WWDC Activation Not working?

Hi
It's been 10 days - I purchased WWDC 2008 videos but the activation link I received does not work. I've called support 40 times, emailed 20 times without any luck. My issues get "escalated" but no one has gotten back to me. I'll finally get a refund as I've expressed my extreme anger to the support staff just now.
Has anyone else had similar issues? I've tried every single browser but the link does not work. Submitting it refreshes the page but nothing happens. Connect.apple.com doesn't even recognize the code as a ADC product!

I am having the same problem. I purchased the WWDC 08 iPhone video set last week, and within a day received an email containing the activation code. The code does not appear to work. If I click the link in the activation email that I received, which is to "http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/videos/?code=xxxxxx" (code value replaced with "xxxxxx" here), the page is not found. If I instead go to the Activations page of my ADC membership, the code is not recognized as an ADC product, whether I enter the code with the dashes or without the dashes between the numbers.
I have sent two emails to the support email address, but have so far received no reply.
You may want to think twice before purchasing a WWDC video set....

  • Email activity not working on Clients site

    Hi,
    I created a Bpel process that contains an email activity, It works fine when I am connected to the Oracle network through VPN and while i am in the Oracle office.
    But when I am at the clients site or connected through VPN, it doesnt work at all.
    when I configure my ns_emails.xml to Oracle's info, it works fine but when its configured to clients info, it doesnt work.
    I have configured ns_emails.xml and wf_config.xml
    This is my ns_emails.xml when I am at the clients site._
    note:_ Since I am not using the Default domain for deployment, I changed the <Name> under <EmailAccount> to cdmsd since I am deploying my Bpel processes to the cdmsd domain.

  • Font Auto-Activation Not Working After First Use

    Anyone else seeing this problem, or have a fix? Font auto-activation stops working after the first use. Here's what happens: Open a file that contains a font that is installed, but is disabled in Font Book. The dialog box "Application wants to use the font XXX". Click on Allow. The font will be available, as you expect. Now quit the application. Open the file again - you won't get the dialog box asking permission to use the font, and the font is not available. This happens in Pages 3.0.1 and TextEdit 1.5. It happens for each individual font - in other words, continuing my description, if you now open a second file that has another font that is disabled in Font Book, you'll be asked permission to use it. But once you've allowed a particular font to be used, you won't be asked permission again.

    Make a backup.  Restore the device as new.  Test the issue again.  If it persists, your device needs service.  If the issue disappears, restore your backup.  If it then reappears, then there is some form of corrupt data on the device from the backup.  You'll have to restore that data one portion at a time to determine what is causing it, or set up the device as new.

  • Windows 8.1 OEM Activation not working anymore ?

    After asking here on the forum about restoring a deleted partition which question has been solved. We run into another problem.
    My sister recently infected the Laptop at a point it became UNUSABLE! The HDD kept filling up, She had over 400GB remaining (girls stuff, unlike guys, they don't download many stuff); but suddenly the HDD filled up from 400GB remaining to 5GB
    And...the computer is VERY SLOW at start, it used to take just few seconds to boot, but it took almost 5 minutes to boot when it was infected. We tried many antivirus softwares, the laptop came with a preinstalled one (can't remember which one), beside this, we tried Kaspersky, Avira, Avast, Eset and other Antivirus softwares.
    Most of them failed to scan C:/ Drive with a error message such as "unable to scan  drive c".
    So our best option was to reeinstall the system.
    I firstly backep up the OEM Activation Keys (supposedly encrypted in the BIOS). I found useful tutorials online which allowed me to show which activation key is beinf used, so I just copied it in a safe place just in cas somthing go wrong. I didn't use a thirdparty software to display the key! Just Windows tools. A thirdparty application can't be VERY trustfull in term of Licence Keys.
    I then downloaded a guenuine Windows 8.1 Pro from MSDN website with a product key.
    The installation went flawlessly but when I restarted I noticed Windows Wasn't activated!
    I then tried to use the earlier backed up key, sadly it didn't work, windows said that I can't use this key with this edition of windows.
    My questions are:
    - Can someone tell me WHY can't I use the OEM Activation on all windows edition ?
    - Is there any way to get it working on all editions anyways ?
    - Will a full reinstallation of Windows 8.1 Non-Pro version be activated automatically by the BIOS ?
    - If I buy an activation key for windows 8.1 pro, will this key somehow interfere with the one in the BIOS ?

    1. No it works only for that version that is made for Preminum for Preminum not Preminum for Professional that is a different Product Key.
    2. No, You will have to buy each O/S with different Product Key to activiate them
    3. No, If that O/S doesn't match the Product Key for the previous O/S it will not work or activiate giving you only 30day trial.
    4. No, it will not interfere it will though ask for the new Product Key from the Windows 8.1 Pro to activiate it.
    So Product Keys are not tranferrable with the exception that if the replacement Windows Retail matches the previous Product Key Windows O/S version will permit the installation and comes the possiblity that you will have to reactiviate online to verify the Product key to get the O/S working.

    I have a problem with email notification in SAP BPC 7.5.
    I want to configure an email notification to whenever an instance is activated.
    I have followed one How-To guide and basically I have created and activated a template in SAP GUI with transaction se38 and a program called UJB_MAINTAIN_EMAIL_TMPL.
    Also, the web server was configured by systems admin.
    But still is not working.
    I am completely new with SAP BPC so I donu2019t know what more can I do to solve the problem.

    You can greatly improve your chance of receiving a helpful answer to your question if you state the version (MS or NW) of BPC which you are using.

  • Offline Activation Not Working

    I'm trying to use my CS 6 software (which I purchased and have the license #) on a Mac Pro computer that does not have an internet connection. The offline activation system is not working for me - I get an error message saying the request code or serial number is Invalid. I have done this numerous times and have typed these codes in correctly. The Adobe chat line people have not been of no help whatsoever. Who can I speak to at Adobe to solve this problem? I own the software and I want to use it on my computer.

    Yes it quit itself silently .... and i dont know why... i have to say .. that i have adobe photoshop CC  too ... and its working perfectly .... but i need cs6 for my work too ..:/

  • BT Sport activation not working

    I have just switched to BT phone and Broadband. When I try to activate my BT Sport for use with laptop / App the automated checker keeps telling me I do not have Broadband. Clearly I do have Broadband with BT, so why can I not activate BT Sport?
    I can see on the forum I am not the only one to have had these problems. I have tried some of the solutions suggested, but it does not work.  Phoning BT has so far meant a 20 minute minimum wait for an answer on each occasion. 
    I am regretting leaving Plusnet, who were brilliant at customer support and responded promptly both by phone and online. But I am where I am.......so anyone any bright ideas what I can try?

    Well, I managed to find myself in contact with the Executive Level Complaints team. My problem was resolved and BT Sport is now working.  I received excellent support from the ELC and can only say they did a great job.
    I hope some form of training for the rest of the BT support team comes out of this. The ELC found the problem and fixed it very quickly, just a shame their normal support operation wasn't as efficient.
    Anyway, for now I am a happy BT customer.

    The rule session 100061 failed because an instance of the fact oracle.tip.mediator.rules.model.DynamicRouting could not be found in the working memory of the rule session.     This solution makes use of the Phase activity. You can only configure the input and output of this activity. All the components and wiring is then automatically created for you. Finally you add the dynamic routing actions in the decision table and it is finished.
    On runtime when looking into the flow trace we see the correct data being sent to the mediator that does the dynamic routing based on the decision table. So the correct data is added as a fact to the working memory. But somehow no rule(s) are fired so the DynamicRouting fact is not being instantiated.
    Did anyone succeed in using the functionality? What could be the problem...

    I also followed the tutorial and am experiencing the same problem above:
    "Fact not found in the rule engine working memory, rule session execution failed. The rule session 1480978 failed because an instance of the fact oracle.tip.mediator.rules.model.DynamicRouting could not be found in the working memory of the rule session...."
    Checked the composer and it seems like everything that should be there, is there...
    No hits on Google or Metalink and now I'm stuck.
    Can anybody please assist?

  • Office 365 Pro Plus Shared Activation not working or staying activated

    Hello,
    Environment is one Remote Desktop Server Session Host on 2012 r2 fully updated with a fully updated standard 2012 r2 domain controller. I have four users on Office 365 E3 Plan.
    The problem I am having - the activation is not persisting across the user either logging off or opening different Office applications. When I open the Office application I get this error - http://i.imgur.com/3fLdmr7.png . If I click OK, it prompts
    me to Activate and then sign in, which I do. This then lets me use Word/Excel etc. If I then close Word, and re-open it I go straight back to the error message.
    I followed the instructions here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn782858(v=office.15).aspx and subseqently here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/43419d08-4517-45e8-8cb6-ccec1b8b85bf(v=office.15)#BKMK_ConfigureCmd to install.
    As per the guidance here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn782859(v=office.15).aspx when I go to File > Account I can see that it looks like infographic A so that is correct. The SharedComputerLicensing value is in the registry and set
    to 1. In my %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Licensing I have four files {GUID}.authString, {GUID}.authString.txt.previous, {GUID}.signingCert, {GUID}.signingCert.txt.previous
    I have a tried a full removal and re-install of Office and this made no difference.

    Hello. I actually raised a support request to Microsoft about this. It seems from my testing that when using user profile disks in 2012 r2 that shared activation doesn't work. Last update this was with engineering team at MS. Will update when they have
    confirmed this is an actual bug.

  • CS3 Indd Auto Activation not working

    I am using CS3 Indd 5.04 and can't seem to get the fonts to load automatically. Using suitcase 11.5.01. I have activation on in suitcase program. Do I not have something set correctly in InDesign?

    I would guess that you're using 11.0.5.1 (not 11.5.0.1 )? At any rate, Suitcase's auto-activation has been problematic for quite a while. I've found it works on some computers and doesn't work on others running the same operating system version and other software. The only thing I can recommend is, make sure that you actually have the plug-in activated in InDesign (I seem to remember it's the menu item InDesign > Preferences > Suitcase).

    I have contacted Harry (Norton Support) asking for help again, but have not received a response yet.  Hopefully he can stir the embers at Norton and get us an answer, as I have been unable to.
    There is nothing else I can do to assist without Norton assistance - sorry!

  • Record enabling via slide activation not working?

    Hello,
    I'm a long time Cubase user who is new to Logic, and I came across the section in the manual entitled "Track Button Slide Activation". (p. 118) It says this should work for the Record Enable button, but it does not. Works fune for Mute, Solo, Hide and Protect (haven't tried Freeze or Node), but not for Record Enable. Am I missing something?

    I've been working through the manual and discovered the ability to add tracks to a permanent group, as opposed to the temporary group referred to on p. 269. However, Rec Enable still doesn't work on the entire group unless you click this button in the Arrange Window. It doesn't work in the Track Mixer. I suppose it's not supposed to, since the group option is called "Arrange Track Record", but I find this very strange.
    Re: p. 269, though - I guess that is totally wrong then? Sure seems like it.

  • Enable/disable sound activations not working ...

    We're trying to do something simple -- add music or narration MP3s to a PDF on a page-by-page basis. Adding the sound is easy, and I can click on the play button and it plays. But the <Activation Settings> in the <Edit Sound> window aren't working. <br /><br />We want the sound to play when the end user (using Reader 9) moves from page to page. But choosing, for example, <Enable When> <The page containing the content is opened> and <Disable When> <The page containing the content is not visible> doesn't work. Nothing happens.<br /><br />It should -- and does -- work in other PDFs ... for example, a promotional PDF that Adobe sends out <Acrobat9_Discovery_Kit.pdf> viewed in Reader plays back page-by-page sound just fine. <br /><br />We're on Mac OS running 10.4.11 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0.0 and Adobe Reader 9.0.0.<br /><br />Any ideas? <br />Thanks,<br />Bradley
