Hi, all!
i want to get data from groupname field of OCRG table by xl reporter
Now, i am using xl reporter version 6.80.01.29, SAP B1 2005B
How can do i! Can you help me! Thank you very much!
"Get other data" is in the function tab, inside the option Other.
The last field in it, after you specify the fields and tables you want, is comparable to the WHERE sentence from a query, so you can do somethings.
Another possible solution is to select the hole table and then use Excel's function VLOOKUP.
Let me know if this solves your problem.

The "Generate Report Get Data to Modify.vi" produces error 97. I found some help regarding "font style.vi". The recommendation was to recompile the VI, but it didn´t work. Also to change the property node to a different property and back to the original didn´t work, too.
You hit the big solutions. Have you been able to isolate where in the VI the problem occurs? You will probably have to dig in the subVIs. Also do you see this problem if you install on another computer? Consider also reinstalling LabVIEW and Office if you are using the toolkit.

After Generate Report Get Data to Modify.vi, the unbundle doesn't work right.
I'm fairly new to the program, interning at a local company. I activated LabVIEW 8.5 on two additional computers right as rain, but for some reason, on one of them, certain VIs, such as excel.llb\append report data (str).vi, do not execute. The broken arrow points to the unbundle by names, which take place after a Generate Report Get Data to Modify.vi . I took a look at the online evaluation version of LabVIEW 8.5 on the NI website, but the only differences between the working block diagrams online and the ones on my computer are that the ones on my computer don't have blue names. I clicked on the names online and several options appeared. I clicked on the names in the VI block diagram on my computer, and it didn't even have the option that it had by default. It's like the Get Data to Modify isn't passing any, or the right information.
Additional info: I had this problem on the other computer, but I just re-copied the files and it worked fine. That didn't happen with this one. Also, the same version of Office is installed on both of them. The biggest difference between that desktop and my work laptop is just that the desktop had the instruments I'm working with attached to it already. Could that be it?Hello,
Are you sure that you have the Report Generation Toolkit completely installed on the computer where you are seeing the issue? This may be available in the evaluation version, but not in your copy if you have not purchased it.
Also, I cannot find any VI titled excel.llb\Excel excel.llb\append report data (str).vi, could you double check this name so that others can help you out? If you do not have full functionality, I would assume that not all of the components are installed completely.

ALV OOps report- getting data from two tables and adding issue
Hi,
This is sales employee performance report.
I need to select all the fields from two tables based on user input ie VKorg, sales employee .
There is one field callled " Net sales"in both the tables.
Based on sales employee number, i need to add that net sales which i get from two tables.
I need to generate single report.
Can you give some inputs reg. the select query.
My idea is select all the data from both tables using join statement.

Not getting data in OBIEE report while pulling columns from different DB
Hi All,
I am creating a report in OBIEE 11g which uses Table A and table B which are joined in both physical layer and BMM layer. But somehow I am not getting any data in the report where as data is actually present for the matching joining columns. However when I made one of the tables (Table A ) as a driving table, I am getting data but only with a filter applied in the report which restricts the data to few records. If the filter is removed, I get an error which is " A Drive Table join exceeded the limit of XXX backend database queries".
Could anyone tell me what can be the issue? Other than using driving table, is there any alternate method to resolve the issue?

AnjuThe error is due to the setting MAX_QUERIES_PER_DRIVE_JOIN in the database features table that controls and tunes driving table performance. I installed Crystal Reports 2008 and BO SAP Integration kit for CR.
I connected successfully to SAP system from CR but unable to get the data into Report ...
But data is present in function module.

Note: - If we take Start date as input parameter in Crystal report data is coming for single parameter, whereas we take input parameters like Partner function, Region and Customer - we are not getting data. (These fields we created parameters in Crystal report)
In Function Module IMPORT Parameters are below mentioned and Export parameter is Blank
Start Date (Mandatory field)
Partner Function (Mandatory)
Region
Customer

How to get data from an existing Excel file using report generation toolkit
I'm trying to use the Excel Get Data vi from the report generation toolkit, but i can't figure out how to turn a browsable path into the right type for the VI. I've tried using the New Report.vi, but that doesn't work unless you use a template. It won't open an existing excel file and make it an open report to pull data from.
Essentially, i have a bunch of excel files that have data in them and i want to use a VI to analyze the data. So, i'm trying to pull in all the data directly from the excel file so i don't have to reproscess them all into text so i can use the more standard spreadsheet VIs. But to even convert the excel file programtically in labview won't i still need to be able to open the excel file and get the data?

Got it,
the reason why I can view it using my Excel file because its in .CSV.
I open Microsoft Excel to open .CSV file.
But you can also open .csv file with notepad.
So, you cannot open .xls with Read Spreadsheet File

How to get data in a line in reporting from 2 data sources

my infocube gets data from 2 datasources and once the data is loaded into infocube , its show the data from 1st datasource in one line and shows data from 2nd datasource in second line
my requirement is to show the data in reporting in a single line
EX: my first datasource has----
personnel no,name,age,position count
my second datasource has----
personnel no and salary
now i want all these fields in a single line in my Report

U can't achive the output in a single line by directly loading two datasources into the infocube.
If two datasources have same characteristics and if u show same key figure then they will come in single row ...when characteristics differ they will come in seperate lines
u can load the sec datasource to another dso and make a look with personnel no in the first dso to cube transformation then u can achieve it ....

My question/problem is how to manage this scenario.
I am transfering 2 shared variables (pereiod from /period To, ) from the main report to a subreport and now i would like to get data in this subreport based on these 2 variables...
The problem is that i can not find the shared one in select expert icon...
Could anyone point me to solve this issue?

This is what I am using now 'display: block; width: 100px;max-width:100px;white-space:normal'
I also tried 'display:block; width:500px'
If I use the values 'normal' or 'pre' for white-space' it works in FireFox but not in IE, The display block
does not seem to make a difference. It seems that all I need is 'white-space:normal' but again
it does not works on IE.

ICM: 9.0.3
Description:We have CUIC publisher and Subscriber deployed in Cisco UCS C series server. When we schedule a report in Subscriber, we are getting data of current date even we schedule for old dates. Eg. If I schedule a report for yesterday, getting output as today's data. This is applicable for all the historical reports.
There is no such issue in Publisher.

Xcontrol event generation?
Is there anyway to make an xcontrol generate custom events? For example, I'm building a waveform graph that has some custom autoscaling options. When I place the control on my VI, I get the standard events including value change. However, that is onl
