Why won't my printer (Brother HL2270DW) print out Elements bi-monthly magazine. Screen says either printed not connected (not true) or PDF not supported of shows a blank document. No problems printing on any other website.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

I have been using Safari to access a gmail account for about a year. Today, I got a message that Safari is no longer supported by gmail and I need to upgrade. But I'm using the latest version of Safari. as far as I can tell. Anyone else getting this message? Is there a solution?

Google seem to have decided in the last week or so that Safari 5.x, which is the newest Safari version available for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and 10.6 (Snow Leopard) is "not supported" any more, even though there are many reasons for staying with these OS X versions.
Try this (at your own risk, but it works for me), as it seems to remove the message by tricking Gmail into thinking your Safari version is newer:
-- Quit Safari
-- Locate the following file (location depends on your OS X version):
OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/WebKit2.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Info.pl ist
OS X 10.5 Leopard and older:
/System/Library/Frameworks/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Info.plist
-- Drag the file to your Mac's desktop to make a copy. Also make a safe copy somewhere else eg your Documents folder, as if you lose or mess up the file Safari will not launch at all. Having a backup browser is also recommended.
-- Double-click it to open it in TextEdit
-- Locate the CFBundleVersion value (the last line in the file that has numbers in it) and increment the second digit of it to the required version of Safari e.g. Safari 6 now seems to be the minimum version that Google support so change the second number from 5 to 6 (don't change anything else, only the change the second number). The value is different depending on your OS X version but as an example, for Snow Leopard 6534.59.10 becomes 6634.59.10
-- Drag the file back from the desktop to its original location, choose the option to replace the old version, and enter your password when prompted.
-- Run a permissions repair in Disk Utility to set the permissions in the file back to what they should be (not required, but good practice).
-- Launch Safari and test Gmail.

If I select my user name as a storage location in Itunes, Itunes creates folders for artist name right in my user folder, instead of in my user/music folder. This gets especially annoying because if I tell Itunes to store my "media" in my user/music folder, Itunes will then create a folder named "music" in my "music" folder and will also create additional folders in my user/music folder location to store other non-music media in as well. It is very annoying to see this lack of affinity for folders between two Apple created programs.

Why won't Adobe accept my Serial No for Elements 10. I purchased it quite a while ago and never installed it until today. It is refusing to ackn owledge my Serial no as a legitiamate no. yet I have triple checked it and it is from the DVD box I purchased. Help!

There might be a possibility that you are using Windows only Serial Number on MAC.

Have been trying to get to the root cause of the problem but did not find much on this. I am trying to figure out what can get the warning to go away completely than using the Allow/Always Allow options for the plug-in

Thank you for your response. Here is the screenshot of the warning that I am talking about.
Here is what I do:
1. Launch Safari and open its Preferences. I have Safari 7.1 installed on my machine.
2. Click Security Tab and click Manage WebSite Settings
3. A window opens showing me all the Plug-ins that I have (listed on the left hand side).
4. One of them is the Adobe Reader plug-in. When I click Adobe Reader, the following details about the plug-in show up on the right
I was referring to the highlighted section that warns me about this plug-in not using the highest level of security for Safari Plug-ins.
Note: I do not see this for all my plug-ins (QuickTime, Adobe Flash Player don't give me this warning) which tells me that there is a way to make the warning go away.

- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. The cable as well as the iPod, is covered by the warranty.

I have exactly the same problem. The interesting thing is that the file opens when I attach it to an email and open it out of the email. I already saw the advice you provided in similar post from Aug last year and checked the security settings of the file and the folder. But according to that I have all rights.
My OS is Windows 7 Enterprise.

Why does Apple not support syncing Entourage Notes and Tasks with the iPhone?

I'd like to know why Apply syncing does not support notes and task syncing with the iPhone. It used to when I had a Balckberry and used a third party sync app.
I bought the iPhone (4S) thinking that syncing would be smoother and have less problems than I was having with the Blackberry and third party sync software. Are there any plans to support this?

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Image / video upload problem to any website using a flash uploader...

Hello, thanks for reading. For the last month or so ive been having major issues uploading photos and videos to websites such as facebook, istock, photobucket, youtube etc.. all of them as far as i can tell use flash to upload, but all of them error. Facebook, when uploading images uploads them, but puts grey bars or whole sections in the image, like its corrupted, and with videos, just errors every time. Istockphoto.com puts coloured bars through the images if they upload at all, and normally goes to a server time out page. Photos bucket does the same as facebook, grey sections in the images, and youtube wont upload anything, unless i use the bulk uploader.
It happens on firefox, safari and opera, and im running the most recent version of all of them.
It is like my broadband connection isnt fast enough so it times our or something, but i have a very fast connection, and ive now tried it at three different locations all with the same result.
Ive updated my flash, and im running version MAC 10,0,22,87
Im running java version 1.5.0_19 form apple (am currently downloading 1.6.0 update today) would this make a difference?!
Everything used to be fine, its so frustrating! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
