Workspace error when drilling down on Essbase Cube

An Interactive Reporting Service error has occurred.-Failed to acquire requested service.
(2001)
We're trying to create OLAP queries in IR to deploy through workspace. When I drill down on any dimension, after deploying to workspace, I get the generic error above. Has anyone seen this error?

I have created one report using Essbase cubes in OBIEE11G and when I am archiving the same report at one local server and unarchiving it at some other server then at the other server I am facing this error.
Any replies will indeed be helpful.

I am displaying one bar chart with, one Ragged hierarchy dimension "Region" ( structure : total region - > India , US -> India south , US south -> chennai , California) and "revenue" (measure) .

Error when Drill down on top level of hierarchy node

Hi Gurus,
The following error occurs when I drill down to a "Actual Line items sub report" using the "top node" of an hierarchy based report .
But, the same drill down works fine when I drill down using the very sub level of the same hierarchy (without any further levels of hierarchies).
System error in program SAPLRRK0 and form NACHLESEN_INIT_NODE-01-
Any help or work around suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Error Message appears when drilling down from a report.

I am using CR XI R2.
I have an rpt file that displays a chart from a sub report.
I tested it on the CR designer and report viewer - works ok.
When I display this report in my .Net application, I get an error message when drilling down from this chart : "The Report Application Server failed"
When looking at the log files I see this error message:

This is a Viewer error - but when drilling down from the Report Viewer I don't get this exception.
Does anyone know what this mean?

Three ideas:
1) Install CR designer on one of the boxes where this does not work and try to run the report there
2) Add a line to your code and save out the report just after your database logon once ( .saveAs). try to run this report in the CR designer.
3) Use the [modules|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100006252802008E/modules.zip] utility to compare the runtime - both CR and db client between computers that work and those that do not.

Error when posting Down payment with reference to down payment request

Hi Experts,
In October of 2010 we upgraded from version SAP 4.7 to version 604 SAPKH60406.
With this upgrade we decided to select the following FM setting:
"Flag to activate down payment request update to PO history"
If this flag is set, down payment requests are updated to the purchase order history. In addition, when you create a down payment referencing this down payment request , the down payment request is cleared by the down payment.
Use- Set this flag if you want to see the down payment requests in the purchase order history.
So, since October 2010, the Down payment requests have been updated to the PO history (note - no update of the down payment request was made to the PO status tab) and the down payments (made with reference to the down payment request) have been clearing the DP requests.
Today we have applied packages SAPKH60407 - SAPKH60409 and we are in the process of testing.
Now we are experiencing errors when processing down payments:
1. create the down payment request (F-47) - this is OK
2. create the down payment (F-48) with reference to the down payment request - ERROR MESSAGE F5373 - "Order value will be exceeded"
Can anyone please explain why this is happening? We would like to keep the "Flag to activate DPR update to PO history" ON
as it has been since October 2010.

Pie Chart legend text when drill down too larger

Dear Gurus,
I have this report with Pie chart:

Element Group
Earnings 100
Deductions 30
When drill down (after click on Earnings/Deductions), it become detail like this:
Element Group Classification Name
Earning Regular
Earning Irregular
And the Pie chart legend show this: Earnings, Regular Earnings
->how to remove Earnings?I just want to show classification name as legend.
I use OBIEE 11.1.1.3

There was a bug associated with repeated legends in 11.1.1.3 version.Can you check the below document and see if the mentioned patch helps,

CrystalReportsViewer 2011 rendering errors on drill down.

I am displaying a report containing several groups inside the CrystalReportViewer (version 2011) in ASP.NET 3.5.
The viewer works fine, however when I try to drill down into a group using the treeview navigator:
- the whole page is redrawn and it appears to move outside the window (i.e. only part of it is visible, the rest of the page is blank)
- the Drill event does not fire on the code behind
This is not the case when drilling down into a group by clicking on it within the report itself.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,
Uninstall the crystal component you are refering to as Crystal Reports 2011 runtime.
Install [Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 SP1|http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/cr4vs2010/CRforVS_13_0_1.exe]on top of Visual Studio 2010.
Open the crystal report in the CR for VS 2010 bundled designer, preview it and see if it works fine.
Then create a sample application and try to view the report.
See if it reproduces the issue.

Limit the members shown when drilling down

Hi,
Is it possible to limit the members shown of a level, when drilling down? I have a dimension in groups with a medium level that has a lot of members, and when I drill down from the top level in this dimension, a lot of members are shown and the graph is too confused.

Rag: Query performence - Report taking long time when drill down a Char.

Hi All,
After executing the report when we try to Drilldown PO Char, then the report used to take long time nearly 60 to 90 minutes and thorough an errors that "An error is occurred during loading" or "Connection Timed Out".
The report is created on Multiprovider which is build on 7 infocubes and the data for the PO char is coming from all the 7 cubes.
So we have created Aggregates on the 5 Infocubes based on system proposal.
Then,
We checked in RSRT, the data is coming from all 5 Aggregates and also when we drill down the PO also the data is coming from 5 Aggregates itself.
But,
The report is running fine and also when we drilldown the PO to show all the PO values, then the report showing all the POu2019s details by taking nearly 15 mins only.
Here our concern is why the report is taking 15 mins when we drill a PO char.
Could any one give suggestions please.

Drill down using essbase

Hi,
I am currently looking into using OBI EE with essbase cubes. Setting up the cubes using the Administration tool is fine and so is creating reports. However I have an issue when I try to drill down - suddenly all of the parent levels appear in the report (in reverse order!)
for example if I have a report which displays data at the month level and I click on a month to get daily data, the report suddenly also shows columns for quarter and year - which is definitely not what is required.
I don't believe that there is anything wrong with the essbase cube (if I check data in it using hyperion tools then it is fine), nor do I think there is anything wrong with the definition in the repository (I used the standard 'Import from Multi-dimensional' to create the physical layer then drag and drop to create the business and presentation layers).
The problem occurs both with versions 10.1.3.3.3 and 10.1.3.3.1. (and probably others)
Any ideas ?

Error while Drilling down across sheets

Hi ,
I am using the new BI 7.0 Bex Analyzer as forntend to my BI 7.0.
While navigating in BI Bex Analyzer, when I select the the drill down accross sheet from the context menu of any characteristics, i get an error message as follows.
"*A Critical program error occurred. The program has to be clos. Please refer the trace for furhter inforamtion*."
My SAP GUI version is 7.10 and the patch level 5.0
Can any body suggest some solution on this.

Error regarding data load into Essbase cube for Measures using ODI

I am able to load metadata for dimensions into Essbase cube using ODI but when we are trying same for loading data for Measures encountring following errrors:

We are having a similar problem. We're using the IKM SQL to Hyperion Essbase (DATA) knowledge module. We are mapping the actual data to the field called 'Data' in the model. But it kicks everything out saying 'Unknown Member [Data] in Data Load', as if it's trying to read that field as a dimension member. We can't see what we missed in building the interface. I would think the knowledge module would just know that the Data field is, um, data; not a dimension member. Has anyone else encountered this?

I think this might be an issue with 10.2.0.2 version, I would try applying the 10.2.0.3 patchset and then apply the additional the OLAP A patch for your specific platform. The patches can be downloaded from Metalink.

Error using drill down function on receiving transaction in GL

"The Receiving Accounting Events function is not available under General Ledger Super User" is received when attempting to drill down on a receiving transaction through GL. I have searched for any missing roles/responsibilities under GL super user and attempted the same process with GL Manager and sysadmin roles without success.
