Will the processing of an Output type be skipped?
Hello,
Suppose there are two output types defined for a condition.
1. Now, when the first output type triggers, will the second output type be skipped?
2. If not, is there any way to ensure that if the first type triggers then the second output type will be skipped?

I guess you are not sure what you are looking for. You can have multiple conditions of a single output type. The above statement doesn't hold true.

Hi Friends,
I am facing below mentioned issue and request your suggestion to solve it
Via processing of sales order output type BA00 another Z output type is processed and acknowledgment is sent to SAP inbox( sost).
This is working incase of manual addition of BA00 output type and via standard program " sd70av1a", but this functionality is not working when i am calling this standard program in a Z report via batch job.
with the below code-
DATA: name TYPE tbtcjob-jobname.
DATA: number TYPE tbtcjob-jobcount.
DATA: print_parameters TYPE pri_params.
name = 'ORDER_PRINTING'.
CLEAR: range1.
*REFRESH: range.
range1-sign = 'I'.
range1-option = 'EQ'.
range1-low = 'BA00'.
* range1-high = 'ZBA1'.
APPEND range1 TO range.
CALL FUNCTION 'JOB_OPEN'
EXPORTING
jobname = name
IMPORTING
jobcount = number
EXCEPTIONS
cant_create_job = 1
invalid_job_data = 2
jobname_missing = 3
OTHERS = 4.
IF sy-subrc = 0.
SUBMIT sd70av1a WITH rg_kschl IN range
WITH rg_vbeln IN order_tab
TO SAP-SPOOL
SPOOL PARAMETERS print_parameters
WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO
VIA JOB name NUMBER number
AND RETURN.
IF sy-subrc = 0.
CALL FUNCTION 'JOB_CLOSE'
EXPORTING
jobcount = number
jobname = name
strtimmed = 'X'
EXCEPTIONS
cant_start_immediate = 1
invalid_startdate = 2
jobname_missing = 3
job_close_failed = 4
job_nosteps = 5
job_notex = 6
lock_failed = 7
OTHERS = 8.
IF sy-subrc <> 0.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
In this case only BA00 is getting processed but Z output type created for sending acknowledgment is not triggered.
Please suggest how can i achieve the required functionality.
Thanks,
SuryaSolved myself..
Thanks.

agilarasanHi,
Go to Nace .The application for Goods Issues is
ME - Inventory Management -> select and click on output types ->select wa03 output type and click on processing routines here you can find the form name and the driver program name.So while printing select wa03 as the output type.

Data types used in a sub VI - selecting the correct input and output types?
data types used in a sub VI - selecting the correct input and output types?
I can never work out how to choose an input or output format for Subvi's.
I want to create a SubVI for the code in red. I needs an VI Server Reference compatible input and an output that goes to a waveform.
Thanks in advance.

I realise now I have taken us in the wrong direction. apologies for that.
History, this is not my code and I do not own the process and NOT my preferred method of using it. I was looking for a simple way to make subtle changes.
What we do - We use these programs to collect data from typically 6 pressures and 6 temperature probes and capture RS232 / USB VISA strings from sensors.
So every few weeks / months or up to a year we rearrange each sensor location to suit the new process. I did not write the code. I cannot change the procedure too much without resistance.
So headers in the CSV file have the DaqMX string passed through the code. Great.
Other data to the CSV file comes from calculations or extracted from the VISA string. Hence why we have headers with "Untitled 1 ()". These values also go to a History Chart.
So I was looking for a simple way to read the the local variable label as it is always linked to the front page indicator. People can cope with editing the indicator label, save the VI and hit run.
TL;DR - GerdW is now a psychologist.

Creation of Process code for output type
Hi,
Could someone help me out in defining processcodes for output types.
Thanks in advance,
YaseenHi Yaseen,
The Tr.code WE41 and WE42 are also used for maintaining process codes.
To maintain process codes in WE41 or WE42, Go to these Tr.Codes and Click on the Change button. Then click on "new entries" button to create your new process code.
FYI, Outbound process codes are stored in SAP Table TEDE1 and inbound process codes are stored in SAP Table TEDE2.
Hope this helps.
Rgds,
Sam Raju

Hello All,
i have an output type for a delivery. whenever a new delivery is created or modified, i need to collect that information and write it to the application server, and also need to change the processing status of output type from yellow to green.
please anybody tell where to write this logic and how to change the traffic signal status....
thx in advance,
Sippy.Hi,
In NACE you will be provided with the output types................
write a custom driver program that makes your work...and ask support team to configure your progam to
the Standard SAP transactions where you want your program have to execute.

Update LIKP table while saving the output type in VT02N transaction
Hi All,
I have a requirement where i have to update Delivery Priority(LPRIO) field in LIKP table while saving the output type in VT02N transaction. I am not able to use the BAPI "BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE" or FM "WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE" because, when we save the output type the programs that are configured in NACE are triggered in update mode and hence i will get a roll back error.
Let me know other ways of updating the table at the time of saving output type for shipment transaction VT02N.This could be a result of one of the following reasons:
1: Incorrect smart form/routine assigned in the output configuration (NACE)
2: Serial number range of the delivery expired
3: The default settings of the user (SU01) processing the delivery is missing the default printer name.
Hope this is helpful

Maintaining the Output type in the PO from Sales Order
Hi experts,
I have developed one application for Sales Order that..there is one link of Purchase order in the Sales order.if i click on PO in the sales order.it goes to me22n screen.if i will maintain the output type in the PO and Click on SAVE button.it gives some error like (No update of sales order 100001 from purchase
order (error V1 275)).
cud u help me to solve the above issue.its very urgent.
is there any way to change to va02 to va03...when i am going from va02 to me22n
thanx in advance
regards,
hppMay be because when saving the PO, it's trying to update some sales order related data too and it's locked by you. Try using the save button in output type maintenance screen, or open the sales order in display mode and call ME22N and try maintaining the output type.
or try using LEAVE TO TRANSACTION ME22N from VA02.

Sridhar

Which tcode is using the output type
Hi experts,
Is there any way (tcode/table) to determine which tcode will use an output type?
Ex: Our client has a request to modify a smartform. Supposed that I can determine the printing program and output type. But how do I know this output type used in which tcode?
Thanks.Hi
It depends on which business transaction the output has to be run.
Every business transaction can have own trx to run the print.
For example for the purchase order you can use ME9F, for the bill is VF31, but if the trx is not standard it's not easy to find out it.
Anyway every print can be run by std report RSNAST00.
For only the logistic print (so for module SD and MM) the output type is managed by trx NACE (or see table TNAPR), but other modules have an own way to manage the print, so there isn't a sure way to know your issue, only the experience.
