Working on pages in 1 Library, but for several projects (different targets)

Hi guys,
I'm a designer in a developer-team, actually we give Flex, FlashBuilder and FlashCatalyst a big try.
Goal:
to make one application / service, with same Webservices and components,
for different mobile devices, as AIR-Application and for probably for websites too.
Problem (short):
When i work with FXPL (Library), i cannot work on the different user-interfaces for each device/AIR. I can only work on the components itself, but not on the full software-interface.
Problem (in detail):
As an FXP (Design and Code in same project) its easy to work on all User-Interfaces(States). But as we have different targets - such as iPad, Android-phones and AIR-Application - i need to work with a Library to keep all components in same version, without editing 3 or more projects with same changes.
So, how to work not just on the single components itself (example: a login-form) but also on the complete user-interface (with its headers, navigation, transitions and all this stuff) in Flash Catalyst (while working with a Library) ??
Example:
A complex interface got 3 new components, which are already build & designed. I, as the designer, want to place & align them and maybe working on details. But in Flash Catalyst i cannot get the full-view of the user-interface (for each device / target).
My idea for a work-around:
Instead of working with the primary states (which is not possible with the library) i create something like an over-all-component for each view. So i can work on the single components (like child-parts of the main-user-interface), i can align them and work on them with states too.
In this case i need to make all these components three times (for ipad, android-phones and AIR app),
so: i can work on any user-interface for every target in flash catalyst, instead of just working on the components!
but: at end of day i get alot of "components" which are just placeholders for states, views or component-groups.
- Is there any better workflow yet with librarys & different targets (working on all interfaces)?
- Didn't i see a critical point about my idea for a work-around ?

We work with FlashCatalyst CS 5.5 (1.5.0) and FlashBuilder 4.5 (4.5.1)

The basic idea is sound, however none of the components in Flash Catalyst are mobile friendly, nor is any of the skinning that it does. For that reason I would recommend not incorporating Flash Catalyst into any real mobile projects. It is fine to mock up a prototype, but nothing will deploy or run well on device.
I hope this mobile issue is addressed in a future version.

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

Would it be possible to have 2 shared resources, one local containing all common topics and pictures for several projects, and another one remote containing all topics and pictures for collaboration purposes

I was wondering, now that I discovered the advantages of Resource Manger, if it would be possible to have 2 shared resources, one local with common topics and pictures for several projects, and another one, remote, containing the whole projects, i.e. topics and pictures, for collaboration purposes.
The local one I intend to use it for my purposes to have common items (topics & pictures) updated in all projects where they appear, and the remote one I intend to use it together with my remote colleagues that might want to do changes in the topics.
This would mean that the common topics and pictures would be present in both resources, the local one as well as the remote one.

I was merely wondering if it would be possible w/o having to use other products outside RoboHelp.
We are already using svn for a lot of other purposes and we are using that for the RoboHelp projects as well, however I was wondering if it would not be possible to have RoboHelp take care of the RoboHelp projects, and with svn to take care of the other things in the company.
Eventually, if it would be possible, I would think to sync all the local projects with the remote projects, then sync the local project with the local shared resources, and at the end sync the rest of the projects with the local shared resources.

Reports for several projects

I developed some reports to show the distribution of resources against duration. Previously, I used the output as ASCII text file and then make an Excel spreadsheet / histogram with the results.
Scenario is:
1- I have several projects which I want to report the distro. of resources on
2- I want to show the distro. of qty. against duration sorted by projects in the same report, i.e. currently the units are shown as 1 single row / month summed for all open projects

In P6, Under Reports, I look under the "Open Projects" heading, and then "Resource Usage", I start with the canned report RL-06. This is a weekly report, but you only need to adjust the timescale to show daily instead of weekly. In the Report Wizard, not Report Editor, Under the "Group and Sort" Button, it should give you the option to group by "Project" (no "S"). This should fix your issue.

Why not contact RoboForm and ask them when it will be made compatible with Firefox again. I understand from another thread that Roboform is also not compatible with Firefox 7. It is only about another week before Firefox 7 will move from Beta to the release channel.

Including library dependency for Java Callout in OSB Proxy

I have a simple question for which a simple answer is eluding me:
I have developed a simple Java Callout for us in a proxy message flow and that Java class has a dependency on the Commons IO library but for the life of me I can see how I can ensure the proxy is deployed with the library in the classpath because when I perform a simple publish and test the service I get the exception:

i.e. the Commons IO (e.g. org/apache/commons/io/FileUtils) is not in the classpath.
There must be a simple way of declaring this dependency or something and have the library loaded but I can't find it.

Well I managed to answer my own question in the end. It's simply a matter of selecting jar dependencies from other jars which can be done by double clicking ("opening") the jar within the OSB Conf project which opens a jar dependencies dialogue box. As expected it's easy when you know how...

Missing Functionality -where do I set a budget for a Project?

Budgeting for Projects is non - existent
Budget for Profit and Loss for a particular project , How is it done ?
Does not work , No facility to put in Budget for a project ?
The report I am trying to run is:
REPORTS>FINANCIAL>BUDGET REPORTS>Profit and Loss Statement Budget Report.Then go to Expanded and choose a PROJECT, say MailOrder.
The result is that it will show the MailOrder project for the ACTUAL but it will show the whole company Turnover against the BUDGET column.
This is because there is no place to set a budget for MailOrder Project in the first place. So the question is where do I set a budget for a Project?
1 Budget setup screen - this has no facility to setup a budget for a PROJECT
2.Budget Profit and Loss - this has the facility to run a PROJECT budget but the figures for the Budget cannot be right because they were not setup in the first place.
PS MailOrder project is just an example.

Please ignore my previous replies because I have now worked out why this idea will not work:
Kerstins' idea is based on setting up new Nominal Codes for every Project and for Every Nominal Code in the Profit and Loss structure. Apart from the fact that this will create a messy Nominal Structure with hundreds of Nominal Codes, the main issue here is the way the Cost Of Goods Sold is structured. The logic of our Nominal Structure for Sales and Cost of Goods is based on Item/Item Groups and the Nature of these Items. In our case we sell Skin Care products under 3 Brands. Say Brand A, B and C
So Brand A is summarised into one item Group and the ITEM GROUP is coded to Sales Nominal 20000 and the Cost of this group is coded to Nominal 30000. In Kertins suggestion, I would need to raise a Nominal Code 20001 for say Project Mail Order and 30001 for the Cost of Goods for Mail Order but this the Mail Order project is selling ALL our brands (A,B,C) - so you can see the problem here. You cannot use Nominal Codes for two different purposes and make it work. So the problem here is that my BRAND A summary will contain a Nominal with a Project Mail Order, that has SALES of Brand A,B,C. The Net effect will be that we will not be able to summarise anything in SALES and Cost of SALES in a logical way (Neither by Brand or By Project) and the Nominal Structure will be a mess.
My conclusion is that SAP b1 Sales and Cost of Goods section demands certain logic when building the Nominal Codes, and this is based on the NATURE OF THE STOCK ITEM and trying to superimpose the PROJECT issue into this, will never work. In my view, the PROJECT issue needs to be sorted without involving New Nominal codes and the starting point would be in sorting out the SALES and COST of SALES and the project Budget for this.
Please let me know if you need further illustration of the problem.

I have set up a simple custom HCM process and Form regarding Infotype TO CREATE AND CHANGE POSITION. I have checked the process and form consistency and it seems fine. Now when I run the process from HRASR_DT it generates a process number but it also gives an error workflow could not start.I get following error (SWIA log - Step history)

1) I have searched few SAP notes such as 1384961(Notes for 6.0.4) but our system is in higher level patch 6.0.5

what I do is RIGHT CLICK, INTERACTIVE, NEW HYPERLINK, and a window pops up, where I paste the address (images).
Where says URL I paste the complete address that the "sub page" gives me.
Is that correct? (for the main page of the wabepage works correctly)
