Wps.jar error

Hi,
Has anyone received this error before:
Unable to deploy EJB: C:\ws\portal\main\projects\portal2\wps.jar from wps.jar:
weblogic.ejb20.WLDeploymentException: The run-as principal 'portaladmin' for EJB
'MailService' is not a user in the current realm. The user must exist for the
EJB to successfully deploy.
If you have, could you please let me know how to correct this error at your earliest
convenience?
Thanks,
Eva

It looks like you've requested a MDB to run as the portaladmin principal
but you don't have a user with that name in your system.

  • Xerces.jar error when migrating from weblogic 8.1SP6 to Oracle Weblogic 10.

    Hi all,
I am migrating the J2ee (1.4) application from 8.1sp6 to Oracle Weblogic server 10.3
I have set the environment in build.xml to point to Oracle weblogic server and the java to the one that comes with Oracleweblogic.
Rite now I am seeing the following error.
[javac] C:\Zdev10.3\sep09_Build\src\source\com\myapp\sample\ejb\external\pmt\ServicesBean.java:51: package org.apache.xerces.validators.datatype does not exist

According to Oracle Weblogic , xerces is been not supported .
Also we need to go with the xerces.jar for some time.
Any ideas /inputs/work arounds on this will be appreciated.

You have to make sure the LogMessage class (weblogic/i18n/logging/LogMessage) is in the classpath
    Using WebLogic Internationalization utilities: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13704/utilities.htm#i1011073

Do you guys ever test Oracle JDBC jar file like this ? Or the jar file is not OS independant ?
    Any ideas ?

Do you guys ever test Oracle JDBC jar file like this ? we are not Oracle testers
Oracle JDBC jar files are provided by Oracle (and tested by Oracle).
Or the jar file is not OS independant ?It is not correct. jar files are OS independent.
Any ideas ?No ideas until you post error stack

  • Loadjava / soap.jar / errors during loading into 9.2 dbms

    Hello!
I followed the description under "
    http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/tech/java/jsp/loadjars.html"!
I tried to test a webservice call from java stored procedure in oracle 9.2 dbms, but i get the following error while using loadjava.
    e.g.
referenced object oracle/dms/http/HttpBasicAuthorizationException could not be resolved, or e.g. OracleSOAPHTTPConnection ...
Any idea, what i should do instead?
    regards
    Harald.

This note details the errors I typically get from loading as well as the extra commands I need to run to get a call out to a particular endpoint running (as extra information to the writeup you already have used).
Can 8i be a Web Service Consumer?
The other thing to make sure is that you use the soap.jar that ships with Oracle9iAS not the one that ships with the database as the database soap.jar is from a much older version of Apache SOAP than that that ships with 9iAS. I believe the above writeup details this too.
    Mike.

    Thanks lots, Slava .
U r right, now instead of using javac, I'm using jikes, which is good for
all jdk.The problem is that your Java runtime may be still 1.5, so you may get other
strange errors. I don't think you will need 1.5 for a while, at least to develop
apps under weblogic. You may want to review your environment settings.
    HTH.

    Hi John,
Make sure that you are using JDK 1.4.2, not 1.5.x. You may know your javaversion by
    running this command:
    java -version
    Hope this helps.

  • OSB 11g import sbconfig.jar error

    Hello everybody,
I'm trying to import OSB config jar to newly created OSB 11g environment. The following error occurs in Oracle Service Bus console during import:
The import failed with exception: com.bea.wli.config.component.NotFoundException: Failed to create temporary jar file
Operation System is RHEL 5.5, JVM is JRockit 1.6.017
OSB is installed to /u01/bea and oracle is the owner of this directory. Oracle user has write permissions to /tmp directory too.
Any idea, why this can happen? What directory does OSB use to create temporary jar file ?

  • WAF jars error, version 49.0 not 48.0

    I'm using Tomcat 5.5.7 and Netbeans 4.1.
    Anyone had this problem ?
    thanks, bye.

    Hi,
I am facing the same problem with NetBeans.
Have you found a solution for it already?
    Thanx,

  • Java -jar  = Error

I am using netbeans beta 5 and i get this error when i do java -jar filename, jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/jdesktop/layout/GroupLayout$Group
    at tictactoe.Main.main(Main.java:27)

That missing class is part of the new Free Design (Matisse) layout manager. It doesn't exist outside of NetBeans; you need to add it to your classpath to use it outside of NB. (There are plans to add this as a manager to Java, I believe in Mustang, which would eliminate the problem..)
The class is in this jar, just add the jar to the classpath.
    C:\Program Files\NetBeans_5beta\ide6\modules\ext\swing-layout-0.7.jar
If you look at the Project's Libraries, you'll find an entry for this jar, "Swing Layout Extensions - swing-layout-0.7.jar"

    Unable to access jarfile C:\Programme\sapinst_instdir\NW04SR1\WEBAS_COPY\ONE_HOST/installsdm/SDM.jar
The mentioned directory is indeed empty. On the downloaded distribution I cannot find a file called SDM.jar.
    Any ideas?

    Hello,
I have the same problem and rebooting doesn't solve this mess:
    WARNING 2006-02-22 15:26:14
    Execution of the command "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_10/bin/java.exe '-Xmx64M' '-Djava.ext.dirs=C:\Programme\sapinst_instdir\NW04SR1\WEBAS_COPY\ONE_HOST/installsdm/libs' '-jar' 'C:\Programme\sapinst_instdir\NW04SR1\WEBAS_COPY\ONE_HOST/installsdm/SDM.jar' 'autoinstall' 'sdmHome=C:\usr\sap/J2E/JC00/SDM/program' 'popDir=C:\Programme\sapinst_instdir\NW04SR1\WEBAS_COPY\ONE_HOST/installsdm' 'sdmRoot=C:\usr\sap/J2E/JC00/SDM/root' 'javaHome=C:\j2sdk1.4.2_10' 'Sdmadminport=50017' 'Sdmguiport=50018' 'Sdmhttpport=50019' 'extractpackedinst=true'" finished with return code 1.
Output: Unable to access jarfile C:\Programme\sapinst_instdir\NW04SR1\WEBAS_COPY\ONE_HOST/installsdm/SDM.jar
Where can I find or download this sdm.jar file?
    Thanks in advance

  • JAR Error

Using JDEV 10g, I did a JClient application with application module.
I have now two packages: model and view.
I'm trying to create a jar executable file with all classes and necessary jar, but I can't succeed.
When a lunch java -jar <..>.jar
I obtain: Exception in thread main java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle.jbo.uicli.controls.JUPanel
Could someone tell me the steps to create the jar (I used the oracle documentation but it's not really clear) ... or find the solution to NoClassDefFoundError error?
    Thanks!
    Riccardo

    Riccardo,
posted the following on a similar problem:
I assume that you built a deployment profile for the model and this start directly with the JClient project
    1. Select View project and choose "New" from the right mouse menu
    2. Select "Deploymemt Profiles" --> "Jar file"
    3. In the opened "JAR deployment profile properties" dialog, select "Profile dependencies"
    4. check mark all Model.jpr deployment profiles (DON'T check the same for the view)
    5. Select "File Groups" and press "New" button
    6. Define a name and select "Dependecy Analyzis"
    7. Select the <defined name> node and click the "Libraries" tab
    8. Select all libraries that you want to include in your jar file (e.g. you probably don't need Intermedia)
    9. Select "Include Content in Output" or "Add to dependency Analyzer" (the first is more reliable, but creates a bigger jar file. You can run a preview on the deployment descriptor to see if there are missing dependencies)
    10. Create the jar file (as you will see its a lot bigger than it was)
Now, why do you have to do all this?
Deploying a JClient application assumes that all the required runtime libraries are in the classpath of the target system, so they get shared across machines.
Therefore only the essential application files are in the jar.
If you want to deploy them all with your application, then again you have two options: Create a jar of jar files that then goes into the classpath, or - as described above - make all the content go into one giant jar file and play with it until it has an acceptable size.

  • "jar" error in Linux

whenever I try to run "jar ..." in Linux I get 2 errors:
    Error: could not find libjava.so
Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.
I have the JRE folder set in my path, so I'm at a loss for why it can't find it.

The JRE does not come with the jar program!
For that you need the JDK!
D for Develpment, R for Runtime. When Running a program you are meant to already have the jars!
Other frequent problems I have found when using Java on UNIX is due to the fact that some have a default 1.x install under /usr/bin with simlinks. When installing new JDKs you really want the full path to the install directory, since the JDK/JRE use the directory structure to find relevant files/libraries, and the simlinks get in their way.

    [weblogic-startup error.txt]

    Hi Satendra,
Is upgradation the only solution? No, it is one of the better options (and my personal suggestion) as PS2 release is more stable and has many more functionalities and features than PS1. The error which you are getting may be due to a corrupt installation. In case you want to solve this error only and do not want to go for upgrade, then feel free to raise a case with support.
