Will someone please help me (step by step, please) back up my iPad 2 to my Mac?

Have you connected the iPad to that computer before ? If not then when you connect it your Mac may want to replace all content that you currently have on your iPad with what is in the Mac's iTunes library - this page may be of help to try and stop that happening : Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive
If that is the computer that you sync the iPad to then when you connect the iPad you can copy your iTunes downloads over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option (your iTunes downloads aren't included in the actual backup, nor are the contents of the Music and Videos apps ; if you need to restore to a backup then they are picked up from your iTunes library - the actual backup contains things like documents, notes, camera roll photos, contacts, settings etc)
And below that on the menu is a Back Up option

About backups (page also lists what is included in it) : iTunes: About iOS backups
The backup itself is not of much use except for restoring back onto a device e.g. you can't extract files, photos etc from it.

Are you using a Microsoft or Apache web server? If so, you can submit to a server-side script, which will bypass web mail and client-side email software such as OUTLOOK.

Go to the open dialog in Pages and select iCloud.
Click on the folder that you created on iCloud to open the folder.
On the lower half of the window (the open folder) click on the name of the folder.
Once you click and select the folder's name it should be editable.

There is no need to shout.
What happens when you to try to buy it ? If you have a balance on your account then that should be automatically used, you can't/don't need to specify how it's charged.

You do realize, that you can go to the appstore on your phone and download apps there, without plugging into itunes on your computer.

Songs in Ipod but not in itunes library. no option to back up so i can restore. Will someone please help me?

Ok, see, i was dowloading some songs off of http://www.youtube-mp3.org. I dragged the songs into my itunes library, but when i looked, they weren't in there. so i looked at my ipod and the songs i downloaded were on it! i dont know how either! i tried to back up my downloaded songs so i could restore it to see if that would help, but there wasn't an option for me to back up my ipod when i right clicked on it. i looked atsome of the other forums about the "AppData" solution. it said to delete the corrupted file if there was one, but i dont know what to look for. can someone please help me? this is driving me crazy.

My Flash Player will not show the images. Will someone please help me?

I am trying to make a Presentation to email for others to see without a browser, but when I do, it doesn't show. I've downloaded Adobe Flash Player 10.0 r22, I've built the presentation, I've published the presentation and uploaded to my hosting. I have tried everythiing I can think of. It works on my machine; however, when I try to view it out of it's containing folder, it doesn't show anything but the preloader. Can someone please help me?
I can send you an example of a working Presentation along with a Zip file containing my presentation with everything I've built if my explanation isn't quite clear. Please help.

Will someone PLEASE help a desperate woman by telling me how to talk by phone to a real person at apple support. Cannot find an answer to my question and cannot find a phone number for support.

I set up my new iPad under my daughters ID because her's is attached to my email. Tried to rent a movie from iTunes. Said I had to answer security questions since it was my first purchase. She didn't remember the answers. So it locked. She reset her password and everything works on her iPad but on mine it still wanting answers to the security questions and we don't have the answers (her questions could have multiple answers...favorite teacher, favorite friend). Is there a way to completely disconnect from her ID or can someone please share the phone number for customer support with me? Thanks so much in advance!

Providing you know your ID and password, you should be able to rewrite your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > password & security.

I am almost about to give up hope with this. I have posted FOUR questions with no answers, so someone please answer this one.
My iPhone 3GS has never been jailbroken. A couple of months ago now, the bottom half of my iPhone screen became unresponsive so I thought I would try to restore it to see if it would make it alright again. Worst mistake of my life. It is now stuck in recovery mode and will not come out, for anything. I have had various different error messages, i've tried everything. All the software programs, holding home and power and whatever else. Nothing. When trying to restore it, it will come to the last part of the bar and fail. Every single time. I really could do with some help on this one. Please.

Take a look at this link, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414 It's look like your iPhone needs to be repaired, the digitizer is damaged and it could be causing the problem of not letting your iPhone completely restore. Take your iPhone to your nearest Apple store.

We recently transferred our calls & broadband back to BT. Keeping this as brief as possible - BT said they were starting their service on 20th September & everything appeared to go smoothly. It subsequently transpired that our phone number had not been transferred, so when the previous provider terminated their service to us on 6th October we were then unable to make outgoing calls.
Despite many hours on the phone to BT the problem has not been resolved, with most customer services staff ( I have spoken with at least 10 different individuals) seeming to be unable to grasp the basics of what has happened. One (rare) helpful chap advised thus : our (BT's) original request to transfer the number to us failed for reasons unknown. Subsequent requests to transfer the number are also failing because the previous provider no longer owns the number (it's terminated, remember) - they cannot transfer something they no longer own. We'll put a 'stop/start' instruction on your line.
Sadly this message doesn't appear to have been passed to the relevant department, and everyone I have subsequently spoken with advises me that they will re-submit the order to the previous provider to transfer the number over. Which of course fails every time. It's just like groundhog day. The last person I spoke with 'guaranteed' me that he would call me back by 9.30pm this evening and that my problem would also be fixed by then. Neither of these things has happened.
In the meantime, we do have a workaround in that we can make outgoing calls if we prefix the number with 1280. I still have 2 concerns though:
1) I was supposed to be on the anytime tariff as of 20th September & I should not have to pay for any calls that I made (unknowingly) via the other provider between 20th September and 6th October when they terminated my contract.
2) For the sake of my mental health I don't wish to spend any more hours on the phone trying to get hold of a human being, or (mostly) on hold or speaking with people who simply won't listen to me or don't understand English. My last call was 62 minutes & 28 seconds long and I would estimate that 45 of those minutes were spent on hold.
Would someone please, please, PLEASE fix my line so that I can make outgoing calls ????????????????????????

I have a 1GB ipod i bought a year ago, the software that came with it was itunes and it worked good. I could see a list of all the songs on my ipod in itunes when i connected it. then:
My niece got an ipod shuffle for christmas and she wanted me to charge it and put songs on it for her. The itunes told me i needed a newer version so i downloaded that and installed it. Now, when i plug in MY ipod, i cannot see my songs. also, it erases my ipod when i plug it in and puts her songs on it. then, when i put my songs back in it and later plug in hers, it erases her songs and fills it with mine. It is driving me crazy. can someone please help me figure out why i cannot see my songs on my ipod but i CAN see the songs on hers? And how do i stop this infernal software from erasing the ipods? Yes, that is where to look. However, I don't have a method for you.
But it is possible to insert a graphic into a PS document (in this case a menu) that is larger than the image/layer size. I just put such a graphic (a simple rectangle 15 x 10,000 pixels). You only see the layer size (1920x1080), but if I drag that graphic to a 500x10,500 document, you can see that the whole graphic was in a layer in the EN menu.
I don't know how to find the size of a graphic element that is larger than the PS document nor how to see whether a graphic extends beyond the document.
Do you recall adding something that might have been large? Let's see if someone can tell us. (Or you can ask in the PS forum) If nothing else, I would reconstruct the menu and pay careful attention to what I am adding.
I have not experienced this error and cannot guarantee that this is your problem.

Is your device recognized by your computer? If yes, copy the pictures and videos as shown in this article:
Copying personal photos and videos from iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer
If it is not recognized, try this first: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
Disable autosync in iTunes, right click on it in the device list and choose "transfer purchases" to copy apps and other media bought in iTunes to your new library.
Do the same again and choose "backup", to create a manual backup without syncing.
Since your device will be erased due to the new iTunes library during the first sync, you can use this backup afterwards to restore your settings and data.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer before you start, to be able to merge calendars and contacts.

Will someone please help me with this Samsung Intensity III??

I have had this Intensity III for 3 days now. I stay completely confused EVERY time I open the menu. Somehow I was in "Phone Settings" & accidentally chose "NAM Select". I don't have any idea what "NAM" even means!! When I tried to exit that place "Auto NAM Select". The only option was "OK", which made to phone automatically turn off showing "Reset". I am not sure what the original settings were, so I don't know if I even changed anything. Each "NAM" option have different choices. I am SO confused!!! Any help would be SUPER appreciated!! Thanks, I hope to hear form someone!
