Windows Mobile SDK not found?
Hi,
I just downloaded Adobe Mobile Packager and all the SDKs (I
already had Windows Mobile 6 SDK).
But when I click on "Create New Package" I get a dialog
telling me that I don't have Windows Mobile SDK, and if I ignore it
I can only create packages for Symbian. Please help...
Also, the CAB SDK is an exe/zip file... where should we unzip
it, as it has no setup?
Thanks,
Benjamin
Hello,
Originally, I installed the Package Manager without the
proper SDKs. I have now downloaded and installed all of the proper
SDK's including the Windows
5 Mobile SDK (which is the device that I am trying to
target) at the following location C:\Program Files\Windows CE
Tools\wce500\Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK. I uninstalled the
package manager and reinstalled. However when I start the package
manager, I am still getting the error described above of cannot
find "Windows Mobile SDK".
Any suggestions,
Windows XP sp3
Thanks,
G

Fennec 1.1a1 for Windows Mobile file not found
The download links in http://www.mozilla.org/projects/fennec/1.1a1-wm/releasenotes/ are broken, and lead to 404 errors. When I go to the FTP daemon directly and look around, I find that ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/winmo/ doesn't contain a 1.1a1 or 1.0a4 folder; the last one is 1.0a3. Where should I be looking for this file?
I don't know why the links from that page are broken, but you can find some of the last 1.1 alpha "nightly" builds for Windows Mobile here:

Where can I get Palm Windows Mobile SDK
Hi, I know this is not the right place but I am out of option.
I desperately need to get hold of the Palm Windows Mobile SDK - need to programmatically control the POWER ON pin on a Treo 750. But the download link on the Palm developer network, https://pdnet.palm.com is not working - "Access Denied". I got no response to my email requests from the Palm developer network, I guess that site has been abandoned.
Could someone kindly tell me who I should contact about this or tell me where I can get a copy of the SDK?
Palm should at least re-instate the SDK download link. It would also be nice to put a notice there so people know what level of supprot is expected there.
Post relates to: Treo 750
Post relates to: Treo 750 (AT&T)Are you able to log in? Did you get the validation email from Palm to activate your account?
I'm viewing the right-hand column where a list resides labled "Windows Mobile SDK".

The link above these selections is alive, and I'm taken to a download section.

[SOLVED] Appcelerator Titanium Studio: Android SDK Not Found
Hello,
This is my first post here, as it is my first week of using arch linux
I have a problem using Appcelerator Titanium Studio. I have installed android sdk but whenever I select it's location through the titanium studio configuration window, it shows the error "Android SDK not found at the specified path":
MOD EDIT -- Please follow image posting rules -- Inxsible
What I tried and did:
1. Installed Android-SDK through yaourt in /opt/android-sdk, updated all packages through ./android, copied adb into "tools" as suggested by appcelerator. Tried selecting this directory in titanium, did not work.
I tried all of the following paths:
/opt/android-sdk
/opt/android-sdk/
/opt/android-sdk/tools
/opt/android-sdk/platform-tools
2. Installed Android-SDK manually by downloading the latest binaries: http://dl.google.com/android/android-sd … ux_x86.tgz into ~/android-sdk
I updated all packages there again though ./android and tried selecting all paths I could think of related to that directory in titanium studio, did not work again.
3. I thought maybe folder permissions are the problem but even a 777 wouldn't work.
4. I checked the titanium log file and here is the error shown: http://pastebin.com/2XRJ1xyx
Here is the script mentioned in the error: http://pastebin.com/jXvaa23M
5. I also tried setting #!/usr/bin/env python2 in the script since the default interpreter is python 3 in my system, did not work.
Additional Info: I have Sun JDK 64bit, JRE, tried both 32 & 64 of Titanium Studio, the 32 one didn't want to run at all.
I can confirm that android SDK works since the emulator is running flawless.
So at this point I can't continue anymore and have no idea where to go next :S
any help / experiences appreciated.

It turned out that installing python25 from aur solved the problem, android sdk is now detected and everything works smooth.

Installed latest version of iTunes 10 on a Windows 7 64-bit PC. Occasionally iTunes runs, but usually it gives the error: "Quicktime was not found. Quicktime is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again".
I have done this about 3 times, making sure to uninstall everything apple (itunes, quicktime, bonjour, etc.) Once I even followed a recommendation to delete all application data and reinstall. Rebooting, etc.
Quicktime runs absolutely fine.
I even tried repairing quicktime, installing quicktime by itself after iTunes was installed. No luck. Any ideas???I've downloaded the iTunes installation file and tried to install or repair 3 times but keep getting a message that a required component is not installed (-45075).
Just in case the component being referenced is not part of iTunes but is rather part of one of the other related programs, it might be worth trying a complete uninstall/reinstall of iTunes and related componentry, as per the following troubleshooting document:

Clicking on system ->advanced -> environment variables does not show me a ORACLE_HOME but I guess
that this is not the issue since the listerner is starting right ???I don't think going via command line or not has that effect. Actually when using e.g. tnsping the oracle.key file is used to identify Oracle Home's registry key, from which Home environment settings (e.g. ORA_, NLS_ and TNS_ parameters) are read.

Problem may be related to "mixing" oracle homes. Is this a clean machine with no prior Oracle installations? -
I have a full version of Windows XP SP2 that I am trying to install on my intel-based mac. After partitioning the hard drive, Boot Camp Assistant guides me to insert the Windows disc and click "start installation." When I do this, I get a message stating that "The installer disc could not be found." I have tried rebooting and holding the "option" key, but the disc is still not found. What can I do?
I have tried restarting holding down the command key and seeing if the windows install disc will propose, but it doesn't.
I assume you were trying to follow xnav's suggestion. The key, 'C', to hold down while restarting is not the Command key; it is the first letter in the word 'cat'.
I further assume you are using a Windows XP with SP2 disk. If you do not have SP2 all sorts of problems will arise. Even though it should have given the iMac problems if it did not have SP2, it is worth confirming that the disk has SP2. Or is a 32 bit Vista.
One final thing(s) to try. Insert the Windows disk while booted into Mac OS. Does it mount? Can you browse it? If so, can you copy it onto another disk? Some/all MB(P)'s can be a bit picky about disks. If the Windows disk is scratched/smudged/dirty, it is possible that the iMac can read it but your MBP cannot, and if the disk is warped the Windows drivers on the install CD are too primitive to compensate. Making a copy might produce a usable disk.
But really, what's with all these colleges that require Windows??? -
Windows Mobile 6 not syncing with Exchange Server / Error Code: 0x80072F06
Just got my Dopod 838 pro with Windows Mobile 6 installed. Having this problem when trying to sync with corp. Exchange server:
The ActiveSync circle on the phone turns yellow/brown, clicking the Error message it says:
The Security Certificate on the server is invalid, please contact Exchange Server Admin or ISP, to install valid certificate on the server.
Support / Error Code: 0x80072F06
That's the problem. My phone doesn't have a Data Link connection problem as I am able to go online with it, also the company's Exchange Server is good, a few days ago I used my Windows Mobile 5 to sync with it without a problem. (but then I lost the phone)
Can some one help? Thanks. Can u help me here?
I have a windows 6 mobile devices (all) that are having an issue connecting to my exchange server. I am pretty useful with certs but this one is baffling me. I have a windows 2003 sbs server. I recently created a san cer on the server and since then my Windows devices cannot synch. I belive I have setup correctly, or not?? Ther error and the steps are below...
ERROR ON DEVICE:
The security certificate on the server is not valid.Contact your exchange server administrator or ISP to install a valid certificate on the server:
support code: 0x80072f06
STEPS I USED TO CREATE SAN:
1. Created certificate using article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931351/en-us
I added the following as SN: MAIL.EXTERNAL.COM (my external dns record for mail server)
And added the following for SAN: SERVER01 (my mail server name )
SERVER01.INTERNAL.LOCAL (my mail server fqdn)
2. Exported Root CA cert and imported to my phone
3. configured active synch to connect to mail.external.com on 443
I believe these are the correct steps. I would liked to have been able to export the SAN cert from IIS with private key and install on phone but the webserver template doesnt allow you to export private keys. I also cannot create a dubplicate webserver template to allow the export of the private key as you need enterprise edition of windows 2003 to do this.
So I am at the end of line I tried exporting the cert without the privtate key and importing it but still keep getting samer error.
Why of Why does it not like my cert?
I have just noticed now when I browse to the same address for OWA externally I am getting the error on my browser too even though I have the cert installed on my laptop

If not you'll have redeploy it .
Which JRE version are you using ?

please give the solution to my problem.hey ditton01,
when you go to Device Manager and look at the integrated mobile broadband, was the brand attached to it ?
anyway, try removing Access Connection and use Windows built-in connection wizard.

Windows 7 Driver Not found in Pre-Installation
I have a issue that when i start the bootcamp assitant and click on the install .. then its restart my macbook pro 15" core i5 2.53 and goes prompt me the screen to install the windows then all goes fine when i click on the install windows then its searches and then said no driver found please select the driver please help me for this issue. and their is 2 option browse and rescan and next is inactive please help me.. and their is one more problem that on that time i can't eject my windows 7 DVD infact i am pressing the CD/DVD eject button ... but nothing happen so i forcefully researt and eject it and again start the mac os x...
Please help me...Yeah, thing is, i need it for school -.-, also use it for gaming until they come to mac :P
A windows HATER as i am, i needed 64 bit to acces all my ram instead of the miserable 3GB limit of xp 32 bit
And that iMac thing, it gave me a new window in the installer already, i can now chose between basic professional ultimate and some toher thing, but the error still remains
WHAT I HAVE FIGURED OUT; the error now says that the partition is of the GTP type =/
It was NOT created with bootcamp since it's giving major errors
The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.
The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows.
Restoring it to 1 partition in mac os journaled doesn't work =/
So i made the partition myself, that's why i needed the drivers
So the problem is now the "GTP partition"
i'm all apple btw, windows is just because i NEED it office 2010 mac isn't really what it should be... lots of missing things -.-
I'm totally with you on the "D" for windows

ps might not reply for a while, am going on holiday, but i appreciate your effort -

[SOLVED] Having trouble dual booting Windows: normal.mod not found
Hello every one, I'm a Gentoo user who wants to try something different. So I thought I'd install Arch on my new laptop.
Anyhow, this is my first proper UEFI install on real hardware. So I might be doing something stupid here, but I've searched all over the forums and the internet and can't seem to find anything similar about it. So please excuse me if there is already a similar or very similar topic
Since I'm new to Arch I followed the Beginner's guide. Everything went fine, install was very quick compared to Gentoo phew... anyhow there came the tricky part, the bootloader install, as I am a real total noob with EFI. I followed the instructions carefully.
The result is: I now have 4 entries in my GRUB menu, 2 are Arch and its fallback, one is Windows 8 detected by osprober, and one is my custom Windows 8 with the usual chain loading setup that i've always used (with some fixes found on the 'net). Arch boots fine, but Windows doesn't; I get booted down to the recovery console, with an error that GRUB cannot find /boot/grub/x86_64-efi/normal.mod. Even though the file is of course existing. I tried to "insmod part_gpt" and others, and it couldn't find any of them, except part_msdos. Yeah I know, it's weird. Unfortunately I need to use Windows sometimes for some programs like Guitar Rig which need a good native audio connection.
My opinion is that there must be some place where the paths are not correct. But I keep looking at the config files and I can't find anything wrong with them...
The system had a Linux Mint 14 install on it previously but it bricked itself while updating to Mint 15. And I only really had Mint on there because of the automatic bootloader setup. Which worked well up to when I got rid of Mint (it was on /dev/sda8, where Arch is now). I hope it doesn't complicate the matter.
My EFI system partition is /dev/sda2. There are so many partitions because it's a Samsung laptop and there's a partition for samsung recovery, one for windows 8 recovery, and so on... The only "real" partitions are /dev/sda2 for EFI, /dev/sda4 for Windows, and /dev/sda8 for Arch.
Here are some command outputs to show you what my system is like. I hope they are helpful. If there's anything missing I shall supplement it of course!
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply!
Yes, I had /dev/sda2, my EFI partition, mounted at /boot when I did grub-install and grub-mkconfig. I also had the efivars filesystem unmounted, and ran rmmod plus modprobe on efivars as written.
umount /sys/firmware/efi/efivars
# modprobe -r efivars
# modprobe efivars
My command was exactly the same as the beginner's guide, and it was
grub-install --efi-directory=/boot --bootloader-id=arch_grub --recheck
Now looking at that command, I am wondering, should it have been "--efi-directory=/boot/EFI" or something similar like that? But the fact that Arch boots and runs fine kind of shows the bootloader did indeed install correctly... Or partially at least.
Maybe an ls -l of some of my /boot directories might be useful. Thanks!
