WLST : To create SAF Agent targeted on Migratable servers

I am trying to write wlst to create SAF Agent targeted on Migratable servers on existing file store and jms server.
cmo.createSAFAgent('SAFAgent');
safagent = cmo.lookupSAFAgent('SAFAgent');
safagent.setStore(saffilestore);
safagent.setServiceType('Sending-only');
cmo = cd('/SAFAgents/SAFAgent')
cmo.setTargets(jarray.array([ObjectName('com.bea:Name='jeem1 (migratable)',Type=MigratableTarget ')],Class.forName(weblogic.management.configuration.TargetMBean)))
I am getting error javax.management.invalidattributevalueexception array has at least one null element
Can somebody please help? Or can somebody let me know how to target SAFAgent to migratable target using wlst

If you are not aware of how SAP works you should be carefull to use any non-SAP tooling. For instance if you want to change anything to the database you'd better use the SAP-tooling, otherwise SAP checks will complain. But if you just want to use OEMGC to monitor a SAP database (or more SAP db's) that will give no issues. SAP does not support the use OEMGC for other purposes but monitoring (SAP note 828268). Be aware that SAP has it's own monitoring tooling(CCMS), so you will introduce extra overhead using OEMGC.
I advice you to first get familiar with Oracle in a SAP environment. As a starting point you could use http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/ora.
If you need a un/pw ask your SAP-team.

  • SAF Agent on WebLogic Server 10.3.5

We have 2 applications hosted on weblogic server 9.2 MP3 server instances running on separate boxes. A SAF Agent configured on one instance is used to forward messages between the applications. We are planning to upgrade the server to WL 10.3.5 where SAF is configured. We may also have a SAF agent on WLS 9.2 side that will send mesages to destination on WLS 10.3.5. Will this transition pose any problems as far as configuring a SAF Agent is concerned given the fact that the messages has to be exchanged between different versions of weblogic?

    Hi bud,
Have you tried using WLST for what you are trying to achieve?
Please take a look at the following links:

  • Undestanding the OSM-AIA integration with SAF agent for RODOD 11gr2.

    Hello all,
As we don't yet manage the sending of sales orders from AIA 11.1 to OSM 7.2, I looking for some information about the way AIA and OSM may be integrated with SAF agents.
During the installation of the O2A cartridges in Design Studio, the SAF agent has been choosed against the JMS bridge approach.
    So in OSM's WebLogic domain,
    - a SAF agent is created
    - JMS resources are created in the oms module:
    -      a Remote SAF Context describing the way to be connected to the AIA's weblogic instance
    - the remote imported destintations i.e.:
    AIA_CRTBO_OUT_JMSQ
         AIA_CRTCUST_OUT_JMSQ
         AIA_CRTFO_OUT_JMSQ
         AIA_CRTTTREQ_JMSQ
         AIA_FOPROV_OUT_JMSQ
         AIA_LFERROR_JMSQ
         AIA_UPDSO_OUT_JMSQ
         AIA_UPDTTREQ_JMSQ
Sending an order from Siebel to AIA fills an AIA_FOPROV_IN_JMSQ on the AIA database which seems to be not consumed because on the OSM side, no order is ssen in the oms_ws_requests queue.
So, we are wondering if the Order to cash PIP in AIA is incomplete or not. Should be a SAF-agent in AIA to send orders to OSM? Should we complete the current SAF-Agent in OSM to receive and send messages to AIA?
To integrate ASAP or UIM to OSM, it is recommended to define a SAF-Agent in OSM to send messages and a SAF-Agent in ASAP/UIM to reply to OSM. It lets me think that our AIA installation is incomplete.
On the other side, when JMS bridges are used in OSM in 7.0.2, a bridge called created AIA_2_CFS_CreateOrder_is defined to locate and consume the remote JMS queue AIA_CRTFO_IN.
In conclusion, we'd like some explanations on the way to integrate as well as possible AIA and OSM in a SAF context. It will help use quite a lot.
    Many thinks in advances.
    Regards,
    Christophe.

    Hi
On OSM side should exist SAF agent for sending messages to AIA queue's and same on AIA side for sending to OSM queue's. You can even combine SAF agaent on one direction and bridge's in another direction but you'll have to do it manually in that case.
If you see message in AIA queue and not forwarding to OSM I would first check SAF agent on AIA side ( usr/pass + remote destination (OSM) )
    best regards

  • HT4889 I have accidentally created another account when using Migration Assistant to a new MBA. How do I now 'migrate' all the files from both accounts into one to save myself having two accounts, both of which are me? Help?

I have accidentally created another account when using Migration Assistant to a new MBA. I have read that I probably should not have skipped migration in the initial set up and the problem would have been avoided but, alas, here I am. Does anyone know how I can 'migrate' all the files from one of the accounts that has been created to the other, so then I can delete it and have a single user on the computer seeing as I am the only person using it? I have read starting again, if this is the way to go, where is the best place to start 'starting again'?

Yes definitely should see it but its not coming up (I don't think) when I log out of 2nd user and into the main account. Opening finder in the 2nd account, I can obviously find the public folder because thats where I dropped all the files, but when in the main account, it can't be found. The only public folder that comes up is the folder for that account (main account) and it does not display files I'm looking for. Frustrating....
EDIT: Have found it through a round-about way but all music and photo and movie etc files have a red stop sign disallowing them from being transferred. Can you guess what the next question will be?

    Hi folks,
Always I tried to create a new Target Schema using OWB Runtime Assistant, installing into a new user schema or into an existing user schema I've got a Target Schema Installation Error. The log file shows the following error lines:

I've installed both OWB Design Time and OWB Server Side, in the same machine using 2different Oracle_Homes.
Please, tell me what I can do to overcome this.
    Thanks all,
    Ismael

    Hi Pierre,
    Thank you for your response.
Actually, I've installed the OWB Server Side because I was getting the same problem using the OWB Run Time Assistant of the OWB Design Time that I've installed before. In the OWBInstallGuide I read the following text, recommending not to use the same Oracle_Home:
"2.5 Step 4. Perform the OWB Server Side Install using Oracle Universal Installer
Install the OWB Server Side components on the machine where your Oracle Database Server is installed.
When you performed the OWB Design Time installation, you also installed the runtime components. Therefore, if you are performing the OWB Server Side install on the same machine as the OWB Design Time install, you are installing the runtime components twice. If you decide to go forward with this configuration, make sure to specify a separate ORACLE_HOME for each install."
Any way I'm going to try your suggestion but I'm afraid it couldn't work because of the above text. I'm running out of time, I'm supposed to start a project next Monday and I'm stuck on this problem.
Please, if you have any other hints let me know. I'll keep you informed after using the same Oracle_Home for both.
    Thanks again,
    Ismael

  • Can someone pls Help me: How to create a Fake target table(Dummy)  in DAC

    Hi There,
Can someone pls Help me in creating a Fake target table(Dummy) in DAC?
    Thanks,
    Raghu

    Raghu
You need to create a task so that you can hook sources and targets together.
First, Design --> Tables tab --> New --> Below 'Edit' -->Table Type (Source) for your source tables.
Design --> Tables tab --> New --> Below 'Edit' -->Check warehouse and Table Type (Fact or Fact Temporary) for your target tables.

  • The User-Agent "Java/1.5.0_06" is unknown;creating an agent with null agent

    Hello,
We're currently on JDeveloper 10.1.3.4.0.4270. We just release a new version of our web app into production. This is an internal web application. application server is weblogic 10. The weblogic log is showing alot of these warning messages. I tried search on this forum and in google but unable to find any information. I really appreciate if anyone has any idea what could be causing these warning. Our users are constantly getting sent back to the login page to to user sessions lost.

  • User created SQL Agent Job that uses linked server with Windows authentication

OK, here's what I want to do, but not sure exactly what I need to accomplish it.
    Environment
    Windows 2008 Enterprise
    SQL 2012 Enterprise
SQL Server & SQL Agent running under AD account (which has local Windows Administrative privileges...yes, I know..bad!)
Linked server to Teradata utilizing AD account mappings (the linked server works successfully and each windows login is mapped to a Teradata LDAP login)
    Requirement
Allow non sysadmins to create SQL Agent jobs which execute TSQL statements which use OPENQUERY(LDAPLinkedServer, '....) syntax
I've already given the non sysadmins the necessary permissions to create and run SQL Agent jobs, and I understand that the jobs run under their login context, but I suspect that I'm missing something when it comes to the linked server.
Each windows user could have access to different databases/tables on the Teradata system that even I (the SQL Server sysadmin) don't have access to.
How can I facilitate this functionality?  Any ideas?

I think I may have been over complicating the Teradata piece.  The authentication methodology in Teradata is LDAP, which just means that it authenticates against AD, but you still have to submit your Windows login & password.  It doesn't automatically
authenticate you just because you're logged into Windows.
The linked server has the mapping for the individual windows logins like:
    Local Login = <domain>.<windows id>
    Remote User = <windows id>
    Remote Password = <windows password>
This setup requires the user to have to change the passwords in the linked server whenever they change their passwords according to domain policy (every xx days)...but we've created a utility proc that they can use to do this.
So, I'm thinking that Teradata isn't really part of this equation.

  • How to create an agent like a task

    Hi EH&S Gurus
In the EH&S documentation it's said that we can create an agent like a task from the Organizational Management (PA-OS) component.
I 'm new to EH&S and in don't find the way to do it.
In the customizing we have a TASK agent type but we can't create a it with transaction CBIH92.
    From the help.sap.com :
"An agent can, for example, be a specification, a material, or a task from the Organizational Management (PA-OS) component."
Thanks a lot for your help
    Samuel

    Hi Samuel,
You can get create an Agent as a Task by using the following steps:
    1. Go to Customizing --> EHS --> Industrial Hygiene & safety --> Risk Assessment --> Specify Agent Types
    2. Click on "TASK' Agent type and click on Details icon (CtrlShiftF2)
    3. In the "Only EHS-IHS" drop down, Select "No"
    4. Save the entry
    5. Now try creating an Agent [CBIH92] and you can create an Agent as a Task.
    Hope it Helps,

  • Trigger message if file is created successfully at target

    Hi Experts,
I have proxy-file scenario. My requirement is that when file is created successfully at target, I have to send message that it has been created.
Please suggest me how it can be achieved

Trigger message if file is created successfully at target
Interface Determinations will just ensure that the message has been successfully created in XI (IE) and not in the target folder.....Interface Determination wont be able to know if sending file to Target Folder failed in AE (in channel).
One way would be make use of BPM and the Transport Acknowledgement property of the Send step....get the ACK indication and decide if the file has been created or not.....then apply further logic.
Lets wait for expert comments for a non-BPM solution (which even I would prefer in this case)
It is not sure how you have to send a message, it can be via mail or sending file again
This has to be confirmed from your business folks on how the ACK is to be sent!
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • Device Target vs. Agent Targeting Rules

    Hello folks,
As you are aware Cisco officially stated that Device Targets are depreciated as of UCCE 9.0 and have recommended the use of Agent Targeting Rules as opposed to the legacy Device Target method.
I was wondering if there is any situation where we are still required to use Device Targets as opposed to Agent Targeting rules ?
I am about to test Mobile agent with Agent Targeting Rule in my Lab, but other than that I have seen pretty much everything else function as normal when using Agent Targeting Rules.
I will post my results on the Mobile agent with Agent Targeting Rules by this weekend, I am guessing there shouldnt be any issues.
In the meanwhile, let me know in your experience you have found any interesting scenarios where Device Targets are the only way to go. I also need to test Outbound Dialer and Target rules for those, if I end up configuring these in lab and testing it fast enough I will post the results, but feel free to pitch in your experience/ recommendations and so forth.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Sash

Thanks for the feedback, thats what I thought and Yes you are correct, now that I think about it I have used Targeting rules in 8.5. Didn't realize it was out as far back as 7.5.
Once again thank you for your feedback.
