Workflow for object

Hi All,
I can see workflow for object when i click play like button just beside actions button on transaction in GUI.
Where i can see the same thing on crm webui. Is  there any specific assignment block .
I want to see workflow overview on that particular transaction

  • My workflow is not listed in the GOS (Services for object)

    Hello Experts,
    I developed a workflow and linked the BO ZBUS2081. This is sub type of standard BO BUS2081. I am using the custom event INVOICEBLOCKED to trigger the workflow. The workflow is triggered propely when the invoce is created (with block) thru MIRO and I can see the workflow in SWEL or SWI6 or SWI14.
    But, the workflow is not listed in the services for objects button of the invoice display using MIR4.
    If I use the standard event 'BLOCKEDQUANT' as starting event, the workflow is triggered and I can view it in services for object.
    In the table SWW_WI2OBJ has all entries about the workflow triggered using standard event or custom event.
    How can I make the services for object in invoice list my workflow that was triggered using custom evet?
    Appreciate your help.

    Is there any settings that need to be done to see the workflow associated witha particular Tcode in Services for Objects  tab.
    Actually i  want to see the custom workflow logs other than using tcode swi1  .

    You have to implement GOS (Generic Object service).
    Plenty of material available for it, you can reffer to meet your requirment.

  • Cannot view workflow log via Services for Object Workflow Overview

    We recently had an upgrade of R3/ECC and discovered a new issue.  For some reason we can no longer view workflow log via Services for Object > Workflow Overview for Material Master (transaction MM03).  We get the message "There are no workflows that have already worked with this object".  However, we have confirmed via SWEL and other t-codes that the workflow and log do exist.  This seems to be the only object we have this issue for after the upgrade.
    Anyone know what issue is and how to fix?   Or at least path to config in SPRO for "generic object services" where we can see if anything changed via upgrade for this object?

    Summary
    Symptom
    In the material master, the system no longer displays the attachments for the material or workflow items in the Generic Object Services.
    Other terms
    MM01, MM02, MM03
    Reason and Prerequisites
    As of Release 4.6B, business object BUS1001006 is valid for the material master. Until you have implemented Note 452424, the Generic Object Services is still published for the old BUS1001 business object. After implementing the note, all attachments, relationships, notes and workflow items that are assigned to business object BUS1001 are no longer displayed.
    Instead, all new attachments are assigned to business object BUS1001006. As a result, attachments cannot exist for both systems.
    For workflow items, the assignment to the business object occurs in the respective tasks. It may be very time consuming to convert the business object, depending on whether an individual subtype (assigned to BUS1001) is created.
    In other words, after you implement the note, the workflow items for business object BUS1001 can no longer be displayed in the material master.
    Solution
    With the following correction you can call the Generic Object Services for both business objects. When it is called, the system displays a dialog box in which you can choose the required business object, that is, BUS1001 ('Material') or BUS1001006 ('Standard material').
    This correction is delivered as a modification supported by SAP only. This is because the additional option means that attachments can be maintained as required in either of the business objects and users may therefore require extra training.
    However, the corrections enable you to display attachments and workflow items for both business objects without the need for a major conversion; this means that you do not get the impression that these have been lost.
    Alternatively, as of Release 4.70 (or Basis 6.20) you can, without making a modification, implement method ADD_OBJECTS of BAdI GOS_MULT_PUBLISH for filter attribute WF_OVERVIEW ('Workflow overview'), SRELATIONS ('Relationships') and VIEW_ATTA ('Attachment list'). The implementation should be similar to the following:

      DATA:
        ls_lporb TYPE sibflporb.
      READ TABLE ct_lporb INTO ls_lporb INDEX 1.
      if ls_lporb-typeid = 'BUS1001006'.

  • Business object  for material , template workflow for materials ?

    I need to create a workflow for material master , creating material basic data, create plant views etc
    Which is the appropriate workflow and is there a standard one as a template?

    Hello,
    I feel it is better that you use the standard business object BUS1001006 for your requirement related to the material management as some of the events which are obsolete in the business object BUS1001 have been redefined in BUS1001006.
    Events like "Material created" and "New View for the material Created" are redefined which I think you need for your requirement.

  • Workflow for Resource Object Management

    Hi All,
    I'm attempting to perform resource object management on an LDAP resource and have the following questions for a workflow related to this:
    1. Do I need to checkout the view for the LDAP resource to perform resource object management (by this I mean something similar to creating or updating a group within LDAP)?
    2. I will also be using a custom resource adapter to perform resource object management on that adapter. Can I assume that similar mechansims for LDAP will apply to my custom resource adapter?
    3. Can anyone point me to some standard workflows for resource object management, point any further docs (I've through the workflows, views, and forms, as well as the deployment guide for resource adapters).
    4. Does anyone have any examples of resource object managment they would be willing to share and explain.

  • Std workflow for Parked Invoices?

    hi guys
    are there any std workflows for parked invoices? Our requirement is that once the Finance clerk creates a customer or vendor invoice he should only be able to park it and not post the invoice. Once the invoice is parked then the system should trigger a workflow and a notification neeeds to be sent to the approver to approve the invoice. Once it is done the finance clerk will post the invoice.
    I switched on the event trace and did a trace on while creating a parked invoice. No event is triggered when the document is parked. If i post the document the event POSTED of object FIPP is triggerd. So since we dont have any std events raised when a document is parked is it possible to have a workflow?

    The event FIPP.CREATED is raise via the customizing (SPRO)
    Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting global setting -> document -> document parking -> create workflow variant for parking documents.
                                      Assign co.code to a workflow variant for parking documents.

  • Workflow for blocked sales orders

    HI all,
    I have a requirement in sales in service order .
    when a credit check is done for a customer ,sales order will get blocked  and
    in the service order for the corresponding sales order will get a status with Not OK. To release the block on this we need to manualy change the status in VKM3 and subsequently in service order (IW32).
    My requirement is to do automatic change in the service order status when ever we do release the flag in VKM3.
    I think with work flow we can achieve this.
    Any standard functionality is supported using workflow for this requirement?
    Please help me how to proceed.

    Yes this is possible using workflow!
    I just simulated your scenario and there are no events when you release the sales order but the other good news is that there is a change doucment that is written. The field CMGST in the table VBUK gets updated with the value D which is "released by credit representative". Using this you can configure your own event.
    However to do this following are the steps you would have to follow:
    1. Copy the business object BUS2032 to ZBUS2032 through transaction SWO1.
    2. Add an event called as "Released" to this.
    3. Generate this new copied version of the BO
    4. Delegate the copied Business Object to BUS2032. You can do this in the initial screen of SWO1 by going to the menu "Settings->Delegate". This is the inverse of inheritance through which you will be adding the properties of the subtype(ZBUS2032) to the main type(BUS2032) at runtime
    5. Use transaction SWED and SWEC to configure your own event and raise it when the change document is written. Do remember that you will have to put an entry in the "Field restrictions" table in the transaction SWEC to trigger your own event when the Sales Order is released.
    6. In transaction SWEC you can put in the change document object as "VERKBELEG" derived from CDHDR table. The business object as BUS2032 and the new event you created in the subtype. Since you have delegated the same it will be available for use for the main type.
    7. In the field restrictions put in the table as VBUK and the field CMGST and the old value is * and the new value as D.
    8. Once you do this the event will be raised once you release the sales order.
    9. You can check the same through the event trace SWEL(Remember to swtich on the event trace through SWELS if it is off)
    10. Now you will have to write a function module to change the status of the service order using the OBJNR of the service order and table JEST or use the standard function module STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN. <b><b>Please remember that you can change a User status because system statuses are changed by the system. However you can change the system status by updating the table but I guess that is not like how the system changes it. When the system itself changes the status then there might be certain follow on documents that are created.</b></b>
    12. Now you will have to encaspulate this FM in a method of the business object.
    13. You will have to use the ZBUS2032 to add your own method which calls this function module. Hope you have the reference to the service order from the sales order.
    14. Now have a task or a workflow which has a single step which inturn calls this method and trigger the workflow or the task using the event.
    That might solve the problem you have

    let me clear my scenario first . i have 1 purchase order whose workflow is not triggered . means it is showing me message no workflow that have already worked for this object.i have created 1 more purchase order taking reference of this purchase order means both are same same message for this po also. it was happening because event linkage for the business object bus2012 is not activated but now it is enabled and i have created third purchase order with reference to above po means this third po is also same as above 2 no change other than po number but for this workdflow is getting triggered . now i want to trigger workflow for orignal first po but for my first po it is showing me same message that no workflow that have already worked for this object. what i have to do to trigger workflow for this po. i have performed this steps in test system. i have workflow number

          You can trigger the workflow from SWUE.Enter bus2012 and created for object type and event respectively.
          Click object key button where enter the purchase order number which have been already created.
          But, why do you want to trigger the workflow again for already created purchase order ?

  • Approval workflow for creation of organization

    Hi,
    I need to configure an approval workflow for the creation of organization. When the admin tries to create a new org, the approval should go to a admin group. The org should get created only once approval is done. I have configured an approval workflow for the Xellerate Organization resource object. I have created an unconditional task where the assignment tab has the admin group. When I test it, the org gets created without going through the approval process. Could someone please tell me what am I missing?

    You'll have to raise request for Dummy Organization. It's Order for Organization so will not appear for user.
    I am not sure the full flow/complete requirement of your.
    APMU, you want approval while creating Organization into OIM.
    This is not possible OOTb when you create ORg in OIM.
    You'll create 1 dummy Org
    1 Dummy RO "OFO".
    Attach one Object Form with this RO.
    Raise request for Dummy Org and Give the name of Org on the object form for which you want approval.
    In the provisioning workflow, use OIM API to create Org into OIM.
    Done !!!

  • Services for Object in VF02 & VF03

    Hi All,
    Attaching a document through "Attachment list" option by the "Services for Object" icon in VF02. however some options are grayed out. Please read through for the explanation of the problem.
    1) Go to transaction VF02.
    2) Input a billing document and press Enter.
    3) Click on "Services for Object" button and a dropdown list opens which has the following options -:
    a. Create
    b. Attachment list
    c. Private Note
    d. Send
    e. Relationships
    f. Workflow
    g. My Objects
    h. Help for Object Services
    However the option "b" and "e" (i.e. Attachment list and Relationships) are grayed out. Can anyone please help on how to activate the above mentioned options. Is it done by BASIS team. Please help.
    PS: "Services for Object" icon is found exactly BELOW the "Enter" (green tick icon in the top left) button.

  • Idoc info in 'Services for Objects' when a sales order is created

    Hi Guys
    Could one of you remind me how to turn on the Idoc info in the 'Services for Objects' > workflow option.
    I know how to turn on the services for objects using the user profile and entering parameter id:SD_SWU_ACTIVE , parameter value: X.
    I am not able to see the Idoc number/info that was used to create the sales order. I can see all the information in WE05 but the sales order does not show me any history of having used the Idoc.
    When i go to sales order and select the services for objects option followed by workflow the system should show the IDOC number/info used to create this order.

    Hi,
    1. Configure the IDoc with message type ORDERS and basic IDoc type as ORDERS05 (You have to follow common step-by-step approach)
    2. Configure Message Control to automatically generate IDoc whenever a Sales Order is created. (I mean output type)
    So whenever a Sales Order is created, output type will generate an IDoc.

    In SWETYPV,I have check marked on Type linkage active and Enable event queue. Status no error.
    In PFTC, under Triggering events, Object type BUS2012 is green light
    When i create the PO in my SAP inbox, i get notification, however, i getting this error u201CERROR IN EVENT RECEIVER".
    Also, how can i send the notification to the user's outlook inbox? Your help will be appreciated.

    I suppose, you are using the workflow WS20000075. Add sending email as an additional task to the same workflow in SWDD.

    !!!For each purchasing group, you define a position and link it to the entries in table T024!!!
    i am aware how o create the posistion but not getting the point how to link it to the table T024, Please advise how to achive this
