WMF files for .tdr files

Hi, I am getting the reports in Diadem for which i already have a code.
I have sample1.tdr, sample2.tdr which is a base for all reports getting generated and converting the plots to pdf file.
I want to have the same pdf files converted to wmf files.. how can i do that..

Hi Brad,
The file name of each wmf file, I have given their respective channel names. When i get a dump of all WMF files after execution of my script, each file names are different with all channel names in my data portal.(See the attached image).
But the plot(Curve) inside it, channel name eveything inside the plot, mean when i open the wmf file only, I can make out all contents are same(Overritten) as first curve.
Sorry I cannot post the data set to the forum..

In Photoshop, you just change the image mode in the Image > Mode menu. Pretty basic stuff. You might want to spend some time reading some manuals to get the most of all the money you're paying.

Not able to create EAR file for WAR file extracted project

Hi Experts,
I am trying to import a WAR file, make changes to the project and create an EAR file for the same. I am not able to remove import
errors despite of adding required jar files to it.
Also, I am not able to create an EAR file for the same.
I have copied the steps here with screen shots. Below are the steps :
Import WAR file in NWDS 7.3 – Enterprise Portal perspective
Select WAR file to create WAR and EAR project for it.
Project created with import errors. e.g – com.sapportals.portal.prt*
Found jar file from Class – target jar file table.
e.g – for Class com.sapportals.portal.prt.resource.IResource needed jar file is tc~epbc~prt~api.jar
Copied required jar files in WEB-INF -> lib folder.
Configure Build path and Add External jars.

I think errors should go now, but they still exist.
Next I right click on WAR project and tried updating related EAR project.
Next, Export EAR file from EAR project.
I have tried both EAR types.
But EAR file is not created.
Please help me in removing the errors.

I feel that you're missing JAR dependencies and hence not able to resolve the above import errors.

Why doesn't Lightroom 4 create xmp files for mov files?

This would be useful for moving files to other applications and databases. As far as I can tell Adobe doesn't share any metadata for .mov files between any of it's CS6 programs either, Bridge, Prelude, Premiere, etc. As a still photographer who is now shooting DSLR video I want to get metadata entered as soon as possible for my still and video files. It would be best to do both stills and video at the same time. Camera Bits Photo Mechanic is the only program I've found so far that does this. Canto Cumulus is able to read Photo Mechanic's xmp files. I don't really need Photo Mechanic in my workflow except for this issue.

We are migrating documents from a legacy system for use within KM within a repository via the SAP enterprise Portal. I am testing if the SAP Enterprise Portal can handle the documents that the legacy system can handle.

Does the last updated backup in Time Machine have all my files for "standard" file copy? (i want to copy and paste files to another computer that doesn't have TM)

My personal Macbook pro died, but I did have a Time Machine backup. I have a new iMac that I would like to use as a family computer. I would like to transfer some files to the new computer (and set-up a new Time Machine backup), but archive the remainder on a non-TM drive. I was planning to:
1. File copy my last backup folder from my old TM drive to the new computer
2. Copy (and then delete) the files I want to archive on another HD drive
3. Wipe clean my current TM drive
4. Set-up TM on my new computer
Is this a good way to proceed?
Is copying the last backup folder (vs. all backup folders) enough to move my files over?
Any better approaches appreciated!

I suggest you visit MicroCenter and go to there Apple section and ask one of there guys if they are still offering the 2 terabyte Backup For the iMac, Mine was only $100.00.
So the iMac has Time machine plus the USB 2 Terabyte Backup for less than your $130.00

How to change a rss.xml file for m3u file for my podcast

I actually produce as well a podcast with unless 3 mp3 file,and that's ok ... But, on one of my post, I stream a playlist to a page of my website , and I noticed, after generating a playlist from my player when streaming (.m3u file)... I notice that I can play it in i tunes in a continuing stream (I can connect from this file in itunes on another post to my stream (note that I use a static IP from my access provider, in order to a stable connection to my web site - without using No IP) ...
My question is,as the application recognizing the file and playing it,how to configure my rss.xml for this type of file(*.m3u)...

I don't think you are going to be able to do this: podcasts are not intended to contain streams or playlists, only specific audio or video files. The fact that the iTunes Application can connect to it doesn't mean that it will work in a podcast feed. However if you want to ask iTunes Support for advice it's at at

Anyone know the syntax for printing-to-file for the file name in windows? Tried the following and it did not work...C:\Documents and Settings\Cal\My Documents\FolderForPrinting but I also put it in small quotes.

Multiple FTP server files for sender File adoptor

we have a requirement to pick files from different FTP servers and send it as a proxy message to ECC.File structure format for both FTP server locations is same and I need to send as a same proxy message.

Here you are having two FTP Server to pick the files so that you need to create below list of objects.
For two different FTP Server you need to create two different sender systems
2 sender File channels
2 sender agreements
2 receiver determinations
2 interface determinations(use single inbound interface in both interface determinations)
2 receiver agreement
If you want to use single sender then
2 sender File channels
2 sender agreements
2 receiver determinations
2 interface determinations(use single inbound interface in both interface determinations)
1 receiver agreement

I want to create a file,which conform to the standard PDF/A.
when i use InDesign to create a pdf file and export it,i find the file format only support PDF/X,
but i can't find any menu for PDF/A.

Choose Adobe PDF as your printer
Go to Setup
Go to preferences
Choose the standard
Make sure the rest of your settings are correct for the page size etc.

you can use foreachloop for that. It has an option called recursive. So just point it to parent level folder and give recursive option and it will go through all folders

Backup files for XML files?

Hi, I will like to check what the files needed to backup the xml files in XML DB Repository? e.g *.dbf files?

You can't export xmldb schema. Have you tried? It won't work. I've tried.
Your xml documents should get stored in the table object you created from your schema definition. The data is really what you want to backup. Most likely it is stored in a schema other then the xmldb schema.
Problem with exporting this table object owner schema is if the schema is registered then the ora-19007 comes up even if you use the sys schema to export and attempt to import it.
My understanding is if you don't register a schema then export/import will work, but I would seriously test this prior to using it as a backup for the xml docs.
A whole database backup in my opinion is the best solution on 9.2.0.5. I don't know about 10g. I can't upgrade at this time to test.

Want to create and exe file for .java files

I am making a multi-threaded console application.
It also takes command line parameters from user.
I want to create .exe files out of .java files.
Note:- One class contains main method (in default package) and all other classes are in some specific package
I want to create an exe for the whole application.
The solutions which i get on net is exe4j but i was unable to use it.
Please suggest me to create an windows executable file out of java files.

by definition, if you double click on the .exe , you won't pass it parameters
you have to launch a shell, reach the directory where the .exe (or .jar) is stored, and launch the exe directly with parameters, e.g:
myApplication.exe -u user -p password
you can't double click on the exe and say "ok, i give you -u -p!" ; everything has to be done simultaneously if your app is using the "String [] args" arguments of main
if you want to specify parameters after launching the app, you have to grab user input in your main

Need to add alphabet coordinates in xml file for typewriter file

I have a flash typewriter file which displays text that is
preloaded inside the flash file. It has an animated pencil that
"draws" out each character. It gets it's letter coordinates from an
xml file and I would like to add a few more symbols so it would
draw them out. How do I get started on figuring this out. The
coordinates in the xml file must have been generated by some kind
of software because I can't imagine the author of this file hand
wrote each one. I tried to contact the author but I think they're
too busy or not interested.

Hi Frantzy,
The link does not give enough explanation. What I am assuming is if you have xml string in one field then if you need to add new line after each tag then you can follow that.
If you want a udf where you want to insert a new line use this udf:
Create a Value UDF with one input argument 'a' and name the udf as addnewline. Then add this code:
Imports: java.*;
String lines;
lines = "";
lines = lines.concat(a + '\n' );
return lines;
Then where ever you want a new line just add this udf in your mapping. If you want a new line for 10 fields then you can put in all the 10 fields.
Example:
Source field --> logic --> udf (addnewline) --> target.
So after logic if you have the value as 123 then in the target you will see 123 followed by a carriage return.
