Wierd Symbol Please Help!!

I was settign up my girlfriends iPod, and was making sure the music played...and this symbol was on the screen, it was a small circle with a arrow goign around it...kinda liek repeat on a cd player..and i cant change the song unless i do it manually....how do i turn this off?

I guess if anyone is crazy about a song and wants to hear it over and over again that repeat setting is a good idea (that has happened to me a couple of times, where I wanna listen to a song again, again and again without having to find it at the end of each one).
I don't know how that setting was enabled, it's your iPod and you don't know yourself - how would anyone else know? LOL

    This can be the result of selecting the wrong driver. An older, unsupported laser printer will sometimes work with the generic Postscript driver.

    Hello Cooper,
    Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your iPhone 5.  I would be concerned too if my iPhone was not powering on.  I found an article with steps you can take when you encounter an issue like this.  I recommend following the steps below:
    Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
    Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
    Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
    Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
    After at least 30 minutes, if:
    The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
    The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
    Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
    If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
    If the display turns on, go to step 4.
    If the display remains black, go to next step.
    Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
    If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
    My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?
    Contact Apple Support.

  • "Pinch" function causes T410 behave wierd! Please help

    I am running on Win7 64bit with 4GB RAM, Nvidia 3100M with 256MB
    After updating from Lenovo "Updates Drivers", I have noticed the strange  or rather a "bug" of the UltraNav driver together with its UltralNav Utility. Here is the story:
    When I tried to "pinch" (to zoom in/out) from Firefox or IE8, the trackpad stops working immediately and then, a series of strange behavior happens: keyboard cannot be used to type address into Address bar, pressing Ctrl+T open a new Windows instead of new tab; starting MS Word will receive a message "Word detect a Ctrl key is pressed down, would you like to start Word in Safe mode????"; The attached USB mouse starts to zoom in/out if I scroll the wheel, etc...
    But the trackpoint still works!!!
    I tried to uninstall UltraNav driver and Utility, then download the latest one from Lenovo website (version 15.0.24.0 - Win7 64bit) and reinstall these, still did not help.
    So I have to disable the Pinch function.
    Anyone experience the same thing as mine? What are the solution? I tried to download the previous driver but cannot find on the website.
    Any idea???
    Thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    just quick check again, found out that only Firefox 3.6.8 is not compatible with this version of UltraNav in term of "Pinch to Zoom". The pinch works OK with IE8
    Anyone experience this problem?

  • Safari displays web pages in a wierd font, please help.

    If there in anybody that can help me I would appreciate it. I find myself often gong to websites in safari where there are parts of the page or the entire page displaying in a weird greek looking font (snapshot inclosed below). I have set my default standard font to "Arial" and my default encoding is set to Western (Mac OS Roman), however that still doesn't solve the problem. Don't know what else to do, it's driving me nuts. pleasseeeeee help!
    Thank you in advance!!!
    http://www.krossoverstudios.com/safarifontproblem.gif
    imac G4   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

    all my fonts reside in the main library (Hard
    Disk / Library) and are available to all users. I
    created a new user and the problem disappeared:
    Safari could see the same pages it used to display
    wrong, but now with everything on place and perfectly
    readable... at least it shows the fonts
    you have installed aren't the cause of the problem.
    When things are fixed because you create a new user, it shows precisely that the problem resides in the main user account, either the fonts or the .plists or the caches.
    Do you really have the same problem? Exactly like the screen shot the other poster provided? If not, send me a screenshot and I'll try to identify the problem font. For a problem like his, there can be no other cause than substitution by a rogue font from somewhere.

  • Cannot find symbol please help me

    iam trying to make a break out game and right now iam trying to set up the bricks i have two images iam using this is my code
    bricks = new ArrayList();
    for(int r = 0; r < 4; r++) {
    for (int c = 0; c < 8; c++){
    Bricks newBrick;
    if((r + c)% 2 == 0)
    newBrick = new Bricks(10 + 75 * c, 100 + 25 * r, brickImage1);
    else
    newBrick = new Bricks(10 + 75 * c, 100 + 25 * r, brickImage2);
                        bricks.add(newBrick);
    }

    judging by the conceptual understanding you now have of OOP ie: in the way you create your new class instances, I'd say you're being over-ambitious if you think you're going to be able to write a game like this.

    Unfortunately this means that there is a problem in the boot sector of your hard drive. It might be indicative of a fundamental corruption in the coding that allows your computer to boot your operating system from your hard drive. I had this problem twice and it resulted in me having to get a new hard drive and restore my data.
    In other words, your computer can't talk to your operating system so you can't access your data.
    Here is my advice: DON'T CALL APPLE TECH SUPPORT though they are kind and usually helpful it will take you an hour just to explain the situation and they will only tell you to do what I'm gonna say here.
    First: Shut down your computer completely
    Two: boot up while holding down the following keys: command, option, p, and r. The computer will reboot 3 times. This solution will likely fail so if you're frustrated skip to the next step.
    Three: Boot up while holding down the option key. Select recovery drive. Select your default language. Select disk utility, click on Macintosh HD, and select "verify and repair volume." Likely the verification will produce some line like "unused node not erased." Or something like that. If anything using the words "node structure" comes up, you need a new hard drive.
    If after verification and repairs you still can't boot I sincerely hope you have apple care because you will need a new hard drive. Set up an appointment to come in to the apple store, they will tell you to go and get data recovery, just ask them to give you the old hard drive. Unless you have an up to date backup in which case you can just restore from that. If you're lucky the only issue is with the boot sector which means that if you ask them to give you the old hard drive, you can buy an enclosure and you have effectively been given a free external hard drive. It still works to store data just not to load an operating system.
    If you have a back up drive bring it to the apple store and they'll do the whole thing right there, it should take around an hour and a half but may take longer.
    Hope this helps, it's annoying but it's your safest bet.
    All the best.

  • My computer is showing a File Folder with a ? Symbol! PLEASE HELP!!!

    My computer froze while I was doing homework so I tried to restart it and when I did, It doesn't show the apple logo but rather a File Folder with a ? Symbol! I tried reselecting the hard drive but it didn't show! I looked up how to fix this and tried it all and non of it helped me:/ I CANNOT lose my information on my harddrive cause I have very IMPORTANT work on there! I have mac OS X Lion! Reinstalling Lion Without Erasing the Drive
    Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
    When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
    Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
    Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.
    Five ways to eject a stuck CD or DVD from the optical drive
    Ejecting the stuck disc can usually be done in one of the following ways:
    1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the left mouse button until the disc ejects.
    2. Press the Eject button on your keyboard.
    3. Click on the Eject button in the menubar.
    4. Press COMMAND-E.
    5. If none of the above work try this: Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder. At the prompt enter or paste the following:
         /usr/bin/drutil eject
    If this fails then try this:
    Boot the computer into Single-user Mode. At the prompt enter the same command as used above. To restart the computer enter "reboot" at the prompt without quotes.

  • 8800, battery symbol with red line through it. Won't boot. Please help!!!

    I recently bought a 8800 and when I inserted a battery, all I got was a battery symbol with a red line through it on a dim screen.  I changed batteries, tried to charge it via USB and from a wall outlet to no avail.  I tried cleaning the contacts and tried uploading t a new  OS, but it wont recognize the phone being connected when it actually is.    I am at the end of my rope with this phone and can't figure out what else to do.  Is it just gone? Please help me
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage).
    If it doesn't boot--try using a wall outlet charger if you are not. If you are connected via USB to the PC, make certain that you have Desktop Manager (or the USB device drivers) installed, which you can download below.

    Try restoring the iPhone to factory settings. If you are having difficult restoring, put the iPhone into Recovery Mode and see if that then works:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
    If not, or if a restore to factory settings does not fix the problem, then your iPhone may have a hardware problem. You can only get the iPhone serviced by Apple in Canada, so you will have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know in Canada who can get the iPhone serviced and send it back to you. The only option for getting service in Pakistan would be to pay some unauthorized repair shop to attempt a repair, after which Apple will no longer provide any service even in Canada.
    Regards.

    Are you streaming or syncing you music? Sounds like you're streaming music directly from iTunes.
    There can be many different issues. First, try power-cycling you wireless router (leave router disconnected for about 1 or 2 minutes) to refresh the wireless communication betweek both devices.
    Make sure all software updates have been installed, for Apple TV and iTunes.
