Workflow - passing work item automatically from one inbox to the next one

Hi,
We have a pretty customized work flow and SAP is configured to start the workflow after creation of PO. For some POs created by a user, we want the POs / work item to be sent automatically / by background job from that user's inbox to his /her manager's inbox for approval without manually executing the work item.
I looked at the FM SWU_PROCESS_MANUEL_DECISION, but could be called only by dialog. I checked the transaction SWIA, but need manual input.
We are in 4.6b, can anyone tell me how to do the same?
BTW, I tried to create a custom FM based on above, but lots of issues on that as well.
If I can change the workflow, all I want is, check the initiator and PO types then based on that either forward directly to next approver or just leave it in the inbox of the initiator so that the initiator can approve manually after verifying the PO.

Incomplete Approval Work Item Removed from Agent Inbox

Dear All WF Experts,
I noticed this strange scenario:
Let say Agent A and Agent B are sent a work item.
If Agent A has executed the work item in SBWP previously, the work item is removed from Agent B's inbox (And the status is changed to 'STARTED'). However, the work item is not processed yet.
Is there anyway to make the work item stays in the inbox until either agent approved the work item?

Thanks Arghadip for your response. Sorry for my blunt question.
Actually, the Agent A and Agent B are the approvers for PR approval by position (Agent A and Agent B are the users in the mentioned position).
Thus, when a PR is raised, both Agent A and Agent B received the same PR work item.
If Agent A execute the work item but does not release the PR, the work item still remains in Agent A's inbox as there is no terminating event. So, based on the logic, in Agent B's inbox, the work item should still be there because the work item is not fully processed yet (no terminating event takes place).
But, now, from what I saw, as long as any of the responsible agents executed (started) the work item, even if they do not release it, the work item is removed from all other agents' inbox and only remain in the inbox of the agent who first executed the work item.
I interpreted this as there is at least one agent already view the work item and know the existence of the PR to be approved, thus the other agents do not need to bother about the PR anymore. But, is my interpretation correct? And is there anyway to make the work item stay in the inbox of all approvers until there is one terminating event?

im working on webdynpro. when the agent executes the workitem it has to open one form designed with webdynpro screens. here i have to get the workitem id from workitem and basing on the workitem id , i will get other data , that i have to dispaly in the lay out of a view..
how to pass this work item id to my view and how to display this...?

Hi,
Application parameters can be used for this accessed directly only in the Window. Follow these steps;
1. get the application url using the following code,
par_wrkitm is the application parameter ( which should also be declared in the HANDLEDEFAULT method of the window as importing parameter and aslo appended in the URL )
g_wrkitm is a Component Controller attribute
Data: my_url TYPE string.
*Get the URL of the Application
CALL METHOD cl_wd_utilities=>construct_wd_url
EXPORTING
application_name = 'ZWDRC_NEW_APP'
IMPORTING
out_absolute_url = my_url.
2. Now pass the required parameter ( i.e in this case Workitem id ) to this URL
3. In your webdybpro applicatio, Goto Application parameters and create a parameter for workitem id with the same name as used in the URL.
4. In the HANDLEDEFAULT method of the window, create Importing parameters with same names as that of your application parameter.
5. Now this variable will contain your workitem id.
If you want to acess the variable in your views;
2. create a attribute in the Component Controller( Component Controller->Attributes Tab; mark it as public )
3. Now in the HANDLEDEFAULT method of the window, assign your application parameter values to the component controller attributes directly as shown below,
wd_comp_controller->g_wrkitm = par_wrkitm

In my workflow the first two steps are multi condition.
after my second condition i have created activity   step   - Task   and binding the bapi attribute value.
i checked binding no error.
I am getting error in this part.
The error is

Seems that your custom BOR is not delegated to the supertype, please do the same in SWO6 and
also check the binding from event to workflow.

Have you tried resetting the PMU?
I'm not optimistic that this will help any more than the procedures you've already tried, but it won't hurt to try.
Do you still have your OS 9 installation? If so, try booting into OS 9 and see if the problems with the audio are happening there, too. If so, you can bet it's a hardware problem.
How big is your hard drive and how much space remains available on it? If you don't have your OS 9 installation in order to check out whether it's a hardware problem and you have enough available hard drive space, you may want to try an Archive and Install of the OS in order to make sure it isn't an OS X system-wide problem. If that doesn't do it, you could back up your hard drive and restore your software.
All of this may just be spinning your wheels, but it's all stuff you can try before shelling out a lot of money for repairs.

Does this only happen with the tracks you have downloaded from the iTunes Store? Perhaps you should work the suggestions in this Apple support document first.

Office 365 AAD Password Writeback not working; Event Viewer Error: 0x80230619 (A restriction prevents the password from being changed to the current one specified.)

Hello all,
I'm currently setting up a Proof Of Concept setup with directory synchronisation and password syncing to Office 365, leveraging AAD Premium for the password reset and password writeback to on premises
AD functionality. Directory Sync + Password Sync is working flawlessly with the AADSync tool. However, upon requesting a password reset for a user, I'm hitting a password writeback error. The webpage states that the password does not meet the password
complexity policy, while it does. I can set that particular password for that account at the on premises AD without any problem.
In the event viewer at the AADSync server, I'm seeing this Error pop up whenever I try to reset the password:
An unexpected error has occurred during a password set operation. "BAIL: MMS(4032): ..\server.cpp(11003): 0x80230619 (A restriction prevents the password from being changed
to the current one specified.) Azure AD Sync 1.0.0475.1202"
My Setup:
Windows Server 2012 AD with a single forest
Seperate domain joined Windows Server 2012 for AADSync tool
AADSync version 1.0.0475.1202 with options password sync, password writeback enabled
Service account for AADSync tool with Replicating Directory Changes and Replicating Directory Changes All permissions
on root AD forest structure with inheritance to all objects. This account also has the permissions to Change Password and Reset Password on all descendant
User Objects.
AAD Premium for my office 365 tenant
AAD Premium licenses for the test users and the office 365 account used to sync to Office 365. This account is also Global Admin.
Could anyone help me with this? Is there something I’m missing here? My guess is that the AAD is not trusted or the service account for AADSync tool does not have the proper permissions. I’ve tried
many options, like setting the AADSync Service account to Enterprise Admin or granting the service account Full Control over that particular user.

Concerning my issue:
The Default Group Policy setting: Minimum Password Age is set at 1 day. As I was testing this feature with new users, their provisioned passwords were less than 24 hours old and the Minimum Password Age of 1 prevented the change of the password.
After changing this to 0 days in the Default Group Policy, my password resets started working for newly created users. While this might not have affected existing users in production, it had me looking and searching for permission issues on my AD.
So for those that might be experiencing ADSync Event ID 6329 and PasswordResetService Event ID 33008 Errors when trying to do a Password Reset using AAD Premium with Password Writeback, it might be helpful to check the applied password policy.
The issue is solved.

My problem was fixed via your suggestion. Thanks. Then I heard, though it hasn't been substantiated by anyone I know, that pushing the the round "start" button after the unit is on three rapid times will solve the problem. Do you know if this is valid info?

How to move apps from one screen to the next?

In order to organize a bit the screens after installing several apps, how can we move them from one screen to the next?
I've found it possible to place them in the lower bar and then replace them into the required screen but that's very slow...
Any other way?
Also, is it possible to place the apps where we want and not get them automatically reorganized (blanks filled)?

Sorry I guess the correct terminology would be 'virtual desktops'.
You pass from one virtual desktop to another swiping left or right on the phone.
I would like to switch conveniently an app (icon) from one virtual desktop to another.

Can't get iTunes to move from one song to the next

I'm using iTunes 7.3.1 on an iMac with OS X 10.4.10. Everything was working fine, but now I can't get the playlists to move automatically from one song to the next. All the songs play if I double click on them individually, but when a song is finished playing, iTunes does not move automatically to the next song. I have to then double click on the next song I want to play. Furthermore, neither the "next," nor the "previous" track functions work. I have tried fiddling with the control settings (Repeat Off, Repeat All, Repeat One), but nothing I have tried makes a difference. Bottom line: If I want to sit at my computer and hear a playlist on iTunes, I have to manually click on each song I want to hear. Not too convenient when I want to listen while walking on my treadmill! Anyone suggestions would be appreciated.

Have the tracks become unchecked? iTunes will skip unchecked tracks, so if they're all unchecked, iTunes will play one and then stop. If this is indeed the case, re-checkmark the tracks - Command-click on any checkbox will select or unselect them all - and you should then have continuous playback.

I have created custom workflow, i have added a sendmailtask step, i given the SAP userid to send SAP Mail to the user.
It is sending SAP Mail to the User to his inbox perfectly.
Now, how can i autoforward that mail from SAP INBOX to the outlook. This is has to work for all users.
Please give some suggestions. ot it can be achived any other way.
Note: This is Email Message not a workitem.
I have doubt that RSWW program will work only for workitems.*

what I understand from your requirement is that you are able to send messages using SendMail Step to SAP Inbox and now you want it to be sent to users Outlook.
Here you need to create a container which would store users email address of Outlook (which would be stored in SU01 or in a ztable), use this container in your Send Mail step and in the Recepient Type as email.

If u r using the screen painter then u need to create a button and in status there.code as set pf-status.
case sy-ucomm.
when 'back'.
leave to screen <screen number> here if u want to go to the other screen i.e to screen 200 ffrm 400 then u can code it as
leave to screen 400.
or else code it as
if screen = '200'.
leave to screen 400.
try this eg it might work ..

All,
I have a situation where it appears the due date of an invoice is being copied from a previous invoice entry. Can anyone tell me is there a process where the user can have data default from one invoice to the next and if so is the due date (planning date) one of those fields?

I understand how it is supposed to work. However, I have production examples of that not happening and I'm trying to figure out how. The only way I have been able to replicate the issue is when I manually enter the due date when entering the invoice the calculation of baseline date + #of days does not happen. Users say they are not manually entering a date so I'm trying to find a way the date could be entered without the users knowledge.
