Hello  Kosta
Thanks - I do have exactly the same problem, I installed Eclipse and Glassfish 4.1 from "fresh" including all updates and have Glassfish-Tools Version
  GlassFish Tools
7.3.3.201412231459
oracle.eclipse.tools.glassfish.feature.group
Oracle
installiert. Do you have any idea how I could this problem track down? I tried switching my Glassfish domain to a specific JDK-level, but this didn't help either.
Thanks a lot and best regards!

  • Unable to deploy apps to SharePoint: "Operation took too long"

Hi, I am currently developing a SharePoint application. Until recently I was able to deploy my application without any issues. However, I have been unable to deploy any custom application to SharePoint over the last couple of days. Installation of custom
applications now seems to hang for about 15 minutes before the server responds with an error message "The operation took too long." I am perplexed, as the deployment process has been working fine made I have made no major changes to my application.
Please let me know if you have any ideas!
    Thanks

    Hi Venktesh,
    Thanks for your prompt response.
Sorry I should have mentioned this earlier.
I am getting error at this line...
    p_clob := p_clob || UTL_RAW.cast_to_varchar2 (UTL_ENCODE.base64_encode (DBMS_LOB.SUBSTR (l_bfile, ncurrent_pointer, l_step)));
This loop runs for around 5 times i.e. 5000 * 4 = 20000 and then errors out after that.
If size of my image is below 23000, it works fine.
Still do you think it is related to BFILE. Actually BFILE operation works successfully for around 4 times.

  • Unable to Deploy App

    Running 11.1.2.0
Getting the following error deploying a Planning app
    ORA-03114: not connected to Oracle
    Error Code: com.hyperion.awb.web.common.DimensionServiceException
I restarted all the webservices with no luck. I also restarted the server itself with all the webapp stuff on it with no luck
Note: I can connect to the aplication through Navigate/Planning/App and it opens and makes a connection with Essbase
EPMA is also running as I can open the Application Library and Dimension Library.
I just can't deploy or validate an existing app and I can't create a new app either
One other telling thing is that in Essbase I can't create a app there either. It gives me a error
Error: 1051419 Essbase Application [TEST] Registration Fails against the Shared Services Server with Error [Saving file to Registry failed]
I got to believe that some service isn't function or functioning properly but I can't find it.
    Thanks in advance.

we had looked at the logs with not much luck
    We only found
    <Jun 22, 2011 1:47:40 PM EDT> <Warning> <JMX> <BEA-149510> <Unable to establish JMX Connectivity with the Adminstration Server AdminServer at <JMXServiceURL:null>.>
This was found in the HyS9EPMAWebTier-sysout.log

  • Deploying app.view in BPMA does not add dimensions/members to application

    Hello,
I've searched the forum for a solution to this problem, but I couldn't find any.
    Problem:
I'm working on Hyperion Planning 9.3.1.0.66, EPMA version is 9.3.1.0.0.73, Workspace version is 9.3.1.0.0.248. I've created a classic application that was later upgraded. Now, I need to make some changes to dimensions (add some generic dimensions) and add some members to an existing dimension. Everthing is set in workspace and added to the application view. Validation of the application view is successful, so is the deployment (both create outline and refresh outline were tested, in all combinations), however when I open the application, or verify the outline in Essbase, there is no changes in the outline (no new dimensions/dimension members added, etc.)
Does anyone know the reason for such application behaviour?
Is there any solution/fix to solve the problem?
    Best regards
    Marcin Stawny

    Hi,
I would definitely recommend patching EPMA and Planning to the latest patches, many issues have been addressed with EPMA and it is should always be the first steps if you have issues.
You can download the following patches from Metalink3
    8211868 - System 9 Release 9.3.1.1.10 Service Fix
    7305465 - EPMA 9.3.1.1.5 Service Fix
    7272558 - EPMA 9.3.1.1.4 Service Fix
    7209507 - EPMA 9.3.1.1.3 Service Fix
    7161248 - EPMA 9.3.1.1.2 Service Fix
    7227802 - EPMA 9.3.1.1 Service Pack
    7110941 - EPMA 9.3.1.1.1 Service Fix
They include readmes instructing on how to patch.
This maybe related to your issue which was fixed in patch 9.3.1.1.6
7117173 - You cannot incrementally deploy Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management Architect (EPMA) applications to Planning.

  • Unable to deploy composite view to Web Dynpro for VC 7.1 SP3

I have a sandbox set up to explore VC 7.1 - currently using VC 7.0 extensively.  I am using a very simple composite view example with a bapi, input and output form.  The R/3 box is defined and the bapi test works fine. When XGL is selected as runtime, the example compiles with no errors.  When Web Dynpro is selected as runtime, the following error occurs:
An exception at the server while running the build process:  Extension with id com.spa.vc.runtimeproviders.null not found.  For more details please refer to this log file.
I have reviewed the log file and have not found any help.  I have tried several different examples and the same error occurs.

Please ignore my issue.....I had selected incorrect option in EM console...
    thank you.

  • Unable to deploy App more than once, ClassLoader Issues

Here is a way to solve your problem.
    try to use
    Runtime.getRuntime().load(absolute_library_path);
However, make a copy of the library you tried to load and name it uniquely such
    as
    append the current miliseconds.
    After completed loading the library into the Runtime, new File(new_library_path).delete();
or you can try to use deleteOnExit() (createdTempFile instead).

I am working on a project that relies on the SAP Java Connector (JCO).
    This "connector"
consists of a JAR containing some Java classes, and some native platform
    libraries
(i.e. DLLs for Windows). The problem is I can only deploy the application
    once
on a running WL Server 7.0 node. If after the first deployment I remove
    the application
(via the WL server console) and try to redeploy, deployment works fine,
    but the
JVM will not be able to load the SAP JCO stuff... if fails on calling
    the native
    library with an ExceptionInInitializerError:
    java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: JCO.classInitialize(): Could not
    load middleware
    layer 'com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC' Native Library C:\WINDOWS\system32\sapjcorfc.dll
already loaded in another class loader
Based on this error message it appears that the class loader created
    for the previous
deployment still exists (even though the application is no longer deployed),
    and
therefore still has a hold on the native library (which apparently can't
    support
    multiple processes).
What I have to do is stop the server, start back up and then redeploy.
    This is
a very exhausing ordeal during development, and also leads to a not-very-flexible
    situation for production.
Does anyone know if there a way to terminate this other classloader instance
    while
    the server is running?
    Thanks,
    Bob

Does anybody has an idea what the problem could be and how to track it down?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Kostas
Thanks a lot for your help and hints! I am running Windows 7 64 Bit
I had Java 8, once with Release 20 and once with Release 25, installed - and thought that I pointed all to the newest version.
What helped in the end was to
    - deinstall all Javas
    - reboot
    - installed newest JDK, without the "Public JRE"
    - reboot
    - set JAVA_HOME and appended the Java-bin-dir to the path-Variable
    - reboot
    - installed a fresh version of Glassfish
    - configured a new Glassfish-Server on Eclipse
-> and now it runs perfectly!
Thanks again for your work and hints!

you are probably using a older version of 6.1. please use the latest service pack. Service Packs are mostly bug fix releases and they are safe to be upgraded even on production systems. Please note - we always recommend using the latest service pack

  • Unable to add scenario member to app view in EPMA

We have an EPMA application that uses Shared Scenario dimension. When we click on Show Excluded members it does not show anything as excluded (although it should). We are trying to add "No Scenario" member to the application view but it errors out with SVR_ERR_VIEW_FILTER_EXISTS. How can we fix this?
    Thank you

OK, I have found a workaround that is working for us:
    1.     Detach the Shared Dimension from the application
    2.     Remove all members from within the local dimension so there are no members left
    3.     Share the dimension, selecting to Merge as Shared with the dimension in the Shared Library. This puts all the members from the Shared Library into the dimension in the application
    4.     Instead of excluding all of the members before using Add to App View, we go directly to the Add to App View and select the members we want to include.
    5.     After clicking OK, the members show in the application as we selected in the Add to App View and as we expected. Looking at Top Members, this also shows correctly.
I believe this works because we aren’t excluding all top members right at the beginning. I am guessing that when I excluded the top members, it put a filter in that I couldn’t access that wouldn’t allow us to add back any top members from the Shared Library (members below the top level were OK though).
This does appear to be new in EPMA 11.1.1.3.500. In 11.1.1.3.04, I was able to exclude the members and add them back in using Add to App View.

  • Unable to update apps after 10.5 update

I have been unable to update apps on my iPhone since downloading iTunes 10.5.
I have an established connection in iTunes to my account and can download apps but when I when I click on "# Updates Available" I am asked to sign in again and then receive a message that the iTunes Store is unavailable and to try again later.
All system software is up to date and I have update my iOS to 5. I am able to connect to the store via my iPhone and update there but do not understand why I can't view the updates on my Mac.
    Please help

Please test after each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes. Keep in mind that no one here represents Apple or can help with customer-service issues.
    Step 1
A purchased app can only be updated by signing in to the App Store with the same Apple ID that was originally used to buy it. There's no way around that limitation, which also applies to free apps. If you can't sign in with the buyer's ID, delete the app and reinstall it. You'll have to pay for it again, if applicable.
    Step 2
If you get the alert when trying to update a bundled iLife app, select the Purchases page in the App Store and locate the app in your purchase history. If there's a button marked ACCEPT on the right, click it.
If you have a used Mac, the bundled apps were linked to the original owner's Apple ID and can't be transferred to you. Reportedly, customer service has issued redemption codes to some second owners who asked, but it's not guaranteed.
    Step 3
If you're trying to update iLife or iWork apps that were installed from a purchased DVD, or if you have a refurbished Mac bought directly from Apple, contact App Store customer service for a redemption code. You may be asked for the part number of the DVD.
    Step 4
From the App Store menu bar, select
              Store ▹ View My Account
Enter your Apple ID password at the prompt. At the lower right corner of the window that opens, click the Reset button. Close the window.
    Step 5
According to a report, the error can result from changing the language setting of your Apple ID account. I can't confirm.

I am simply copying to the sdcard and then using Install It to try and install the .apk
I read something where the guy said he'd only seen that when you compiled for an os version higher than what the phone has. I have 2.1 on my phone and not sure how I find out what verison I am compiling for, or how to change it...
Update: just tried the .apk on a co-workers phone with 2.2 and he get's the same parse error...

  • "Unable to download App. App could not be downloaded at this time"

On my registered iPad, the "free" iPhoto and iMovies are listed in my purchased Apps but when I try to download them it says "Unable to download App. App could not be downloaded at this time"  I tried rebooting and logging out of the App Store and back in. No luck

    Hi Dellie909,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
The articles below may be able to help you with this.
About Free Apple Apps for iOS 7 compatible devices
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5913
iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are free on the App Store for qualifying iOS 7 compatible devices activated or purchased after September 1, 2013.
The first time you launch the App Store in iOS 7 on your qualifying new or factory refurbished iOS device, you will be offered iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for free in addition to other free software from Apple. When you tap Download All and sign in with your Apple ID, the apps will download to your device and appear in your store account. If you tap Not Now when you see the offer, you can search for the apps in the store and download them one at a time for free.
Note: If you aren't connected to WiFi when you accept the apps, any apps larger than 100MB will download when you have a WiFi connection.
If your new qualifying device came with iOS 6 installed, you will be offered the apps after you update to iOS 7.
If you already purchased and downloaded all the apps, they won't be available for free. You will, however, be eligible to download the updated versions.
If you have a computer, you can view your iTunes Store account and request assistance by following the instructions below:
iTunes Store & Mac App Store: Seeing your purchase history and order numbers

I hope this information helps ....
    Happy Holidays!
