If you are still having problems with your iPad, it is still under AppleCare.
Bring it into an Apple Store to have it diagnosed and repaired under warranty.

when i charge my ipod it turns on to the apple sign then shuts down again wont turn on and has no battery i tried getting a new cable but it still didnt work i also tried to push the home button and power off button and still didnt work also out of warrenty
When you plug it in to iTunes does it show up under devices? Try restoring it. That's the best thing you can do if you're out of warrenty

I bought a macbook pro and apple magic mouse 6 months ago and it has worked in the past, but when I tried to use it earlier it doesn't work. The macbook seems to recognise it but when you move the mouse the curser stays put. The track pad still works though, any sugestions?

A computer USB port does not provide enough power to charge and run the iPad at the same time but it will charge it if the iPad is turned off. It will take about four times as long to charge than with the iPad charger.
The Contacts icon may be inside a folder, such as Utilities.
There is no Facetime icon. Start a Facetime link from a contact. -
I have not been able to find this problem on any forum anywhere.
After the 5.1.1 OS update my iPad quit charging or syncing. There is clearly a problem with the connector port.
I thought it was eventually going to run out of battery and that would be the end. But, if I power it down and plug in the charge cable
It boots up, but still doesn't charge. So the connector port is working a little bit. Then, I plugged in the cable and powered down the iPad over night.
In the morning it was fully charged. I have been limping along like this for a couple weeks now. I just charge it every night. But I have still lost functionality
As I can't use it in the car anymore or sync with the cable and iTunes, or if I'm running low on battery I can't just plug it in and keep using it. It only charges if I plug in the cable and then power it down.

It is iPad 1, 64 gig, 3GThe quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

i tried charging my iPad to my imac, but it won't charge. I used three USB cables, but none of them work eventhough they do charge when I plug it in the wall. my sisters iPhone charges in the iMac, but for some reason, mine won't. Nothing pops up and nothing happenes, starting to **** me off!

If you don't see the charging screen within an hour, or you see the connect to power screen, check your connector, USB cable, and power adapter. Make sure that everything is plugged in firmly, free of debris, and not damaged. You might want to try a different USB cable or power adapter.

Motherto2, I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to turn your phone on! I know how important it is to rely on a phone, especially when traveling. I'm hoping this issue has been resolved, but if you still need assistance I can provide a few steps. First try clearing your system cache.
1. Boot into recovery
o Press and hold Power, Choose "Restart" option
o When screen turns off, press and hold Volume Down and Power
2. When the white HBOOT screen appears, use the volume button to move down to “RECOVERY.”
3. Press the Power button to select “RECOVERY.”
4. When the triangle and exclamation appears, hold the Volume Up and Power button at the same time.
5. Using the volume button, scroll down to “Wipe cache partition” and select it.
6. Select "Reboot system now"
If this is still not going thru, attempt an alternate master reset. http://goo.gl/MSrgE
If your phone is still not booting up after these steps, the device may need to be replaced thru warranty. Let me know if you still need assistance.
