  • CTS+ : Error while importing transport into Portal QA system

    Hi All,
we have configured CTS+ for Portal systesms, then we have created a
test transport in Portal Development system (PD5). SOlution manager is the communication systesm. We are also able to release this transport from transport organizer web UI.
This tranpsort is available in transport queue of Portal Qua system , but on importing this transport in PQ7 we are getting following
    error
Problem during file access, stopping. Error is:'The file (/usr/sap/trans_SM/data/PD5K900003/Test_CTS_20110215_031956.epa) does

We have checked in /usr/sap/trans_SM/data/PD5K900003/ file
    Test_CTS_20110215_031956.epa exist.
CTSDEPLOY and sap.com/com.sap.tc.di.CTSserver connection are working fine.

  • CE 7.30, CM Services/CTS+: Error when creating DEV system in STMS

    Hi,
first of all: Happy new year
    This is our scenario:
CM Services are running under CE 7.30 and CTS+ is running on PI 7.11 system (Support Package 7).
I followed this guide to configure CTS+ on our PI 7.11 system:
    [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/b08abb67-0e34-2d10-78b8-e7246ad93fb2|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/b08abb67-0e34-2d10-78b8-e7246ad93fb2]
When we create the DEV system in STMS, we tick the checkbox "Development configuration" and give the URL to the SLD of our CE system (http://sapt62.xxx.com:56200/sld/).
But when the changes are distributed (I guess that's the time when the CM development configuration is created in the CE system), we get the following error message:
com.sap.di.cts.config.service.core.exception.DIConfReadNameServerException: "Unable to read name server from landscape directory "http://sapt62.xxx.com:56200/sld" using user "NWDI_CMSADM" [DICONF_READNAMESERVER]: Received response is not a CIM Operation Response! Check "http://sapt62.xxx.com:56200/sld/" is the correct URL for the SLD CIM Object Manager (default is "http://sapt62.xxx.com:56200/sld/cimom") and that user "NWDI_CMSADM" has access to the SLD via http and is not required to change his/her password.
What can be the reason for that?
The password for user NWDI_CMSADM is configured correctly on the CTS+ system.
Could it be that the username/password for NWDI_CMSADM is configured somewhere in SLD?
After the DEV system has been created we click on the "Development Configuration" button in STMS, the browser pops up with the CM Services and the following message:
    Missing application ID
    Thanks in advance!

I've seen now that a Development configuration has been created in our CE system.
But I cannot open it from STMS on our CTS+ system, because it gives me the "Missing application ID" message in the popping up browser.
    Is that normal?
    Another thing I've discovered:
When I try to use the "Synchronize service" functionality for my CTS Dev Conf to load the missing SCA files, I always get this message when I click on "next":
Failed to process the request: Request refers to an unknown session
When I use the "Import service" instead, it gives me a NullPointer exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.hashCode() of an object loaded from field com.sap.engine.session.AbstractSessionHolder.sessionId of an object loaded from local variable 'this'

  • XI CTS+ Error: Software component version missing

We have CTS+ set-up on our XI systems but there appears to be a problem when importing a transport into the target system.
From the transport log on the ABAP side, the error that we're getting is:
    class java.rmi.RemoteException:
    com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.ResourceException: Software component version missing
I suspect that there are some parameters missing in the SLD but am unsure exactly which ones.
I looked into the document 'How To... Configure Enhanced CTS for SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure 7.0 SP13' but this did not help.
    Many thanks for any assistance.
    Best regards,
    Matthew Harris

    Yaghya,
    Thanks for that information.
(Given that I am also the developer of the scenario, finding out the name of the software component was easy!!)
However, the cause of the error appeared to be down to having both Repository and Directory content contained within one transport request.
Once these were seperated out into individual transport requests then individually imported (Repository content first), the error was resolved.
    Best regards,
    Matthew

  • CTS + Error when Importing to target system (Q)

    Hi all,
    I have configured CTS+ for our portal landscape. I'm using Solman 7.0 as domain controller. I have released a transport from D system to Q, It creates a Q buffer properly. But when I try import in Q, I get the following error;
Internal communication error with destination CTSDEPLOY
ERROR_WEBSERVICE_RUNTIME_INIT Error when instantiating the Web service runtime (No logical port 'CTS
    >>>DEPLOY' exists for the proxy c lass 'CO_TFLDEPLOY_PROXY_VI_DOCUMENT' )
I am not able to fix this issue. Can someone help in this regards?
    Thanks,

    Do this:
    1. Call transaction RZ21.
    2. Choose "Technical infrastructure -> Reorganize segment table".
    3. Choose "Add missing logical ports to this client", and choose "Execute".

    Could you help me ?

    Hi,
the problem can be traced back to a problem with SSO.
The SSO ticket seems to be null. The question is why this happens.
Is your intention to run the system without SSO?
Then please verify that the value of the AII Property <code>com.sap.aii.ib.core.sso.enabled;code>
is set to false. If you want to use SSO then the property can be set to true but in this
case SSO has to be configured.
    Good luck!
    Frank

  • CTS + error during deployment There is no cluster control instance running on host

We are running our QA portal in a cluster (3 hosts..one for MS, 1 for ERS, 1 for JC).  The alias for the JC is <jcalias> and the real name of the host is <clustername1).  So depending on which component is one which of the 3 cluster hosts wil dictate which host <jcalias>.
But when trying to deploy a portal archive via CTS+, we get error:
Jul 24, 2014 11:18:12... Error: An error occured while starting a cluster instance.
Jul 24, 2014 11:18:12... Error: There is no clutser control instance running on host sapepqci which is described in SecureStorage .

    Jul 24, 2014 11:18:12... Info: ***** End of SAP J2EE Engine Deployment (J2EE Application) *****
I have checked the referenced not.  The profiles all use the JCALIAS as the host name, and in the configtool secure store it's also specified in admin/host/<SID>
If I change it in the secure store to the real name (clusterhost1) that the message server is giving, it will probably work.  But what happens in the future when, after a cluster resart, <jcalias> gets assigned to <clusterhost2> instead?  I'd rather be able to use the alias in secure store and for the message server to pick that name up and use it.

    as suspected, i can't boot.
it looks like the udev hook isn't working, because when crypt is run it can't find /dev/sda8, and on the console there's no sd* in /dev/. udev was listed three times, as an early hook, normal hook, and clean up hook.
starting to think i'm going to need a recovery cd, but at a year old, will it even work?
na forget that, i'm chrooted in from fedora, debian wouldn't let me for some reason. edit: i think it was mounted noexec...
    I've done:
    pacman -Syu --ignore glibc
    and that went fine
    then tried
    pacman -Su
and found i needed to delete those old kernel headers
then tried again and i get
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
    glibc: /lib exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
    but when i do this
    [root@nb lib]# find /lib -exec pacman -Qo -- {} +|grep -v glibc
error: cannot determine ownership of directory '/lib'
    [root@nb lib]#
it looks like everything unrelated to glibc is already gone, just the folder /lib itself is causing problems.
also i did a pacman -S linux, like i shouldn't have to begin with, but this time it was able to properly make a mkinitcpio image.
here's the other command the news page suggested to help fix the problem
    [root@nb lib]# grep '^lib/' /var/lib/pacman/local/*/files
    /var/lib/pacman/local/glibc-2.16.0-1/files:lib/

  • Error when I am trying to export a SDA/SCA from CTS+

    Hi,
We have configured NWDI and using CTS+ for transports.  We are using the DI CM Services concept. So we didn't create any Tracks in CMS.
When I am trying to create an export from CTS+ system -> Development Configuration-> DI Export Services -> SCA / SDA export.
In this wizard it is successfully running 3 steps., but in 4th step (CTS Request), when it is supposed to generate the Transport request using the transport organizer, it is giving the following message.
Error during read of Transport Organizer URL for system 'EPD' and user 'ABC': !NO_DEST_DETAILS_CHECK_STACKTRACE
Error during read of transport request for system 'EPD' and user 'ABC': !NO_DEST_DETAILS_CHECK_STACKTRACE!
I tried to find some info in the application log file but did not find much information except couples of line below.

I really appreciate, if some one can help.
    Thanks,
    Ramu J

    Hello Ramu
I see that you have not been able to find a solution for this.
Can you provide some more information which may help the other SDN posters to assist you?
    Thanks

Here is the short dump in the ABAP system.
    Short text of error message:
INTERNAL ERROR UPDATING REQUEST DESC OF RP1K900690
    Long text of error message:
    Technical information about the message:
    Message class....... "PU"
    Number.............. 601
Variable 1.......... "INTERNAL ERROR UPDATING REQUEST DESC OF"
    Variable 2.......... "RP1K900690"
    Variable 3.......... " "
    Variable 4.......... " "
I have checked the RFC destination in the J2EE Admin and that works OK.  This has me kind of stumped.

The model uses the destination DACC_PI_WS_METADATA_DEST and DACC_PI_WS_EXECUTION_DEST. I configured both destinations in the server with type "WSDL".
    Any idea what goes wrong?
    Regards,
    Christoph
