Will B2B Adapter in SOA Composite receives fault when validation fails ?

Hi Guys,
Can any one clarify the following questions on B2B ?
1. Can B2B Adapter receive exception whenever validation fails on b2b console after data sent from SOA Composite? if not how can we implement fault to soa composite in case of fault in b2b console?
2. How can SOA Composite having b2b adapter configured with send operation know about fault happened in b2b console due agreement fail or validation fails or configuration fails?
3. How can we handle faults in case of inbound scenario?

Exception is handled in oracle b2b.
All the execeptions are sent to IP_IN_QUEUE( in case of AQ) and B2B_IN_QUEUE( in case of JMS) with the consumer as "b2berror".
You can configure your B2B adapter to pull out the exception messages in your soa composite.

  • Will B2B Adapter receive operation with default triggers the SOA Composite

    Hi,
Can any one provide me answers to this questions?
*1. Will B2B Adapter receive operation having default protocol will trigger SOA Composite? if so how can we achieve it?*
*2. will Listening channel with JMS protocol do EDI------XML translation? if so what are the configuration that need to be done?*
*3. Will B2B Adapter receive operation listens messages from other protocols like File ,FTP ? if so what need to be done ?*

    1. Will B2B Adapter receive operation having default protocol will trigger SOA Composite? if so how can we achieve it?Yes, it can trigger SOA composite. First deploy the inbound B2B agreement with no channels selected under Host TP channels dropdown and then deploy your SOA composite which is referring to the deployed doc-def. Run an inbound test and you should be good to go.
    2. will Listening channel with JMS protocol do EDI------XML translation? if so what are the configuration that need to be done?Yes, you may translate native EDI to XML with JMS listening channel as well. Make sure that listening channel is not marked as internal and an inbound EDI agreement is deployed for corresponding EDI doc. Following custom JMS headers must be set so that B2B can identify the partner -
    FROM_PARTY
    TO_PARTY
    3. Will B2B Adapter receive operation listens messages from other protocols like File ,FTP ? if so what need to be done ?No. B2B adapter supports only three modes - JMS/AQ/Default (fabric), however you may use file/ftp adapter to receive files from B2B over file/ftp respectively.

  • Will the original iPad no longer receive updates when iOS 7 comes out?

I have been told my original iPad will no longer receive software updates after iOS 7 comes out. Furthermore, I was told I would no longer be able to purchase apps and that the apps I have would no longer receive updates making my iPad totally useless. Is all of this correct?

I imagine that it would be up to the software developers to make sure that their apps will still work with iOS 5.1.1 which is the highest upgrade for the original iPad. So as long as apps are available for iOS 5 you will still be able to purchase them.
If your iPad functions today with the apps that you already have on it, it will still work when iOS 7 is released. A new software upgrade has no bearing on whether your iPad will still be functional. It just will not be able to download new apps that require iOS 6 or iOS 7.

  • How does B2B Adapter for Inbound operation for SOA Composite works

    Hai,
I am new to B2B. can any one share samples or links or doc's on B2B Adapter for inbound operation (receive)?
Can any one share B2B inbound channel configuration ?

    1. How does the above can be achieved using JMS protocol?Where would you like to pitch-in JMS? You want to receive inbound message at B2B over JMS or between SOA and B2B, you want to use JMS?
For receiving inbound message at B2B over JMS, please create a non-internal listening channel at B2B. Make sure to set JMS headers -
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/user.1111/e10229/app_interface.htm#CACDFEAE
For using JMS between, SOA and B2B, create a JMS channel in Host TP profile and add it in the inbound agreement (for inbound scenario). For outbound scenario, create an internal listening channel and make sure that from back-end, headers mentioned on above link, are being set.
    2. Will SOA Composite having B2B Adapter receive operation has first operation can get triggered automatically or not as soon as EDI----->XML message is found?Yes, it can be triggered. Provided the steps in your another thread.
    3. will B2B Adapter receive operation in SOA Composite will take EDI--------> xml msg as opaque? No, if while modelling B2B adapter, you selected a doc-def otherwise yes.

  • Different message strams to different SOA composites?

I have the feeling that all inbound message streams are delivered to the same internal, AQ and JMS channel - I hope I am wrong.
If this is the case and I have multiple SOA Composites in 11g, which include an inbound B2B Adapter, will all of them receive all streams of messages?
If only one of teh multiple SOA Composites will, then which one will it be?
If I can specify, per trading partner agreement / trading partner, which SOA composite will ge the stream of messages, what and how will I configure t do this?
Thanks in advance for pointing me at the appropriate material
    Regards
    Michael

    Hello Michael,
In the absence of an explicit internal channel the IP_IN_QUEUE (AQ) and B@B_IN_QUEUE (JMS) will both receive each message, right? If there is no consumer these messages will be discarded, right? No. Either of AQ queue or JMS queue can be active at a time. By default AQ queue reamains active. So B2B polls IP_OUT_Queue for outbound messages and passes inbound messages to IP_IN_Queue. If you want to activate JMS queues then you have to set B2B system parameter "Use JMS Queue as default" to true. If this option is set to true, then B2B starts to poll on the JMS queue, B2B_OUT_QUEUE for outbound messages, and delivers all inbound messages to B2B_IN_QUEUE. Polling on IP_OUT_QUEUE is stopped. To know more about this setting please refer user guides below section -
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10229/bb_config.htm#CEGEADFJ
In 11g R2 there is a "default" channel as well, which eliminates the nees to use the AQ and JMS as means of interaction between the B2B and teh SOA Composite. It shows up as a "B2B Adapter" in a SOA Composite and acts as an adapter. For integrating B2B with SOA composite, there is a B2B adapter. You may integrate B2B with SOA composite in three ways -
    1. Default
    2. AQ
    3. JMS
This integration is descibed in detail in user guide at below link -
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10229/intro_ui.htm#CHDDJIFC (section 2.5 Using Oracle B2B in the Oracle JDeveloper Environment)
For routing purpose (routing all messages with the same document routing ID to one SOA composite), you may use Document Routing ID. Use of Document routing ID is defined here -
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10229/b2b_documents.htm#CHDHBDEI (section 7.10 Using Document Routing IDs)
Please go through above links once. You may also use Fusion Order demo to understand it in a better way. Section 2.5.3 The B2BX12OrderGateway Composite in the Fusion Order Demo, defines it's use -
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10229/intro_ui.htm#CHDDJIFC
These are newbe questions, since I am a newbe. The B2B User's Guide is not clear on this.A person with more than 28 years of experience in IT, can never be a newbie. It's my pleasure to answer your questions and I hope I am able to do so. :)

  • Error while deploying SOA composite

    Hi,
I am getting the below error while deploying the SOA composite.
Error(45,34): Failed to compile bpel generated classes.
failure to compile the generated BPEL classes for BPEL process "ApprovalProcess" of composite "default/ResourceSerialApproval!1.0"
The class path setting is incorrect.
Ensure that the class path is set correctly. If this happens on the server side, verify that the custom classes or jars which this BPEL process is depending on are deployed correctly. Also verify that the run time is using the same release/version.
I have copied "oimclient.jar" to SCA-INF/lib directory and placed "jps-manifest.jar" in the class path of the project. Also updated the BpelcClasspath with the path of both these jars on the server.
Please suggest me how to resolve this.
    Thanks in Advance.
    -Hrushi

This is resolved by placing all the jar files from "OIM_HOME/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1" directory to the classpath of the project.

  • Where to download B2B Adapter?

where to download B2B Adapter that allow BPEL to integrate with Oracle B2B Integration??

thanks, i manage to get the B2B adapter but i face another problem when i try to deploy.
here is the error i got from the log.
    ORABPEL-05207
    Error deploying BPEL archive.
An error occurred while attempting to deploy the BPEL archive file "bpel_Enqueue850_1.1.jar"; the exception reported is: Problem 1: [http://localhost:9700/BPELConsole/wsil/adapters/B2B/EDI_X12/X12_4010-4010/850/850+Definition?wsdl]: Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via WSDL port element jca:address.
The Adapter Framework is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the WSDL jca:address element: {http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/wsdl/jca/}address: location='eis/b2b'
The reason for this is most likely that either
    1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the OC4J Application server or
    2) the 'location' attribute in $J2EE_HOME/application-deployments/default/deployed-adapter-name/oc4j-ra.xml has not been set to eis/b2b. In the last case you might have to add a new 'connector-factory' entry (connection) to oc4j-ra.xml.
Please correct this and then restart the BPEL/OC4J Application Server
any idea how to fix this problem?

  • SOA B2B adapter(send) - B2B console not identifying partners correctly

    Hi there,
    My case is like this.
Trading partner is sending a doc through custom http server which B2B cant reach.
So I wrote a SOA Composite to fetch this xml from remote & then send the document to B2B.(as if partner is sending to host)
I used B2B adapter & send operation for this.
The issue is, B2B is not correctly recognizing the sender trading partner.
B2B engine is assigning the same TP for both sender and receiver.
I am setting Generic Identifier to set the sender/receiver value.
(for example... am using Google as Host & Amazon as Partner.. )
    Properties Set in B2B Adapter:
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.toTradingPartnerId", value is "Google".Sending property "b2b.toTradingPartnerId", value is "Google".
    28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.documentProtocolVersion", value is "Amazon_1.50".Sending property "b2b.documentProtocolVersion", value is "Amazon_1.50".
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.documentProtocolName", value is "Custom".Sending property "b2b.documentProtocolName", value is "Custom".
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.fromTradingPartnerId", value is "Amazon".Sending property "b2b.fromTradingPartnerId", value is "Amazon".
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.toTradingPartnerIdType", value is "Generic Identifier".Sending property "b2b.toTradingPartnerIdType", value is "Generic Identifier".
    28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.documentDefinitionName", value is "PO_Defn".Sending property "b2b.documentDefinitionName", value is "PO_Defn".
28-Apr-2011 10:43:20 Sending property "b2b.fromTradingPartnerIdType", value is "Generic Identifier".Sending property "b2b.fromTradingPartnerIdType", value is "Generic Identifier".

    As seen In B2B Console:
    Sender Type     Generic Identifier
    Sender Value     Amazon
    Receiver Type     Generic Identifier
    Receiver Value     Google
    Sender     Google (????)
    Receiver     Google
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Not sure, What exactly are you trying to achieve.
Please check with your TP that url should be http://<url>:<port>/b2b/httpReceiver . "http://<url>:<port>/b2b/httpReceiver" or "http://<url>:<port>/b2b/transportServlet" URLs are used by B2B to receive the http request.
To send the message out from B2B, values should be like this:
    Sender Type Generic Identifier
    Sender Value Google
    Receiver Type Generic Identifier
    Receiver Value Amazon
    b2b.toTradingPartnerId = Amazon
    b2b.fromTradingPartnerId = Google
This means message to going from Google to Amazon.
If still the issue persist, Send the log to my mail.

  • In my SOA Composite, Can I use file/FTP adapter to get the EDI X12 850

Our requirement is to build a SOA Composite to dump all the details in a EDI X12 850 ( Purchase order ) document in to a database table. In my SOA Composite, Can I use file/FTP adapter to get the EDI X12 850 element details to map them to a base base columns.

Drop the File Adapter to the left lane of the composite i.e., Services lane...
Go to Step 2, give a meaningful name....
Step 3, select "define from operation and schema"
Step 4, select the operation type as "read"
Step 5, select physical path and give the folder path in the "Directory for incoming files" field.,
Step 6, select wildcards and give the expression depending on the file name it would be at run time...
Step 7, select the polling frequency as required....
Step 8, in the URL field, adjacent to that , select "browse for schema file" and select the XSD which you have exported from B2B Editor.
say next and finish, you will be good to go.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

    Hi Kevin,
    Thanks for the idea!!
Just wanted to check if there is a way to set the variable from within the soa composite with the error message which can then be displayed on OIM UI. Like if there is any error i.e., if we try to assign a task to the user who is not present in OIM, the error gets displayed and the status of the task is shown as "ALERTED" . Is it possible to achieve the similar behaviour with custom errors!!
    Thanks,

  • How to use the b2b to send and recieve HL& message  without SOA Composite

    Hi Guru's
We are doing HL7 transactions at our end. We have following use case
Inbound partner gets the HL7(ADT) message and then without any transformation we wan't to send the message to another partner ( set up in the same b2B). I understand I can do this way
    b2b--> SOA Composite--> B2B
but we don't want to use the SOA composite here as it is simple passthrough ( i.e no transformation of data is done).
I understand B2B when it gets the message puts in IP_IN_QUEUE
Can b2b( remote tp) read directly from IP_QUeue and send it.
I mean it has this strcuture
    Inbound tP--> HOST--> Outbound TP
by doing this we will have no need to create the SOA composite. I hope this should be possible. I tried using the listening channel but outbound TP did'd got any message. Can you please guide me in all the steps I need to follow in order to set this up?
Any pointers will be highly appreciated as this will eliminate the SOA composite from the picture.
    Regards
    Sahil

    Hi Sahil,
Yes, it can be done using HUB mode implementation. Please refer -
    http://blogs.oracle.com/oracleb2bgurus/entry/implementing_oracle_b2b_11g_as
A sample configuration is also provided there (for HL7 itself).

  • How to create incident rule for SOA composite faulted instances

    Hi Experts,
How can I create an incident rule for creating an incident when a SOA composite instance goes faulted. I want to notify the administrator when any of the SOA composite instance gets faulted but I am not able to undestand in my incident rule what type of event should be used,in-short I am not able to understand how can I create a rule for eveluating SOA composite faulted instances.
I am posting this query third time here. Please suggest me a solution or is this a limitation of OEM 12c Cloud Control ?
    Please help...its eally urgent!!!

Creating Incident rules is a very simple process as long as you know what event you wanna create your rule one. In your case specifically, its even more simple since you already know your target type and metric name.
    Steps:
    1) Create a rule set.
    2) On the same page hit "Targets" tab and select "All target types" and select "SOA Composite" from the target type list.
    3) Now hit "Rules" tab and then hot "Create" and then select first radio button - "Incoming events" since you wanna wrap SOA composite fault metric alert event into a rule.
    4) Now select "Type" and select "Metric Alert"
    5) Now since you are interested in a "specific event" - SOA composite fault metric alert event, select that radio button and hit "Add"
    6) From the "Target Type" dropdown, select "SOA Composite" target type and type "%Fault%" in the Metric name textbox and hit Search.
    7) Select you Metric name and select you severity as you wish.
    8) Add Actions - create notification, emails etc. (Refer docs to understand how best you can use these options as needed)
    9) Save your rule and save your Rule set.
You have a rule (Make sure its enabled) that will execute your specified actions when any SOA Composite will breach your the selected metric (Fault metric in your case)

  • How B2B Adapter will process multiple statements in one file

    Hi All,
I have a file of MT940 format. I am able to read the file using B2B adapter. It contains multiple statements. Each statement is having opening and closing balance.
Now B2B Adapter is creating the instance on each statements Simultaneously.
    Problem:
Here i need the closing balance of the 1st statement, is opening for the next statement, and i need to record the updated closing and opening balance in table. As B2B is processing independently each statement, i am not able to correlate the statement details.
    Example -
Lets say i have 3001490311 - 16012013 MT940 File having mutilple statements, Lets say 3 statements.
    Statement 1 -
    Op Bal - 10,000, Cl Bal - 20,000
    Statement 2 -
    Op Bal - 20,000, Cl Bal - 30,000
    Statement 3 -
    Op Bal - 30,000, Cl Bal - 40,000
I need to record the Updated closing balance in the table, As B2B Adpter starts processing the statements independently, so i am not able to corelate bettwen the statements. Please if any one has any solution for this problem, please post it immediately

    Thanks Anuj,
Thanks for your reply. As I unchecked the translate button. while testing i came to know that, In B2B console it showing as complete, but soa process is not getting started.
    Problem:
B2b reading the file sequentially. In My case file type MT940 Postional Flat File. As its getting the starting position of the statement, B2B is creating a instance and that instance keep on moving independently, now again B2b is keep on reading the another statements in the same file.
Once again B2B is getting a starting position to read the statement, again creating the instance. so in the similar ways B2B is keep on creating the instance for other statement in the same file.
But in my case i need the out put of one process should be input to the next processs. As B2B is processing independently, i am not able to correalte the processes.
In my case I need B2b should processs first statement, till completion of the first process second processes should not initiate, so that i can use the out put of one process to input to the another process.
    Thanks

  • Error While executing the SOA Composite application.

    Hi Gurus,
I have recently installed the VM box "oel6-64bit-soasuite-11gr1-ps6-otn.ovi" for Learning the SOA and also gone through the SOA Oracle training so i have the lab exercise documents with me. So i was trying to follow the steps mentioned in the training document for chapter 5 (CCValidate) for credit card Validation in which SOA composite application uses the DB adapter to query the DA and return the Credit card status.
I'm using the JNDI as "eis/DB/SOADemo" and when i looked in the Admin Console i can see the DB adapter status is OK .
    Domain Structure --> dev_soasuite --> Services --> Data Source --> I dont See the eis/DB/SOADemo listed.
also tried to add the eis/DB/SOADemo in data Source but thorws Java exception saying already exists.
Domain Structure --> Environment --> Servers --> View JNDI Tree --> I can see the above mentioend JNDI i.e. eis/DB/SOADemo.
Please let me know what is wrong and how i can get rid of it.
But when i deployed the SOA Composite application on Server and tested the same it is throwing exception as below

    > Domain Structure --> dev_soasuite --> Services --> Data Source --> I dont See the eis/DB/SOADemo listed.
Do you see jdbc/SOADataSource? If you go to connection pool, what are the connection parameters: host, database, user, etc? I bet the user is not SOADEMO there...
    > When i queried it from the database using the user SOADEMO it returns data
What other parameters are you using to query the database? host, database, etc... Are them the SAME you see on the connection pool above? I bet something is different...
    Hope this helps...

  • How to get partner related information in soa composite

    hi,
I have a SOA composite that receives a B2B inbound message from a trading partner.
I have couple of identifiers defined for that trading partner. But using the properties tab in the B2B component of composite I can get access to only one identifier(which is probably used to identify the from party in the first place) of the trading partner.
Is there api to accesses values of other identifiers defined for that trading partner.
    Any Idea!!
    Thanks,
    Anil

    The api for getSenderId says
"Returns the sender identification associated with the message
Returns: String sender identification type and value. Example: DUNS 123456789"
In my case I have the partner configured with following identifiers:
    DUNS 123456789
    PHONE 1000000
If DUNS is used to identify the partner sending the message getSenderId() will return "DUNS 123456789", but I want to access PHONE value. How do I get it?
    Thanks,
    Anil
