iam using xml file as source and target and one csv file at the source through demo given in oracle site
facing problem loading data in taget xml file
source xml file contains
client_id,
address
and othercolums
csv file source contains
client_id
new_address
row_id
target xml(same as source) file is
client_id
address
and othe rcolums
iam just joining xml source and file as left outer join
problem is unable recive the data from file to the target xml file and it not showing any errpors
only xml data only storing in target xml file
and
set sql to sql
sql to sql append
filq to sql
After that i have created variable the opened sql to sql append
in detail tab
ia have written create XMLFILE (NAME OF THE VARIABLE ) FROM SCHEMA geo
Then I have created package
i joined variable and interface then excuted
In operator it showing errors
Sunopsis.jdbx.xml....
pls send the solution how to do

What is the largest hard drive that can be put in a Macbook Pro 17 MA897

I am looking to upgrade an existing Macbook Pro 17 model MA897 and am looking for the specifications as to the largest hard drive that can be installed and where is the best place to purchase drives.

The HDD makers have yet to breach the 1TB limit in the 2.5" formfactor. But there is hope, as one of the makers (Toshiba, IIRC) announced the discovery of a radical new way of magnetic encoding which will permit much denser packing of the magnetic domains in the rotating disk, and much higher capacities. Promised to come out with 3-4TB 2.5" devices before the year is out and maybe 10TB+ in the coming years. We'll have to wait and see.
BTW and since The Age of the Lion (and probably Mountain Lion too) has forsaken the need of an optical drive for system recovery, some users have decided to remove the no longer critical device and planting another HDD in its place. Might be looking into if you really need the capacity and don't care to lug even more weight above of what the 17" entails.

Don't even think about scanning thousands of slides yourself. If you have 5000 family slides, it's overwhelmingly likely that just 500 of them will give a highly effective representation of the whole collection, and will include not only all of the best ones but many of the second-best ones too. Scanning them all, or even half of them, will consume your entire summer and would probably give you and your sibs a lot more pictures than any of you really wants to keep.
It used to be true that scanning slides halfway decently required an expensive dedicated film scanner -- consumer flatbed scanners just weren't up to the task. That's no longer true. I have an under-$200 Epson Perfection V500 Photo flatbed scanner that outperforms the $2000+ Nikon film scanner I've had for 9 years in slide and negative scanning, and the software that came with it enables me to scan several (6 if I remember right) slides at once and automatically saves them as separate image files. That makes it much faster to use than the film scanner, and of course I can also use it for scanning flat reflective material, such as the more than 1000 old photographic prints and post cards I've digitized for my local historical society. The film scanner couldn't have done any of that.

XML files vary quite a bit. From mere fragments to file carrying schema, etc. What is the preferred format of an XML file that can be loaded into an Oracle table assuming that the Schema agrees with the table structure.
It does not seem to load an XML file even with W3C namespace and all.

With XE there is XML support in the database but no XQuery, JNDI, or Servlet support.
If you give a specific example it could be helpful, here are simple write and read tests on XE;

Formatting an XML string that has a date

Hi All - new to this forum!
Not familiar with XML operations and seeking some advise. I have a field that contains XML text that has a date within that I want to extract and format appropriately for some reports.
Getting to the date portion of the field is not pretty (original code below) and could desire some work itself, but the real problem lies in formatting the date once extracted; sometimes the date text is in the format of "Month DD YYYY" and other times "DD Month YYYY" so the below code fails if the latter is found.

The best thing to do with a date you want to report on, is to not store it corrupted inside XML.
Multiple reasons why are discussed here.
If you are stuck with the ugly inefficient design, then you are probably stuck with ugly inefficient code as a result.

Looks like the max. length described in the forms help only applied to actual database column. But if I am defining a non database column, what is the max. limit?
I tested it by setting to 32K (i.e.32767) and the form accepts and run ok. However, I am not sure whether there will be other side effect or not.

Structure of XML that can be interpreted by KM?

My requirement is as follows - I need to bring in the documents stored in an external repository(Lotus Domino server) into KM repository thereby avoiding the external repository totally. This is how I am trying to approach - to convert all documents in the external repository into XML documents that is understandable by KM. Now, what I would like to know is the structure of the XML. Is there a specific XML structure that KM can read & hence store the documents accordingly in its repository?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
