XI 2004s configuration

Hello everybody,
Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to configure XI 04S? and what are the material requirements?
I'm new in XI and i worked on the configuration of XI 3.0 but i haven't allready configured XI 2004s, so i wondered how long it takes approximatively?

Erp 2004 configuration

Hi,
I installed ECC5.0 in my system and started working in BW with the step - by - step guide book.
In chapter 10 the replication of data etc were described. When i attempted to do it it could not be completed. After this, though I am able to log on to the system with SAPUSER( an user created by me) I am unable to go to administer workbench of BW.
As this erp2004 demo is having a builtin bw add-on, I need to know the congiuration settings one had to do initially on succesful installtion so that the R/3 objects such as 0plant and others are readily available for use and we can create queries and web reporting be done.
Shall be greatful for your immediate response.

I get a message of "Entry in inbound table already exist" and unable to go to the administer workbench of BW.
Need more info to solve the problem.

ESS Configure steps in ECC 6.0

Hello ESS experts,
I am working on Functional ESS upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0 (EP 7.0). We have installed all the required BSP's. Our company want to keep all the functionalities as they used in 4.6c ESS in Portal, from 46c to ECC 6.0 there is bit difference in IMG configure. Can anyone advise me how should I follow from backend R/3 to configure in IMG as per ESS requirement. Is I need to configure whole ESS configuration in ECC 6.0 in order to get those functionalities. I am comparing 46c staging to ECC 6.0 to make some analysis. Any upgrade documents.

Dreamweaver MX 2004 can't delete extension

I was updrading my version of Dreamweaver from 7 to 7.0.1 and
was asked to switch off my extensions I did this for all the
extensions except 1, which was "WebAssist.com SiteAssist", and when
I attempted to de-select it, Extension Manager locked and was not
responding.
I could not also delete it similar with similar result. I
have now installed Ver 7..1 of MX2004 and I still can't delete I
get Extension manager locking and giving No Response.
If I try to de-select it in Extension manager I get this
message:
The file'C:\Documents and Settings\Jim\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX
2004\configuration\Shared\WebAssist\SiteAssist\Images\ad\2006-01-01.jpg'
is missing. The extension package will not be created.
Has anyone got any idea how I can delete this extension so
ican re-install it, I can't install it for when I try I get the
same message.

it's probalby not compatible with your os.
if you're using windows, you can try using compatibility mode which may (or may not) allow installation and some degree of functionality.

2004 Director project Xtra (text)

Hello. I am trying to recompile a project that was done on a
mac so that it will run on windows. The project is quite old. I
have some dir files and some x32 files. The x32 files were all
grabbed off the net.
The problem that I am having is that whenever I try and
publish the movie, it complains with the message "An application
requires an Xtra (Text) that either does not exist or failed to
initalize properly. Please make sure the appropriate xtras are in
the xtras folder."
Now this happened with a bunch of xtras before, and I was
able to create a folder called xtra and then download the x32 files
to that directory. This one however is giving me lots of problems.
THe Xtra (TextXtra.x32 340kb) is in the xtras folder as well but
for some reason it doesnt detect it. I tried to remove it under
modify -> movies -> xtra but it just comes back, I cannot
remove it.
I have also tried various versions of this file. My question
is how do i elliminate either a) the need for my project to use
this file or b) the error message from occuring.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how director works and am
learning as I go. Is there some way to list the sections that call
this particular extra so I can see about removing them or
substituting them with something else? Where do I look to try and
solve this problem.
It would also be nice to know what the heck this file is
doing for my project. Maybe it isnt even used? I have no idea!

As I understand it, you had an old Director file that you've
updated to D10 and now
you're getting missing Xtra messages with your new projector.
The reason the
message pops up is because the Xtra is not bundled with the

This folder contains the core set of Xtras that come with

bundled with your
projector.

EP 7.0 and Back End System Connection + Management

Hello All,
I am trying o configure certain Backend system with my Portal System in our landscape. Actually I want to implement a scenario where i can manage all the system via my Portal itself. My backend systems are ECC 5.0 , Solution Manager 3.2 SR1, R/3 4.7 SR1, BW 3.5 & CRM 4.0.
Till now I have configured the SSO between the Portal and the target system. But Now I am confused with how to proceed further for achieving this scenario.

You have mentioned that SSO configuration between portal and backend system is done. So you are almost done with CRM part.
You can download the ESS/MSS package from SDN and import into your portal.
This you can get it from SDN. Click on downloads from the top level navigation in sdn. A page is displayed. Click portal content portfolio. In the right hand side panel you click on list of packages. From there choose your correct ESS and MSS package and Keyword search option enter that and search. You will get the downloads.

How to add existing warehouse to the existing item in OITW

Hi,
Could somebody help me to resolve this problem:
I try to add via SDK (using ItemWarehouseInfo object) existing item to existing warehouse - OITW table (our SBO v.2004 configured to not open automatically all warehouses for all items). - like via Item card user adds manually warehouse code in the stock tab. There is code i use:
if oItems.GetByKey("ItemCode")
    oItems.WhsInfo.WarehouseCode = "WarehouseCode"
    oItems.WhsInfo.Add()
    oItems.Update()
endif
but SDK instead of add new record to the OITW replaces existing record with other warehouse code (like update).
What have i do to resolve this issue ?

new records are not added in OITW when you add existing items to existing warehouses. OITW will have new records only when you create new warehouse through UI or SDK. in all transaction that follow, the respective warehouse quantity in OITW will be updated. how about using StockTransfer object? it does what you want.

More than one Windows ACS Remote Agent

We recently added a second Windows Remote Agent to have Windows authentication service available for our two ACS.
Agent definition (CSAgent.ini) is correct but in Network Configration - Remote Agent (on each ACS web console) we see that the second Remote Agent is "available" but "not in use" (while the first one is, of course).
If we stop the CSAgent Service on the first Remote Agent server, we do not see any activity on the second one (auth not working) and service still remains "avilable" but "not in use".
Then, debugging with csagent.exe -z -p all we can see is something like:

You must use ACS Remote Agent for Windows, version 4.0, with ACS Solution Engine, version 4.0. Other releases of Cisco Secure ACS are not supported.

OnClick JavaScript error

I have made several changes to my nav bar through Fireworks
and exported, which I have done a million times, but this time when
I inser Fireworkd HTML image it gives me the following message:
While executing onClick in Fireworks HTML.htm, the following
JavaScript error occurred:
At line 438 of File C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
MX 2004\Configuration\Shared\MM\Scripts\InsertFireworksHTML.js":
TypeError: menuFn.match(searchPatt)has no properties.
I should tell you we have two sites we are putting this in.
One to test pages and one that is live.
Any help would be great!

Don't use FW menus.
You can try this simple fix -
Quit DW.
Find this folder -
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
(these folders are normally hidden - you may have to use
Explorer > Tools >
Folder Options to unhide them)
or on Mac -
Library/Application Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver
8/Configuration/MacFileCache-*.dat
and delete it.
Restart DW. Works better?

Paste error in code window, Dreamweaver MX, v. 7.0.1

Hello, Everyone!
     I am running Dreamweaver MX, version 7.0.1 on a Dell Optiplex 990 running Windows 7. As far as I can remember, initially Dreamweaver ran properly. At some point, however, it developed a really frustrating problem. If I try to paste in the code window, an error box appears, with the following message:

ReferenceError: run is not defined
     I can copy from the code window and paste to the design window, and I can copy and paste within the design window (and can copy from windows of other open programs to the design window). When I try to paste in the code window, however, I get the above error. If I highlight text, I can move it to different places, but I cannot copy it and then paste it.
     I was hoping that someone would have a fix for this.

     That worked! I did have to do a bit of looking for the cache file, though, because it is in a different place, and has a different name, from what is shown in the article that the link leads to. Mine is in:
C:/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming/Macromedia/Dreamweaver MX 2004/Configuration
and it is called FileCache.dat, not WinFileCache.dat.
     I don't know if it has anything to do with the way Dreamweaver was installed (it's a work computer, and the computer group installed it), but "Username" in the above was not the name associated with the actual user account, but was the name for the administrator's account.
     In any case, thanks for the help! It will make using Dreamweaver a lot easier!

7206 G1 boot issue: No interface specified for interface_command

I can't seem to find out what this command means? I am pasting a config into a new router, do I need to paste in a certain order?
It boots just fine after it decompresses again, but it leaves me with a very lengthy boot time.

Those must be coming from the boot image, which doesn't have all the feature support as the regular IOS image. The messages are just warnings when configuring some of the features that the boot images doesn't understand.

I get this error when trying to view in browser, on two
different computers
While executing receiveArguments in PIB_Dynamic.htm, the
following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

Quit DW.
Find this folder -
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
(these folders are normally hidden - you may have to use
Explorer > Tools >
Folder Options to unhide them)
Delete it. Restart DW and hopefully you're fixed.

"Can't locate macromedia flash" error

I keep getting the error message "cant' locate
macromedia flash" and can't seem to get rid of it. I have tried
downloading the uninstall software twice, but to no avail. I also
can't locate the flashplayer on my computer. I have windows
XP

This is a bug in Extension Manager where from time to time
one of the XML files that Dreamweaver uses gets corrupted in some
fashion and Extension manager can't edit it any longer. I've found
that it's Menus.xml in the User folder that tends to be the issue.
For DW8, the file should be located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\[UserName]\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Menus\menus.xml
Mac:
HD:Users:username:Library: Application
Support:Macromedia:Dreamweaver MX
2004:Configuration:Menus:Menus.xml
So, how to to fix this issue. Sometimes you can uninstall all
of your extensions and reinstall them one at a time.
If that doesn't work, then you may be able to get away with
deleting the Menus.xml file (make sure it is only the one within
the username folder and not within the program install folder).
Note: this action will cause any extension that added menu items to
have those menu items removed. disabling and reenablign the
extensions shoudl bring them back.
Failing that, removing the user configuration folder (or even
renaming it) may help. Note: This will cause all extensions to be
removed from within Dreamweaver, so you'll have to reinstall.
If none of that works, then you may have to resort to
uninstalling DW, removing the user configuration folders, and then
reinstalling DW.

Error when saving template

I have a site with around 100 pages, all based on a single
template that has never given me problems until now. My template
includes a pop up menu that I made in Fireworks. I am not trying to
make changes to the popup menu. I am only trying to add some links
in an editable region of the template. It has always worked fine
until now.
I make the change, then proceed to save the template. It asks
me if I want to apply changes to all pages, I say yes of course,
but then this message appears.
"You are attempting to edit a pop up menu in an unsaved
document. This could cause your menus to appear incorrectly or not
at all when the document is previewed in a browser.
We strongly recommend that you save your document before
proceeding."
Cancel or Ok
If I click on OK, the next window says,
“At line 1620 of file Mac HD:Applications: MAcromedia
Dreamweaver MX 2004: Configurations: Behaviors: Actions: Show Popup
Menu.js: the function saveDoc is currently unavailable."
OK:
I click on OK because that is the only option, the DW
proceeds to do the same for each of my 100 pages! Until it finally
unexpectedly quits!
I have downloaded the trial of DW 8 and the same thing
happens.
Can someone give me a solution here?

There's no way to know how errors creep into pages, but this
particular page
has duplicate instances of the javascript to support those
menus - look at
the code.

But - having done all of that, you are still left with a menu
system that is
basically uneditable in the template file....
I'm sorry Macromedia did this to you. Really....
