WS14500015 - n-step WF, item based

Hi Guys,
I'm developing an item based approval WF for my customer (WS14500015), using the BAdI BBP_WFL_APPR_WORKFLOW, Method GET_REMAINING_APPROVERS.
I have the situation, that a SC (BUS2121) is created with two items, the approver list looks as follows:
                                       Itm1    Itm2
Appr1    EMPLOYEE_3      x         x
Appr2    MANAGER_1        x
Appr3    MANAGER_3        x         x
When the approval process comes two MANAGER_1 I expect that he only sees the item he is responsible for and not both. At least this is what the indicator 'HIDE_ITEMS_NOT_RESPONSIBLE' implies.
In my LT_APPROVER table I have 5 entries, they all point to the right approval object ID.
Does anyone have a clue what is missing or which additional indicator needs to be set?

hi,
I dont think this is possible with the Header level approval workflow!You may need to think abt the item level approval workflow to distinguish between the items to be sent to the different approvers.

  • Setting value of items based on a radio group selection

    Hi,
    I have a radio group with 3 values (let's say A, B, C)... at the moment I have dynamic actions set to hide and unhide items based on the selection from the radio group...
    e.g when value A is selected then only item_1 and item_2 are displayed, when value B is selected then only item_3 and item_4 are displayed... and so on...
    idea was to let users to only enter information related to specific selection... but with what I currently have, users can select option A from the radio group and can enter information in item_1 and item_2 and then they can change there minds and select option B and start entering information in item_3 and item_4 and when they save the form they potentially could have information in all items (item_1 to item_4 and so on)...
    Is there a way I can set the value of certain items to null based on the selection from the radio group... e.g when user select option A, then values of item_3 and item_4 be set to null and if they select option B, then values of item_1 and item2 be set to null...
    Please advice how to approach it the best... I would appreciate a step by step solution as I am a new bee...

    Hi,
    You can hide and disable other items.
    Disabled items values are not submitted.
    And you can create after submit computation that set NULL to item session state according your radio group state

    Hi All,
    I have line item based approval workflow WS14500015. My shopping cart has multiple line items each awaiting approval from multiple approvers.
    Now my requirement is when any approver approves his line items , that particular line items should not be allowed for changes even though the shopping cart has status awaiting approval coz others line items are still awaiting approval .
    Is this possible i.e user should be able to make changes to unapproved line items abut not approved line items .
    Can i user badi BBP_WFL_SECURE_BADI for this ?? Please if anyone has already done this please share your inputs .

    have you checked the APPROVAL_HISTORY_TABLE and ITEM_APPROVAL_HISTORY_TABLE? Here you will receive information on already approved items and the current approval process.

  • Item Based Automatic Approval

    Hi,
    Is it possible to set up a workflow so that an automatic approval is performed at item level?
    The requirement is that if the Item is incomplete (i.e. will go on to create a PR), then the item is automatically approved.
    I have an expression to determine if an item is incomplete, but can only select decision type 1 for the Automatic (System) Approval.
    Help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    You can go for Item based decision for partial document (i.e., decision type 4).
    Example:
    In the first process level, check for the incomplete level of the item based on the expression, if it is incomplete skip the level and go for automatic approval in the next step.

  • How to render web items based on the authorisation profile of the user

    Hello,
    Is there any way to render web items based on the authorisation profile of the user. The only way i can think of is:
    - Write ABAP to look up into the security mapping tables.
    - Convert the ABAP report into RFC-Enabled FM. The selection variables will be part of the import/export parameters of FM and table can be used to display the result.
    - Create HTML template using WAD, write Java Script to call the FM and map the import/export parameter. Display the result in Table.
    But i don't know How to use the Java Script to call Function Module (FM) and get back the authorization through parameter.
    Is anyone know about it or is there any other method to do it? I can't find any solution and it is very critical for me.
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Do you mean that you want certain users to be able to use only certain web items? I think you can use the libraries for that and assign them to roles:

  • Show or Hide Items based on radio value

    I am trying to show and hide various Items based on the values of a radio button item. I have see the code and examples like

    Show Item1, Item2, Item4
    I am fairly new to this so it might be easy, I just don't know how.

  • Changing the status of the sales order item based on reason for rejection

    Hi All,
    When a Sales order item is rejected then the status at the item level is changed as 'TECO'.When the reason for rejection is removed the status 'Teco' is reset.This status change can be achieved using the user exit 'MV45AFZZ'.But the exit does not allow re-atp calculation whenver a blocked item is release.I have use the exit 'MV45AFZB' ,through this the status change as well as re-atp calculation takes place.But the status changed(Based on reason of rejection) does not appear in the same screen.The change gets reflected only when the sakes order is saved and i open it again.
    I want the status change to appear in the same screen.I am doing my code in the form 'userexit_check_vbap' of the exit 'MV45AFZB'. Please let me know if there are any user exits or BADI's available for the same(Changing the status of the sales order item based on reason for rejection ).

    If you want the report you can create a separate SIS report . In that take the input field  as a Reason for rejection.. and ask for the output the list of sales orders .Now when you check this user defined report you will give the reason for rejection and check what all orders got rejected on that reason for rejection.

    The relationship with main item is stored with CRMD_ORDERADM_I- Parent.
    You need to pass the guid of main item to orderadm_i-parent. This will keep the relationship with main item.

  • Item based on a formula in a custom folder

    Hi, actually I'm using Discoverer 4i and I have a problem when I create (with the administrator) an item based on a formula inside a custom folder.
    The item is based on the following formula :
    GET_THRESHOLD(Name,'XXI_SZF_SLA_Thresholds_Kormos') -- (1)
    where:
    GET_THRESHOLD is a function that returns a number
    Name is the first parameter (and at the same time another item of the custom folder)
    'XXI_SZF_SLA_Thresholds_Kormos' is an hardcoded value.
    So..when I wrote the formula into the Item Properties, this is written correctly and when I connect with Desktop or Viewer my report works correctly.
    But when I close and I re-open the administrator, I see the following formula
    GET_THRESHOLD(Name,'XXI') -- (2)
    .....how it was saved in a wrong way....or truncated....
    I tried to check also the flag "Automatically save changes after each edit"....but I see always, after I reopened the administrator, the formula (2) and not the formula (1)
    Is seems that my changes are not saved !!
    Is this a bug ? Can I fix it in some way ?

    hi,
    1. Try to execute the function manually by passing the same value.
    2. Discoverer formats the names of Items/folders/parameters etc by replacing underscores ("_") with a space, so this might be the reason, why it converts the value to : 'XXI SZF SLA Thresholds Kormos' and takes only the first string "XXI".
    3. Try passing a value without "_".

    I have 2 lists Risks and RisksLookup.
    In Risks, I have Title, Description, service impacted and status columns.
    In RisksLookup, I have service impacted, AD1, AD2, AD3, AD4 and AD5.
    I have a requirement where in I have to write a Workflow to provide access to each List item based on the value of service impacted. i.e. If service impacted in Risks List is Client A, I have to lookup what all AD groups are present for Client A in RisksLookup
    List and provide access to only those groups for that item.

    create 5 more lists, dedicated to each impacted service. for  Each one these lists apply needeed right ( based onAD groups )Keep you main list where first level will add new items . Attach a workflow to this main list, which will start when an item
    is added and which will add specific item's value to his new list ( based on impacted service value )

    Is there a way to show only web app items based on the custom date field? For example, i want the module to only show web app item(s) whose "event date" is "today"....  ?? Help please!

  • Listing Items based on criteria e.g. High Priority Items First.

    Hi,
    One of our customers have a need to List High Priority Items first on the WebTools site.
    Let's take two ItemCodes for example: Printer001, and, Monitor001.
    >> If these two items are included in the same category then Monitor001 will appear before Printer001 as WebTools sorts in alphabetic ascending order;
    >> But, our customer wants Printer001 to appear before Monitor001 as it is an Item higher in priority that Printer001.
    I can think of two possible solutions:
    1/2) Prefix Items with a number or letter to have it appear first in the WebTools default sort order. E.g. Rename "Monitor001" as "AMonitor001". This will not be possible for existing Items in SAP, so it doen't solve the issue,
    Or,
    2/2) Customize the Default WebTools Item List block to sort Items based on a User Define field called "pririty". Which might require a lot of effort.
    Please advise if anyone else has solved similar issue and how.

    Hey Kafil ... I think you may be stuck modifying the parts list page or creating something from scratch. I'm not aware of an easy way to do this out of the box.

    GREAT info, but it may be helpful to note that when replacing a portion of the variable "Countries" with a whitespace character, you may cause the workflow to fail in a few specific cases (certain lookup fields will not accept this and will automatically
    cancel).  I only found this out when recreating your workflow on a similar, but much more complex list set.  
    To resolve this issue, I used another utility action (Extract Substring from Index of List) to clear out the whitespace.  I configured it as "Copy from
    Variable: Countries, starting at
    1 (Output to Variable: Countries), which takes care of this issue in those few cases.

    Please check the below function modules:-
    BAPI_GL_ACC_GETBALANCE         Closing balance of G/L account for chosen year
    BAPI_GL_ACC_GETCURRENTBALANCE  Closing balance of G/L account for current year
    BAPI_GL_ACC_GETPERIODBALANCES  Posting period balances for each G/L account
    Otherwise you can also code your logic in the same way as in BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS function module.

    Line item reports (defined w/KE91) will reflect the realignment.  Line item display (KE24/KE25) will give you the choice of reading the original posting or the realigned data.
