Word Templates for Office:mac

I am trying to locate the Legal templates for MS word that are compatable with Office:mac.
My search of the Microsoft downloads website came up with nothing. In fact the few templates I found were more along the lines of novelties rather than the full blown templates downloads.
Does anyone know where the legal Pleadings/Forms templates are found? I am particularly interested in where the case-builder programs are.
Thanks,
Doug

MS Word templates are usable on both platforms Windows and Macintosh.
For example I downloaded the Pleadings form located here;
Pleading form with 32 lines
after expanding the form with Stuffit Expander it opened right up in Word for Mac.
When you first hit the download button you will see another page that tells you your system isn't compatible. It isn't talking about the template, it is talking about the Windows BS built into the MS website for automatic downloading. Just hit the download button on that page and your file will download in the Safari Download manager.

  • I cannot find the icon for office:mac 08 word on my doc, where did it go?

    I cannot find the icon for Office: mac 08 word on my doc. I downloaded the whole Office: mac 2008 Home & Student Edition about a year ago and just recently the word icon disappeared. The other Office icons are still visible and i am able to use them but i cannot find the word application anywhere.

    Have you used spotlight search? Typed "word" and the application doesn't appear? If it doesn't then it probably isn't around anymore.... so hit command + space ... and type "word"... what happens?

  • Excel/Word viewer for the Mac?

    Is there a free viewer for excel & word docs for the mac as I can't open my attachments in mail?

    I have a Macbook Pro Mac OS X (10.5.5) bought in July 2008 will open office work?
    Yes. NeoOffice, suggested by another poster, is pretty well the same, but may run more slowly: OpenOffice in its latest version runs directly on Leopard (rather than requiring X11 like its earlier versions). It will allow you to edit and save the documents in a MS-compatible format should you require this. Both programs are free.

  • ADM template for office and AD - Group policy

    Hi,
    I need to enforce English (UK) as the editing language in office application (2010 & 2013).
    I have downloaded the ADM template saved it on C drive on the AD server.
    Then I loaded the ADM template for office to a GOP which I created on test basis and added an AD user to it.
    On the template I enabled the setting for primary editing language as English (UK) .
    on the client side , when I open an office application eg outlook or word, I can still see English (US) as the set language.
    what am I doing wrong ?
    also how do I use the ADMX template ? because when from the GPO editor I try to browse add the its template the window show blank.

    Hi,
    From Windows 2008 R2, the current version of Administrative Template files are ADMX files. The GPMC displays these settings under the Administrative Templates node.
    However, the GPMC still recognizes ADM files and displays these settings under the Classic Administrative Templates node, which is a child node to Administrative Templates .
    Checkout the below link on installing ADM files,
    Add or Remove Classic Administrative Templates
    Checkout the below on adding the Office 2010 ADMX files in to GPMC,
    Adding the admx files from Office 2010 admin templates into your GPMC

  • How can I add barcode to my word template for PDF ?

    I must use a Barcode in my personal card template in MS word.
    Barcode properties must be;
    bcCode 39, checksum (enable - csmModulo10)
    If I preview my template in RTF template, it works. Hovewer when I run PDF preview, I couldn't take a barcode output.
    How can I add a barcode to my word template for PDF ???

    I will put the barcode font file to OA_JRE_TOP/jre/lib/fonts and I will create xdo.cfg file at this path OA_JRE_TOP/jre/lib. I will add below code to xdo.cfg
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>
    <config version="1.0.0" xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/config/">
    <!-- XML Publisher configuration file. -->

    <!-- (web node and concurrent nodes) named as xdo.cfg -->
    <!-- Properties -->
    <properties>
    <!-- Temporary directory -->
    <!-- Specify temporary directory. $APPLTMP directory -->

    <!-- On concurrent node, $APPLTMP will be used by -->
    <!-- default. -->
    <property name="system-temp-dir">/disk1/oracle/app/ERPcomn/temp</property> -- I used my own path
    </properties >
    <fonts>

  • Can I get Macrosoft windows with excel and Outlook express.  I have the disk for office mac for my mac book.  Can I install that disk to an Ipad 2?

    I have Office Mac for home and office.  Can I use the same installation disk on an Ipd2?

    I suggest checking out the app: QuickOffice. It's $14.99 and gives you full compatability to MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint to read, edit and create files. Pair it with the free app "DropBox" to easily transfer files back and forth between your iPad and your desktop.

  • Default font and size for office mac O8. I prefer Times New Roman, size 12

    I have OS 10 and Word Office Mac : 2008. I prefer using generally Times New Roman, size 12 but sometimes for some applications something called Calumbria (spelling?) comes up ... and then I have to search for in the long list for Times New Roman.
    95 % of the time Times New Roman comes up and I it is fine but sometimes with new documents then I get this Calumbria thing that I don't want. Any help would be most appreciated. I hope my question makes sense.

  • Should I upgrade to Lion or stick to Snow for Office:mac use?

    I got a macbook pro 13" without the Lion upgrade, and I want to install Office for Mac. I just use this computer for research, papers and web surfing. Should I install Office:mac 2008 with Rosetta, or upgrade to Lion and get the Office:mac 2011?

    I think i need to correct my provious post.  It seems that Office 2008 does require Rosetta, but only during the installation process.  If you install Office 2008 on a Snow Leopard Mac and later upgrade to Lion, it will still work.  If you need to install Office on a Lion Mac you will need to to use 2011.

  • How come my notes on outlook for office Mac not syncing to iPad 2

    Hi folk,
    I am a bit curious as to why when I created notes within outlook 2011 ( office Mac 2011) I don't see them on my iPad device?
    On my iPad/cloud services/ notes sync is on
    Also under settings/ notes "iCloud" is checked
    What am I missing here ?
    Thanks in advance...
    Rich

    First, keep in mind that Notes in Outlook is not the same as the Notes in Mountain Lion (in terms of applications).
    Notes in Outlook sync with Exchange.  On the iMac, you can sync the Notes app with Exchange, so you will see your Outlook notes in the Mac Notes App (in addition to any iCloud notes you have).  To set that up, go to Settings, Mail Contacts Calendars, and select your Exchange account.  Check the box next to Notes.  Now if you go into the Mac Notes app, you will see you have two Accounts, an iCloud account and your Exchange account, each showing the respective notes.
    Now, on the iPad, things are a bit different at present.  Here, you can only sync your iCloud notes.  Under iOS 5, it is not possible to sync notes from Exchange anymore.  Hopefully this will be addressed in iOS 6 coming out this Fall.
    One workaround I've used for the omission of syncing Notes from Exchange on the iPad is to instead turn them into Tasks in Outlook.  Under ML and Exchange, Reminders syncs with Tasks in Outlook, so you will be able to see those Tasks in the Reminders App on both your iMac/ML and your iPad.

  • What is similar to word (pc) for a mac...on a budget?

    what is comparable to ms office for mac that is cheaper?  i am basically looking for word.
    any input would be appreciated

    You can purchase all three for $79.

    I'll disagree with this statement:
    Apple's Pages app for word processing, Numbers app for spread sheets, and Keynote for presentations with all compatible with the Office equivalents.
    Formatting in Word translates poorly to Pages, saving files in Word format is also a multi rather than one step process, in my opinion they are no better (purely in the MS Office compatibility stakes) than the free alternatives already mentioned, which do not require you to take extra steps to get a .doc file.

  • Easily editable document flow template for office use?

    Sorry for the cryptic title, but i'm not sure how to ask this question.
    I have a client who current uses Publisher to maintain a daily changing document that has a thumbnail image and some text for lots of items for sale. There are also multiple categories these items are listed under. I'd like to create an InDesign document (template) that would replace the old doc, but would make it so that an average office worker could be trained a little on it and then could update it and print it daily without blowing up the layout or the design of it.
    Specifically, you have about 12 section headers. Each one could have from 0 to 25 items in each. It could fluctuate dramatically from day to day. If there is nothing in one of the categories, i'd like to at least have a placeholder example item there, but it's not going to take up much space.
    So...help? I just don't want to over-complicate the process for the office staff, but I want to increase the quality of the output dramatically as well.
    Thanks,
    Eric

    This might be overkill in this particular situation, but this is exactly the type of scenario for which many will use InDesign server, front-ended with a web client to merge designated content into a template and ultimately yield a PDF file for either display, print, or both!
    The problem of a “typical office worker” using InDesign is that it has a very steep learning curve and there is so much that can go wrong (not that this can't and doesn't happen with Microsoft Publisher or Word as well)!
    One other possibililty would be either a script and/or custom plug-in for InDesign to perform the daily fill-in and/or replacement with minimal user interaction.
