resource ID 5007.
How can I fix this Plug-in?
And, yes my softwer is conpletly updated…

That's an Outlook issue. You'll probably get better responses posting on the Office for Mac forums.

  • How do I install the Safari web browser on my iPad?

How do I install the Safari web browser on my iPad?

Thank you for replying to my question.  Unfortunately, after I had posted it, I realised that I hadn't made myself clear and posted a subsequent question, which was 'how do I install the menu bar for Safari?'  Someone has replied to say that.I need to upgrade to ios8, but unfortunately I only have a first generation iPad which doesn't support this.  Do you know of any other way to install the menu bar?

  • HT4437 Would I be able to use Air Play, Apple TV, and an iPad running iOS7 in order to mirror an iPad running the Safari web browser onto an HDTV?

Would I be able to use Air Play, Apple TV, and an iPad running iOS7 in order to mirror an iPad running the Safari web browser onto an HDTV?

    Yes.
Basic AirPlay: Assuming both devices are on the same network and that AirPlay is not turned off on the Apple TV, then simply tap on the screen when you are watching content you wish to stream to your Apple TV, then tap the airplay icon that appears in the control bar, choose the Apple TV from the menu that appears.
Mirroring: When displaying the content you wish to mirror on the iPad 2 (or better), iPad Mini, iPhone 4S (or better), swipe from the bottom of the screen, tap the AirPlay icon and choose your Apple TV from the list of devices (iOS 7 or better) or double tap the home button (quickly) and swipe the bottom row of apps to the right to reveal the playback controls, tap the AirPlay icon and select your Apple TV from the list of available devices (pre-iOS7)

  • Why the iPhone dose not show the witting in case if the other person have a call and I'm on witting?

Why the iPhone dose not show the witting in case if the other person have a call and I'm on witting? really I'm dissappointed with this point Why we do not have this service?

That is not a feature of the iPhone (or of any phone I've ever had so apparently it's far from universal). Apple has not said why they have no such feature.
You can request such a feature here:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback
Either the person you're calling will answer you or they won't. What difference does it make why?

  • How do I disable "this connection is untrusted" I visit the same web site mutiple times in a day visit I get this same error, these are trusted sites within my work

How do I disable "this connection is untrusted" I visit the same web site mutiple times in a day and every visit I get this same dam error, these are trusted sites within my work environment. This is getting really old, and I am thinking that I should just uninstall, which is a pity becuase I do like firefox

Okay, before you copy 'n paste canned responses, you should read the post first.
'''The date & time on my computer is correct''' I've already checked this.
'''I don't give a damn why the site is untrusted''', I probably know why in fact (behind corporate proxy server).
As for exporting a known good certificate from another browser, sure good idea, but it doesn't seem to work. I tried exporting from IE, Firefox did the import without complaint, but it still complains. At any rate, I don't care about that. '''I just want to permanent disable it for ALL SITES for ALL TIME'''. Is that too much to ask for?
Judging by the number of posts on this topic, apparently I am not the only one complaining about this.

  • Why does Safari go into limbo when I try to search for some things?

Why does Safari go into limbo when I try to search for some things? I start to enter something in the search window. I get a drop down with suggestion I choose one and it pops up in my search window but just turns a color and does nothing!
If I quit Safari and bring it back up, then enter the exact same line it's fine. This is just one of the many problems I've been
having with Safari since I installed Yosemite.
Has anyone got any suggestions or is anyone having the same problem. Is there a way to maybe force my MacBook pro to reinstall Safari or possibly all of Yosemite. I seem to be having a lot of problems and judging by the responses I've received (That would be None) I must be the only one having any problem at all withYosemite. Not sure what to do.
Any help or suggestions would be great
         Ron

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
