XI Debugging tool in the Configuration -Integration Builder

Hello to XI Experts,
I an testing the XI Debugging tool in the Configuration -Integration Builder
Menu Path is :  Tool->Test Configuration.
It is simple Idoc to Flat File Mapping and it gets executed .
However when I test it using the Test Configuration I am getting following error below.
Internal Error
HTTP connection to ABAP Runtime failed. Error: 403 Forbidden URL: http://dellsaperp:8050/sap/xi/simulation?sap-client=100 User: XIDIRUSER
There is no problem with mapping as it is getting executed  .I am unable to make the Test Configuration work.  Do we need to do any configuration to make this transaction work? Any clue?
Regards,
Prashanta Ghosh

Hi Prashanta -
In TC SICF, make sure the <i>simulation</i> service is activated.  Path should be <i>default_host/sap/xi/simulation.</i>   If not, right-click on <i>simulation</i> and activate service.

Jin

  • XI Configuration: Integration Builder..Cannot connect to repository

    Dear All,
I am facing a strange problem in our XI7 server SP11. When I click on the Tools-->Configuration Wizard in Integration Builder I am getting a error message "Cannot connect to repository "
    "com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: Cannot connect to Repository"
Please let me know the cause of the error. I have checked the configurations in Exchange Profile and its fine.
Please advice what should be done to correct the error.
    Warm regards

    Dear Jai,
One of the blog tells about the front end configurations..but this is not applicable in our case as evryone is facing the same issue.
The other blog mentions about the rfc connections and they are working fine.

  • How to configure Integration Builder using an Integration Process?

    Dear experts,
I have problems configuring the Integration builder using a Integration process.
Scenario = idoc to PI, integration process transforms idoc to file, file to external system.
My integration process starts with an abstract interface (structure of idoc) and ends with an abstract interface (structure of file). But I just can not configure the integration builder correctly...
    I did it as follows:
    Sender agreement: comm.component = SAP system; interface = Idoc;
    receiver determination: comm.component = SAP system; interface = Idoc; configured receiver = my integration process;
    interface determination: comm.component = SAP system; interface = Idoc; receiver = target system comm.component;
Receiver agreement: comm.component = SAP system; receiver =  target system comm.component; interface = filestructure of target
This does not work unfortunately. How can I pass the Idoc to my abstract interface? And how can I pass the result of my integration process (abstract interface) to the inbound interface? In the interface determination I can not select my Operation Mapping (but that should not be nessesary as I already created an Integration Process)...
    Hope anyone can help.
    Thanks and regards
    William

Just consider your BPM is receiver, and sender:
Src --> BPM  (BPM is Receiver)
    ==========
Sender Agreement (If it is IDOC or HTTP, then you do not have to create)
    Commnunication Channel
    Receiver Determination
    Interface Determination
BPM --> Target (BPM is sender)
    ============
    Receiver Determination
    Interface Determination
    Communication Channel
    Receiver Agreement
If your BPM interact with other systems, you will have more Receiver Determination and Interface determination, possible Receiver agreement
    Hope this clear your doubts

    Hi,
    >>My question is what will developers expect me to  configure, and what will developer be doing with   integration builder ? (tasks in broad terms)
    XI Developers needs Rights for
1 Usually the technical system configuration is carried out by basis or admin team
2 Integration builder - creating all design objects, configuration objects
    3. You have to provide access for the developer to monitor in RWB

  • Data not Updated Automatically in SLD to XI Integration Builder

I am trying to create a new software component in the SLD for use with our XI machine. However, when I do this, the component does not appear in the XI Integration Builder.
I have looked at the Automatically Updated Data page of the central SLD, and noticed that our XI J2EE system has not Auto-Updated with the SLD for quite some time, if ever.
Can somebody please give me some pointers how to sheck/configure this? Also, is there a way to update the information between the SLD and the XI system manually?
    Kind Regards,
    Tony.

I think the problem is the system cannot actually see the SLD for some reason.
If I try to access the SLD using the DNS name, I am unable to do so:
    http://dnsname:52300/sld/index.html
However, if I use the IP address direct, I can do so:
    http://192.xxx.xxx.xxx:52300/sld/index.html
I notice that when I try to access the SLD from the XI start page, the link is using the http://dnsname:52300/sld/index.html form, which isn't working.
Also, when I try to Import Software Component Versions from the Integration Builder menu, I get the error:
com.sap.aii.ibrep.client.swc.ExtSwcAccessException: Unable to read software component versions from System Landscape Directory "dnsname:52300"
So I'm thinking this may be some kind of DNS error, but I don't know how to resolve it.
    Any clues?

  • ABAP Proxy Error - Integration Builder address not maintained

I intend to use ABAP proxy between R/3 (ECC 6.0) and XI (PI 7.0).
On configuring the relevant connections, I run SPROXY and get the following error:
Integration Builder address is not maintained in the Exchange profile (Connections)
I have created the connx LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI from R/3 to PI but the connectivity does not work.
    On running the reports
    SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE
    SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION
    SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS
    SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION
    My question is:
What is the Program to be used in LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI? I have used LCRSAPRFC_<sys id of XI server>
and SAPSLDAPI_<sys id of XI server>
Should the XI Integration Builder address be maintained in R/3?
If yes, is there any place where IB address can be maintained in R/3 (I believe there is no such thing as exchange profile in R/3. then how can IB address be maintained in R/3??...pls correct if I am wrong)
If IB address of XI has to be maintained in R/3 then can anyone pls tell me how to do it?

Just recheck the steps with this and come up with doubts then
How do you activate ABAP Proxies?

  • Debugging tools in SAP Enterprise portal

    Hi All.
I need to find the debugging tools which can be used on the enterprise portal..
I had heard about Log watch tool.. How to use this tool?
Is it software do i need to deploy that dc or how to move further?
What is the best debugging tool for the portal? what are the other options
    Thanks
    Shravan

    Hi,
Log Watch is basically a tool which helps you to analyze the trace or logs generated for running an application. You can use the tool by running the application com.sap.tcepcommon~logWatch , but you must have the administrator role assigned to your user id. There are also three tool which helps while troubleshooting any problem in Portal. They are Navigation Reporter, Navigation Debugger, Diagnostic Tool.
Please have a look into the below URL about the tools and details of debugging in Portal.

  • SPORXY Integration Builder data not understood

    Hello everybody,
I want to connect a 6.20 System to our XI 7.0 (SP13). The Integration Engine in the 6.20 is maintained correctly (Application System, Destination works), the sldcheck works fine.
I use the table SPROXSET instead  of the exchangeprofile. The profile is empty, the SPROXSET has an valid entry (IFR_ADDRESS: http://systemDNSName:57000/rep).
The SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION says: HTTP communication functioning
But the test  =>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE and  ==>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION both show the failure: Integration Builder data not understood
Normally I connect 6.40 Systems to the XI, they work without a problem. Is there something special with 6.20 Systems?
    Regards,
    Thomas

    The Add-On is isntalled.
I found out something else. When I try the Connection Test No.3 - SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE (in the SPROXY), the IE opens the following Url:
    http://myHost:57000/rep/ifraccess?service=query&type=namespace
and I get a HTTP 404 Error. What is the correct Adress here?

  • Integration Builder under Linux

    Hi all,
during preparation for a migration project to Linux we‘re experimenting using the SAP Integration Builder Repository and Directory of a XI 2.0 on a Linux client. We got it start proper but the context menu is not working. So we are not able to use functions like export or activating changes. The right mouse button is working in other programs but not here. We thought it could be a problem of the used Java versions. So far we tried 2 combinations of  Java Web Start and Java 2 Runtime Environment:
    Java Web Start 1.4.2_04
Java 2 Runtime Environment: version 1.3.1_12 of Sun Microsystems Inc.
    Java Web Start 1.0.1_02
Java 2 Runtime Environment: version 1.3.1_12 of Sun Microsystems Inc.
Is anyone out there using the Integration Builder on a Linux client?
    Thanks in advance
    Andreas Paape

    Hi Andreas,
We may be in the future. I will check and get back to you on Monday.
    Kind regards

  • Configuration Template Builder gives error when selecting domain

    Hello,

I should point out why this is a problem for me. The config.xml of the
domain I'm tring to make a template for puts relative pathnames for the
location of some of the components. For example, JMS Event Generators
are put in the config.xml with a path of "."
If I run the Config Template Builder from the only directory from which
it works (the directory with the config.jar file, which is common/lib),
then these relative paths will not work. I get the error shown below

So, I wanted to try and run the Template Builder from the domain's

  • How to configure the Integration Builder connection Parameters

    Hi,
If I leave the integration builder for a while, then I explore objects, the pop up message is:
"Connection to server lost You can log on again once the server is available again Do you want to log on again?"
I input password, some times regain the connection, most time not, then if not, I have to restart integration builder. I would like to know where I can adjust parameters to allow connection kept longer.
    Thanks

    Hi, Swarup:
    Thanks for your reply.
The reality here is that we could not get solid support from BSAIS team, we came to many situations that we have to search around and tell them how to do the job like this (They are all afraid of Java Stack
I will keep search, if you have detailed information how to and where to configure those parameters, please let me know.

  • The launching time of integration builder is extremely longer

    Dear XI experts
I will tell you our story.
When I execute Demo examples (Chapter 5.1.3 Executing and Testing – XI 3.0 Demo Examples Configuration)
We got the error “STRING_BAD_REF dump when starting BSP application”, I found out the solution : SAP Note Number : 869197
We did upgrade to a 6.40 kernel patch level 48 as mentioned in the SAP note.
After that, whenever I launch (start) the integration builder, it takes for ages.
    Between [login screen]

    And [integration builder launching screen]
    http://static.flickr.com/35/117541397_4bc79529e8_o.jpg
Ironically the websites related to Java engine pop up as usual, such as SLD, Java start page and so on. Also after few minutes I can get the integration builder in front of my eyes. However, whenever I try to create objects or call some information from the server it also takes time.
Which part do I need to look at in details?
    Thank you for your reading.
I will appreciate your any comment.

    Hi,
check whether your xi server is working fine or is it down. If you are not able to open the integration builder, what is the exact error message you are getting.
How are you trying to open your IB.
Are you able to login to SAPGUI for the XI client.
If so try to provide the tcode sxmb_ifr and check whether you are able to open the IB.
