Wordpress site tries to install again, even after already being installed

Hi there!
So I have a Wordpress site hosted as a "website" with Azure through their gallery. It has been up and running for several months now without an issue. However recently, every so often when I go to the site I am prompted with the "Wordpress
Install" page. Where I am asked to create an account, give the site a name, etc.
This is a bit scary given that I've already done all of this and don't want to risk overwriting my current installation. Furthermore, if I refresh the page a few times, the site loads as expected. Right now the site is in "Free" mode,
but we'll soon be transitioning to a "paid" version when we launch and I don't want to risk having the install screen appearing when we're "live"
Any thoughts on what could be going on here?

Here are some things you can try with WordPress on Azure:
1. Clear caching plugin caches if you have them loaded in wordpress
2. Stop Azure website
3. FTP in and rename file: http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php
4. Clear your browser cache
5. Close and re-open browser
6. Start Azure website
Give that a shot and see if it resolves the issue. I don't think WordPress looks for their install.php after the initial, but I could be wrong, if so you'll need to put it back in the mix.

If it is doing it while your device is plugged in, it is because it is set to automatically sync. Please go to: Preferences>Devices, and select the option to "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically." Also, I hate to be "that guy", but you spelt extremely wrong. Just a pro tip.

My ipad mini keeps rebooting over and over again, even after a total reset. what to do?

Hello people,
I have my ipad mini since christmas 2012 and it was working like a charm.
But a few weeks ago it rebooted out of nowhere, and now it reboots like every 5 minutes average.
Sometimes it wont boot up properly and boot 3 times in a row, i sometimes even have to force it to reboot by holding the home+lock button.
I reset my ipad and then restored from a back up but it didn't stop.
Today I reset mty ipad again without restoring from anything, just blanc, like out of the box, installed facebook and youtube app and a few minutes later it rebooted again.
I think i've tried anything but maybe you can help me.

it crashed on me like before and it roebooted a couple times, i watched tv for like an hour.
now im back i see that my ipad gave a blue screen :'(
i had to share this with you guys and the rest of the communitity
i think i dont have to wait for ios7 -_-

Safari opens Tabs again, even after quitting them!

Hi guys,
I'm having some annoying troubles with Safari for about 2 weeks now...
When I quit Safari, it should normally reload all my last opened pages (f.ex: google, facebook,apple and twitter), but instead it ALLWAYS reopens the same 2 tabs (some minecraft site + facebook). this is pretty annoying because it does not go away. I've allready tried everything... closing tabs with cmd-W before quitting safari, checking and unchecking the "reopen windows" setting (wich btw rechecks itself after I quit an reopen "system preferences").
anyone out there having the same problem?

Back up all data if you haven’t already done so. Before proceeding, you must be sure you can restore your system to the state it’s in now. If you skip this step, no one but you will be responsible for the consequences.
Quit Safari if it’s running.
Select /Applications/Safari in the Finder and open the Info window. There’s a checkbox in that window labeled “Open in 32-bit mode.” If that box is checked, uncheck it. Close the window.
Hold down the option key and select Go > Library from the Finder menu bar. Delete the following items from the folder that opens (some may not exist):
Caches/com.apple.Safari
Caches/Metadata/Safari
Saved Application State/com.apple.Safari.savedState
Try Safari again. If it still doesn’t work right, quit again and move the following file to the Desktop:
Safari/Bookmarks.plist
Then delete the following items (some may not exist):
Cookies/Cookies.binarycookies
Cookies/Cookies.plist
Preferences/com.apple.Safari.LSSharedFileList.plist
Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist

Safari
Try again. This time Safari should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. Select File > Import Bookmarks from the Safari menu bar. Import from the bookmarks file you moved to the Desktop. Recreate the rest of your Safari settings. You can then delete the old bookmarks file.

Firefox no longer works on two important sites, tried re-installing...

When I go to the site chesscube.com, a big and secure chess site have been playing on for years the login process ends with a gray screen which shows nothing. When I go to ABC News site for video replays the 'loading' process sticks and just keeps saying 'loading.' I started by clearing cache, cookies, etc. AT&T agent suggested re-installing, which I had already done recently. Currently have Firefox 25.
Operating system Vista.

In case the update trigger a new add-on incompatibility, could you try the sites in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled ''(Flash will still work)''
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)

Sometimes when I minimize my Firefox window (I always have lots of tabe open), I can't maximize again, even after rebooting.

I usually run Firefox with many windows open. Sometimes when I minimize the Firefox screen, I can't maximize it again. Rebooting doesn't help.

How do you get photostream to stop trying to upload photos, even after resetting it.

I am trying to stop photostream from uploading my photos. I've gone into iCloud and reset photostream several times. Each time I go back to iPhoto, it starts uploading the photos again. It is continually running on the computer. Any suggestions would be great.

If you want to turn off the photostream feature, you can do so by going on your iOS device in the Settings > iCoud and switch off photostream.
The reset in iCloud is to, well, reset the photostream.

Why does firefox call IP 208.53.130.221 on startup? Even with blank page? And keeps trying the same address even after is shut down? No other browsers does it!

I can see it via my firewall log; checked for malware, nothing found. It's like Firefox is trying to report somewhere, and it's always the same IP address. I even stopped using firefox all together. Opera doesn't display the same problem, neither does the IE, so this is firefox related.
Even though I have 3.5.2 now, this is a roll back from the later version - I thought it might be related to later updates, but no, 3.5.2 does the same thing.

It's the forums that make the image tiny, if you do a right-click > copy shortcut, you can then paste it into a new tab, which will let you see the full size image. It's a 3360x1050 image, maybe a bit big for the forums.
Basically though, the left image is IE, and that shows an error box. The centre image is Opera, and that shows an empty screen. The right image is FF, and that is how it should look.
If it's a machine specific error, then I can't work out why it is on several machines in my house... very odd.

I am getting all of my emails again even after I delete them

I delete all of my emails and then empty my trash but the next time I check my email, I get all of my messages from the last two weeks....even those that have been completely deleted.

This happens sometimes when you connect to your ISP, and it regurgitates previous email messages. If it happens once, there's no reason for concern. If it happens frequently...that's another thing.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

ITouch 4th gen. wont turn on at all, after already being used.

So i am 15 and i got my brand new 32g iTouch 4th gen for Christmas. Iv had past iPod's so i already knew how to add songs, and what not. My songs are already on the iPod and everything has been working great. I was just on the internet showing my mom this storage bin on kmart, after that i closed down the internet, and pressed the lock button at the top. I then wanted to show her this picture on my lock screen, so i went to turn it on/unlock it, and nothing worked! I tried pressing the lock button, and the home button. I also tried holding each. I also tried connecting it to my computer to see if it would work. It did not. Its stuck on a black screen. Please help!

Ok i fixed it!! I texted my best friend Ivan. (: You hold down both the lock and home button. As soon as the apple pops up, let go. (or else your data will be erased) then, i let it do its own thing for about 30 seconds and it turned on! yay!(:

How do I edit a WordPress site in Dreamweaver?

I found a pretty good article on how to install WordPress to a localhost and run a site made locally on a test server through Dreamweaver (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/dw_wordpress_pt1.html), but it leaves a lot unanswered. Like...
1. Okay, now I've built a WordPress site locally, how do I upload it to my webserver?
(When I upload it to my ftp, it's broken. I suspect that this is because the scripting is set to work on my localhost MySQL & phpMyAdmin and not my webserver's)
2. If I already have a WordPress site up on my webserver, can I download it to my localhost server so I can edit in Dreamweaver and my local machine, and then upload it later to my webserver?

i am only new at dreamweaver...however, i have spent quite some time with Wordpress and Joomla website building.
Plese note... In an effort to explain my thoughts (which if left in their original state...only make sense to me really) i use the term "articles" below very loosely as Wordpress is not just a blogg platform anymore.
The two platforms serve different purposes. Wordpress is a publishing platform...Dreamweaver is a design program. Dreamweaver on its own, would be a very slow and cumbersome way of publishing articles on a Wordpress site. Dreamweaver on its own, is oriented towards creating the entire Wordpress CMS itself...not the "dynamic content" that goes on the Wordpress Site (dynamic meaning published information that is regularly being added/edited/deleted) .
What you really should be asking is, "how can i edit/develop Wordpress themes in Dreamweaver?" Now that, Dreamweaver can do.
Just slightly off topic, have you thought about building your websites using Adobe Muse instead. Its much faster and a lot simpler to use than dreamweaver and a great drag and drop design interface! Almost no coding required. You wold not be using Wordpress of course, and the content isnt dynamic, but Muse is soooo easy to build sites with!
Could i make a suggestion that i myself have undertaken...Purchase a monthly Adobe Creative Cloud plan(to get access to a heap of Adobe CC programs) + $39US/month Lynda.com tutorial package.
Even if you just use the lynda training for a single month only (you only pay by the month as you go)...you will learn an enormous amount about the Dreamweaver, Muse, Wordpress...and a huge number of other programs.
Best money i have spent in Info Tech in a long time

SOAP URL requires authentication even after enclosing user and pw

Currently i have generated a SOAP url and had provided it to the source system owners. All they say is that when they enter the URL in the Internet Explorer, it asked for the username and password again even after adding it to the URL. Also when they integrated it to their application, it throwed an error "Transport error: 401 Error: Unauthorized"
The URL i shared is in the below format,
https://<HostName>:<Port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:<BusinessSystem>:<CommunicationChannel>&nosoap=true&sap-user=<username>&sap-password=<password>

In fact, what Mark mentioned is true. Let me throw some more light to it. You can only include the username and password in the SOAP call to PI if you post the SOAP message directly to the Integration Engine, without using sender SOAP adapter. This approach was described by Stefan Grube in his blog here:

As a result, you would have to use a different URL to post your calls:
http://hostname:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry&version=3.0&Sender.Service=<service>&Interface=<namespace>^<service_interface>&sap-user=<>user&sap-password=<password>
Alternatively (and this is how I would personally do it), you can include the username and password in the HTTP header attributes, as I described here:

Thanks to that, you do use the sender SOAP adapter, and achieve some more security thanks to not providing the user name and password in the URL.
