With Firefox 4.0 beta 12, I can no longer print legible articles from the NYT or elsewhere; I have to go to Explorer to print the articles. What gives?

When I print an article from the NYT or elsewhere, I get pages that are illegible--as if written in code. I never had this problem before. I must go to Explorer to print--or copy & paste to Word and then prin the Word document. Obviously there is a malfunction interfering with the printing.

There is a known bug involving printing in beta 12. This has been fixed in the Firefox 4 release candidate which is now available.

I have just updated to Firefox v 6.0.2 and can no-longer open web links from Windows Live Mail 2011 (Bld 15.4.3538).

Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10".

Hello, i am using firefox more than 5 years and i'm download video file from youtube by internet download maneger. i'm also download many file with that softwar from various website, like mediafire, songs.pk, subscene.com etc. recently i used 4.0 firefox beta 9 instead of previous version of firefox. with that version i cant download any file by idm. whenever i open any video file from youtube there shown a idm download bar for download the file. in beta it is not shown. if i download any file then instead of idm it download by default download of firefox. but in previous version or other browser download bar is shown & i'm easily download by idm. in idm it has more fasility for downloading. so i like to use it. beta has many good option but i dnt think without idm it is best. plz tell me that where's the problem? if i'm mistake anything or beta is make like that.

Make sure you have the latest version of IDM (version 6.04), based on comments elsewhere that version should support Firefox 4.

Hi, the work around suggested above should put you in working mode in the meantime. However to help investigate the issue it is possible to analyze what is not loading or taking a long time by analyzing the network traffic or http headers of the Nunit web page.

I upgraded IClick DVD Copy, but it will not work with Firefox. It has not been upgraded since I have been with firefox. Is there anything I can do?

I went to use 1 Click DVD Copy and there was an upgrade, so I went to the web site and downloaded the new version. After it was downloaded, I tried to use it; however, the disk to click to copy CD's was distorted and messed up my desktop. I did not have this problem the last time I did this when I was not with Firefox.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

To configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader to open PDF files:
1. Quit Internet Explorer(any other browser)
2. Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
3. Choose Edit > Preferences.
4. Select Internet in the list on the left.
5. Deselect(Uncheck) Display PDF in Browser, and click OK.

hello Geoff, you've probably got unwanted adware and malicious software on your system.
try to run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] and [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner] - they are specialised in removing browser hijackers.

You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

Far as your Safari problem do these things until it's resolved:
1: Software Update fully under the Apple menu.
2: Check the status of your plug-ins and update (works for all browsers) also install Firefox and see if your problems continue. You should always have at least two browsers on the machine just in case one fails.

I checked with SanDisk's own online support and they indicate that they have notified Apple of the issue.
According to SanDisk, the problem lies with Apple not having the iOS 8 version of the Safari browser having DRM decoding enabled that the Media Drive relies upon to decode and play iTunes DRM titles. Non DRM encoded videos will play in the browser.
DRM audio is not effected as this is handled by the native iOS music app.
As of the date of this post SanDisk have not been given a timeframe by Apple for this issue to be resolved.
I hope that Apple resolves this issue quickly as I have a large collection of DRM video titles on a 128Mb memory card installed in the Media Drive that I am unable to view.

I have been told by Apple security that the ID does not exist it is now associated with my new ID, they told me to call support there is a pending case but they can not seem to provide an answer. If I log in in with my original ID. It does not recogonise my passwords or any answers I give to the security questions Grrrrrr I wished I never changed my ID!!!
