XI system down due to file generation in file System

Hi All,
We are facing one issue in our XI Prod system.
Messages will get sturck in inbound queue as system is frequently getting stoped due to insufficient space in the FileSystems .
This is happening due to generation of files heapdump.phd and javacore.txt in the file system (/usr/sap/PXI/DVEBMGS03/j2ee/cluster/server0 ), which are very huge in size.
After manually clearing up the space by deleting these files and restarting the system, the system will  come to normal functionality ,but again after some time we will get same issue .
Plese suggest me how can I fix this problem?
how can I stop  those file generation?
Thanks and regards
Uma

Hi,
you can overcome this problem by fallowing ways.
1. you can increese interface time out time.
2. Please check in table space in sap system.
3. check the data time out for FTP system also.

  • My Vista system crashed due to a corrupted windows file. When I reformatted C:/ & reloaded firefox & tbird, my bookmarks were gone. I have an image of the drive , but I don't know how to recover them and get the data back where I can access it.

Vista system crashed due to a corrupted system file. The C drive was reformatted, and windows reloaded, along with the rest of my programs.
Before the drive was reformatted, an image was made of it on a USB drive to save all the data. Now I need to know how to get the Bookmarks back for Firefox, and the Address Book back for Thunderbird.
    Thanks

Thanks for the quick response. It worked very well, for both Firefox and Tbird.
One hitch, until I remembered: those are all hidden files, in hidden folders. I had a devil of a time finding the "roaming" folder, until I found out how to unhide everything. In years past, I used DOS for that kind of thing. Explorer is much less user-friendly. Now that I know how to do it, it's simple.
    Thanks again for the guidance

  • Temporary file Generation issue - file Receiver Adapter(NFS)

    Hi Experts,
We are using Dynamic Configuration for generating the Dynamic File name as per the requirement in the File receiver communication channel with transport protocol NFS. As, per the requirement we need to use the "Use Temporary File" in write mode under processing parameter of File Receiver channel - as, the  temporary file creation is one of the requirement of the target system.
We have used the dynamic configuration for generating the Dynamic File name so, i have set the Adapter specific Message attribute for channel .
    Use Adapter Specific Message Attribute
    Fail if Adapter-Specific  Message Attributes
    File Name
Temporary Name Scheme for Target File Name
Now , at the run-time due to the last parameter Channel is giving the error.
" Could not process due to error: com.sap.aii.adapter.file.configuration.DynamicConfigurationException: The Adapter Message Property 'TargetTempFileName' was configured as mandatory element, but was not supplied in the XI Message header"
Request you all to suggest the workaround that the with Dynamic File Name generation we, can use the temporary file name generation scheme.
    Regards,
    Gaurav Jindal

    Hi ,
    Thanks for the reply.
If we are using the ASMA with the specific parameters:
    Use Adapter Specific Message Attribute
    Fail if Adapter-Specific Message Attributes
    File Name
And I have choose the  " Use Temporary File" in the Write mode of Processing Parameters.
As, per your suggestion, how we track the temporary file name is created as, i am not able to see that in the audit log.

  • Cannot resize system partition due to recovery partition

    Hello.
I have a 500GB HD (momentus XT) that replaced my default 320GB HD.
i cannot resize the system partition due to the recovery partition. System keeps on telling me that "map is too small".
Tried diskutil under osx, under lion bootable recovery usb stick, under diskutil through console.
Here is what diskutil tells me.
    ~ > diskutil list
    /dev/disk0
       #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER

    Checking volume bitmap
    Checking volume information
The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK
    Resizing
Error: -5341: MediaKit reports partition (map) too small
I want to resize the partition to use the remaining new space i have, of course, and create a bootcamp part.
I am wondering if i can kill the recovery partition without destroying my lion. As i have the recovery transfered successfully to usb stick using the apple utility, i am able to use it anytime.
But... just wondering if that would crash my OS or not.
Or, if anyone sees a way to move the recovery partition to end of the HD so that i can enlarge successfully...

Thanks to you both, luckily there's only 600GB on that drive at the moment.
I was wondering, though, why won't it let me make it bigger?
I already had a 1TB partition in the space below it. The screenshot shows me having already deleted it - but still no option to resize the other (larger) 2TB one.
If there is a reason why I can't resize now, then I can take that advice and try and make sure it doesn't happen when I reformat it again.
I would understand if the partition were MBR, but it's not, it's a GUID Partition Table (bottom right), so I'm confused - what is it's problem? ;-)

  • CSV file generation issue

    Hello All,
We are facing below issue during CSV file generation :
Generated file shows field value as 8.73E+11 in output and when we are clicking inside this column result shown is approximate of the correct value like 873684000000. We wish to view the correct value 872684000013.
Values passes from report program during this file generation are correct.
Please advice to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in Advance.

There is nothing wrong in your program, it is the property of excel that if the value in the cell is larger than
default size it shows in output of that format.

Due to eyesight issues, I need to have the menu bars of programs in easy-to-read font and picture size.  Specifically, the menu bar across the top (File, Edit, View, etc.), and the menu bar on the left side with the graphic depiction of options.
In earlier versions of Windows (e.g. XP), whenever I changed the screen resolution on my computer to a lesser resolution in order to show the link icons on my desktop in a larger, more readable size, all the software programs, including yours, appeared on my screen with the menu bars in the larger font size that I needed.
However, in Windows 7, this is not the case.  Even though I have selected the lowest resolution, making the icons on my desktop extremely large, I cannot read the options across the top menu bar of your program, nor the pull-down menu items that they contain.  I cannot see the graphic depictions of options on the left side of the screen. They are all too small.  How can I make your program increase the size?

    NO way.

I recently upgraded to Yosemite. Yesterday when I opened up the iPhoto (which I have it in my external drive due to the size of file) I get the message that it is not compatible with the new system(or something like that) and ask me to upgrade so I did. Then another message pops ups and asked for rebuilding the Thumbnails. So I clicked rebuild. Next it asked me to do one of three things(I can't remember all of them) so I chose the last one which is to download a photo to iPhoto. Now I only have that photo I downloaded in iPhoto file but not the rest of my pictures. The iPhoto library which is stored in my EHD shows it has 349GB but it only show one thumbnail of the last picture I downloaded after the rebuild process. What can I do to recover the rest of the file?

  • Will installing Microsoft office on my mac air 2gb 64mb slow my system down, I don't have music or big files currently on my device?

If I install Microsoft office on my mac air 2gb 64mb, will it slow my system down?  I also have a macbook pro that i dont take out the house with Microsoft office already installed.  Am I best to install Pages on the mac air or will it cause compatibility issues when working on files between the two devices?
    Any help appreciated

The big question I have is this: is it your intention to work on the same documents on both the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro? If so, I strongly suggest that you pick one program and use it on both. Pages and Word are both good word processors but they really are not compatible - rather Pages can read Word files and be forced to create Word files. But the reading and writing isn't perfect and sometimes the amount of work required to re-edit a translated file is substantial.
Installing Office on the MacBook Air isn't going to slow it down unless your hard drive is already very full and Word should run okay on it (though you might not be able to run Word at the same time as you run other programs).

    Hi anthony yerger,
Please let me know what Acrobat and OS version are you using.
How are you trying to send your PDF files?
If possible, please share the screenshot of the error message so that I can analyze it at my end.

  • ASM Instance down in Solaris due to missing ocr.loc file

We had to restart our solaris machine due to a hardware failure.

Then I came to know that you can start css by executing init.cssd script in ($ORACLE_HOME/css/admin)
    /u01/oracle/10g/css/admin

    $ file /var/opt/oracle/ocr.loc

    Boutet,
Before you go ahead and restore the OCR, for that matter even to restore it successfully, you would need to restore/recreate the file /var/opt/oracle/ocr.loc. This file has the location of the OCR file, without this file, you will not be able to restore the OCR.
The contents of the ocr.loc file would be something like this (I am including this information so that you may like to use it to recreate the file, in case you lost the original one).
    cat /etc/oracle/ocr.loc
    ocrconfig_loc=/<path>/cdata/localhost/local.ocr
    local_only=TRUE
    Hope this help.

    Hi,
I am using your software: CS6 InDesign Suiteon a PC using a Windows 7 operating system.
Due to eyesight issues, I need to have the menu bars of programs in easy-to-read font and picture size.  Specifically, the menu bar across the top (File, Edit, View, etc.), and the menu bar on the left side with the graphic depiction of options.

CS6 is not high-DPI compatible/ enabled and that can't be changed. If you cannot6 make it work with your operating system means, then short of joining Creative Cloud and using newer versions there is nothing you can do.
