i created one website with adding ichart in it. but it doesnt shows chart in html page while in browser. it displays in status bar as applet started but doesnt show any chart. what to do?

Where the html file is placed? Make sure it presents in the correct path:
<DriveName>:
Inetpub\wwwroot\illuminator\<foldername>\<Filename>.
Are you using local host? If so, use the server name and give user credentials.
Use this URL to open html page:
http://<ServerName>/Illuminator/PortalLogin.jsp?target=/Illuminator/<FolderName>/<Filename>&IllumLoginName=<Uname>&IllumLoginPassword=<Password>&session=true

This is just a front page hover button. front page creates the class. My question basically is , when the page is published , is it enough to just have that class file on the server and have teh html code point to it.

Problems in Front Page with Lightroom web export

I have no problem exporting my Lightroom web gallery into Front Page.
However, once in Front Page there is still some manipulating that needs to be done to get the gallery functional. Could you please help? If you have step by step instructions on what to do in Front Page with the files that are created by Lightroom it would be appreciated. I think it has something to do with indexing but I can't figure it out. AHHH. Thanks.

You can use Export to, say a JPEG file, and both copies will be produced, then proceed from there. sorta a workaround.

MS Front Page Extension Problem

I do not have the Front Page extension in my Dreamweaver
Extension Manager.
Is there something in the old code that causes this problem?
Is it something that I can eliminate in a Dreamweaver edit of some

This says about everything. Because the site was created with
Microsoft
FrontPage, and it uses FrontPage extensions, the host's FTP
access has been
disabled (FP does not use FTP, and in fact, connecting with
FTP will break
the FP extension's tight link with the files on the site). In
order to
maintain this site with DW now, you would have to ensure the
following -
1. All functions in the current site that utilize the FP
Server Extensions
have been replicated in your DW pages - this would include
Form
processing/emailing, guestbooks, etc.
2. FP will never again be used to maintain the site
3. You ask the host to enable FTP connection, and this has
been done
Otherwise, you are going to watch a train wreck happen.

The Local section of the Yahoo front page is stuck on New York, and I'm unable to change it to my city. IE does not have this problem.

The Local section of the Yahoo front page is stuck on New York as the default, and I'm unable to change it to my city using the normal procedure. IE does not have this problem. This is a new problem that has occurred with the latest version of Firefox. Since the same problem doesn't occur with IE, I've concluded that this is a Firefox issue and not a Yahoo issue. Please advise.

Printing problem in Pages

I have been trying to print a 5 x 7 envelope in pages and I keep getting an error saying paper is jammed but the paper is not jammed so I tried to print on a blank sheet of paper and I got the same error message. This is where it gets strange I decided to open the document up in preview and try printing it and it printed perfectly. Granted this is a workaround but if anybody has an idea how I can correct the problem in Pages 09 I would certainly appreciate any feedback.

I did check for stuck paper and there was none I also checked the print queue and that was not a problem either. So I tried a new pages document 8 1/2 by 11 loosely formatted what I wanted on the front of the envelope open using the guides put the envelope in the printer but not telling the printer that it was 5x 7 and it printed beautifully so it seems to be an issue with the document size In pages. As I mentioned before if I save the document then right-click or control click on the document and open with preview it prints perfectly in the card / open format. So somthing is up with Pages. Maybe I should try Word instead.

Front page image to browser

My AppendFrontPage.VI uses the Append front page to report function to get front page from of another VI. AppendFrontPage.VI creates new HTML file as a report and then it adds two hyperlinks to the report. The front page image is added to this report and after this the report is saved to directory to overwrite an existing file. The directory where this HTML file is saved is web published as server. So the idea is to get the front page image to web site and updating that every few minutes. In program this means that the entire AppendFrontPage.VI is in "endless loop" with a timer.
But here's the problem: The Append front page to report function seems to create a temporary image files that are not temporary. The VI overwrites the HTML on every loop cycle, but "temporary" image file, example like this: LVtemp034555102214, wont be overwritten. So the VI creates a new image every time. I don't want the files to plug my hard drive. Can anyone tell me how to overwrite these files, or if anyone has a better solution how to form my program??
I tried also to make the program with invoke node as Front Panel:Get Image Method. This works but the image won't show in web browser if I use the IP address pointed to the HTML file in address bar. It works only if use the file directory address. You know, as locally. But the idea is to access the web page from somewhere else than the computer the web page was made from.

Viewing new template in dreamweaver cs3 reverst to front page ??

When i save a new template in Dreamweaver CS3 and then try to preview in IExploer it asks me "do you wnat to open or save this file? when i select either it reverst to my old MS Front Page editor

Do you own Flash? Are you familliar with action scripts? If
not, then you
probably want to start with a plain html template and learn
how to code html
and CSS. Flash sites look nice but they are not friendly for

Different values beetween front page and saved data

Hello,
I have problems to saved data correctly. I acquire data with Labview 6.0 and a counter/timer card. These data appear on my front page. But when I save them in a table file, their format is modified, rounded.
For exemple: on my front page values are 20.675 , 21.012 and in my saved file these values are 20.750 and 21.000, even if I checked all the numbers format in the diagram, and declare them in extended precision.
Where is my mistake ?

Applet problem in JSP

Hi,
I display an Applet from a jsp with this code :

It works perfectly in Internet Explorer,
But not in Mozilla :
It asks me to install a plugin : and there it searches for a plugin,
then it says that it can't find one.
I tested the same applet in PHP pages on the same computer,
it works in Internet Explroer and in Mozilla too, without the need of a plugin for Mozilla,
Could someone Help me with this please ???

This isn't a "problem" so much as a different interpretation of what "height" represents. "Height" in the context of Mozilla is the height of the rendered document, not the height of the window.
For example, if your page only has one line of text, then the "height" of your document would be that one line.
To play with this idea even further, let's assume your document is so long, that it extends past the viewing area (i.e. you have a scroll bar on the side). If you specify a height of 100%, theoretically Mozilla would assume the entire height of the document. What would IE do?

Front page and Hover button

Quick question. Trying to help a buddy of mine here. He created a web page on Front Page and added a java hover button which creates a class called fphover.class. When he published the page the buttons don't show. When I loaded the page on my PC which has the SDK and all the tools I need to t-shoot, i get the following exception errors.

I have verified the location of the class on the ftp server \images\fphover.class. IS there something stupid that we are missing ? Haven't been using java too much so Im getting very rusty. Any help will be appreciated. Want to look good in front of my friend :-D

Editing Fonts in Excerpts on Blog Front Page

Is there anyway to edit the look of the way the entries to each of the blog entries appears on the "front page" of the blog?
If you click on it a message says, "This is a list of excerpt from your blog entries. Edit the text on the entry page." The problem is editorial changes made to the fonts - colors & size, for example - do not affect how the list of excerpts look on the front page.
What am I missing? Thanks.

I changed the font and made the font color darker. You need to do:
1) Locate your Blog.css file in your iDisk, it should be in Blog_files folder.
2) Rename the current Blog.css file to ~Blog.css. In case you would like to reverse the change.
3) Place the modified Blog.css file in Blog_files folder.
Open your main Blog.html and refresh the page to see if that's what you like.

Auto Recharge not working, can't buy credit - Dumps me to front page when "Buy" is clicked

I already contacted Customer Service (if you can call it that) on the Chat link. They couldn't fix the problem and said they have to escalate it, and I still haven't heard back. The problem is that auto-recharge isn't working, and really never has. I solved the problem in the past by clicking "buy credit" and just added credit to my account. Now when I do that, it dumps me out to the main front page of the skype.com website. Before you tell me to clear cache and cookies, I tried it from 3 different computers, and even my iphone, same results. Can someone who works for Skype please help? If customer service has devulved into posting to a community so we "can help each other" and there is no one to talk to from the company, how is this ever going to success long term? Microsoft and Skype should be embarrassed. I guess I need to start looking for an alternative solution to international IP calling.

When using fire fox I have a problem reading pages from my site. This is a new problem. The format appears to be lost with fire fox but not IE

I have been using FF for several years and well as front page to maintain and upload to my site. As of two days ago I started getting comments that recently updated pages were not readible. I have not changed any settings but have found out that what can not be read in Fire fox can be read just fine in IE
