XMII Result Output Scenario

I have 3 Machines
1) Web Server (Running Tomcat Server, Open to Public)
2) xMII Server (Open to Web Server)
2) SQL Database (Open to Both Web & xMII Server)
I have created a dashboard on xMII Server using data stored in SQL Server. Now, I want this data to be available to public i.e. there should be some mechanism through which I can display the data on my web server. (I mean if i copy certain class file, i get the thing working on web server itself).
Is it possible?

Claude
Though it is possible, i nvr tried this out. u may try this out by creating a <b>webservice</b> with xMII-based dashboard using Business Logic Services. then use that created web-service in the web server for the data from xMII to be displayed on the web server.
Just try this as follows as for reference out if possible
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c0e74673-718f-2910-c4a7-bbae959d1e5a
Here first few steps will help u to create/generate a webservice with defined WSDL, then from Web Server u can import that defined WSDL file (webservice model)

    Hi,
Displaying report output in email body is not available as a standard feature. Also doing a custom development would be very cumbersome .

  • Formula variable - Maximum Date in result output

    Hello Guys,
    Scenario -
    Data in Cube
    *Reseller      Sales Date*
    RS1          01.01.2010
    RS1          01.01.2011
    RS1          01.01.2012
    RS2          01.01.2008
    RS2          01.01.2009
    RS2          01.01.2010
Required Output - Display one record for each Reseller with recent Date.
    *Reseller      Sales Date*
    RS1          01.01.2012
    RS2          01.01.2010
What I did till now --->
Created a Formula and included a Formula Variable (replacement Path ref char - Sales Date) hence I got the date as keyfigure.
Reseller      Sales Date     Sales Date Formula
    *RS1          01.01.2010     201,00,101*
    *RS1          01.01.2011     201,10,101*
    *RS1          01.01.2012     201,20,101*
    *RS2          01.01.2008     200,80,101*
    *RS2          01.01.2009     200,90,101*
    *RS2          01.01.2010     201,00,101*
For the Sales Date Formula (Calculation tab - Calculate result as Maximum) to display the result as maximum.
The issue is that when I remove the Sales Date from Drilldown the Sales Date Formula display X. I was expecting the result row to be displayed i.e  the maximum value for RS1 and RS2.
Can you guide where I am going wrong... or any other method to achieve the above output is appreciated.
    -Amit

    Hi,
Through replacement path you can achieve this.
    On row side put *Reseller.
on Column side create a formula(and  on Aggregation Tab: Exception Aggregation: Last Value, Reference Characteristics: Sales Date)
and there create formula variable and use replacement path.
    Details
    Type of variable: Formula
    Processing By: Replacement Path
    Reference Characteristics: Sales Date
    Replace variable with: InfoObject
    Replace With: Key
    Dimension: Date

  • ES through xMII - Input/Output variable mapping

    Hello All,
I'm new to SAP xMII Application. I'm using BLS Transaction's Web Service action to invoke Enterprise Service (ES).
Can you tell me how to pass on the input parameters to the ES ?
Also in which format the ES will send the response and how to map that response to transaction variables ?
    Regards,
    Sumit

    Hi Sumit,
First you create input xml in frontpage that you want to assign to Enterprise Service.
Now  create one transaction input property of xml data type and assign input xml to this.Take next action block as Web Sevice and configure for ES.
If you Provide right login credentials than you will get result in  SOAP format.
Are you getting SOAP format ?
If you are getting this than you can map input parameters in link.
    Please update with this.

  • Inconvenient printed job results Output ES4

    Hi all,
I was testing some printing jobs using default XDC that comes with LiveCycle ES4 installation (hppcl5c.xdc, hppcl5e.xdc and hp4350pcl5e.xdc), but i got Inconvenient results when sending the job to print; xml data and logo have been moved into the printed form causing they don't match with the form components as should be at design time. Consulting SAP documentation for Adobe Document Services, it says that there should be XDC files that are shipped for diferent device types like POST2, HPLJ4, HP9500, etc. I'm using a Sharp - MX M264N printer that supports PCL 5e, PCL 6. I have the same design but IFD Form in Adobe Central Output with HPLJ4 selected option as device printer in Presentment Targets and it works fine. ¿Where can i find a XDC library or a HPLJ4 XDC in order to obtain the same result just as in Adobe Central?
    Best regards,

I did finally find an open bug, # 4527394, that appears to address this issue. I found a solution for the printer that is currently giving me headaches, which is an HP LaserJet 2300d. I turned off the "Enable advanced printing features" setting on the printer's Advanced Properties, and the problem went away. Other applications, such as Adobe Acrobat, are able to print similar documents to the same printer reliably even if "Enable advanced printing features" is enabled, however, so this is really just a workaround, and indicates that Sun's JVM has some fundamental problems in its printing facilities, at least on the Windows platform.

  • Results Output

Hi i have a results page which i need a little help with,
    if you look at
    http://www.southerncooling.com/ProductResults1.cfm
this show results that match what the user selected which is
    what i want
but i want to display all the range and models for the
    product as shown here
    http://www.southerncooling.com/ProductResults.cfm
ie if a user selects EXD-170 it needs to show products like
    this
    505350 Tank Beige EXH-130, 150, 170, 190, 210, EXD-150, 170
showing the other models aswell, i have tried outer joins but
    still no luck
any ideas what i need to do
    many thanks
    John

Hi Dan, yes i am using the group in cfoutput but because i
only want to display Part Numbers that only have the model numbers
    that the user has selected.
so if a user selects model EXH130
it will show all Part No like this
    034444 model EXH130, 150, GFF170
    034445 model EXH120, EXH130, GFF170
so it shows all model numbers not just the users selection
    what it is now
    http://www.southerncooling.com/ProductResults1.cfm
    in my query i have
    AND MT.Model_ID = '#session.ModelNo#'
this stops all the model numbers showing, can i have
    something instead saying
    where '#session.ModelNo#' appears in MT.Model_ID

  • Calling SequenceFilePostResultListEntry doesn't change recorded result output

    Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to use SequenceFilePostResultListEntry to discard some step results.
But when I launch the test (UUT or SinglePass entry point), I can still see the results on the report,
despite the parameter DiscardResult on True for all steps.
I noticed too (by setting, Parameters.Step.Result.Status = "Failed" in SequenceFilePostResultListEntry sequence),
that the execution pane shows the steps at failed but "Passed" on the report pane.
Does anyone knows about those behavior ? Is there an option I may have forgotten ?
Please see the attached sequence file.

Running your sequence on my machine works as expected.
No results are available, so the report consists of the header and then states:
    No Sequence Results Found

    Do you use On-The-Fly reporting?

  • Interpretation of result output - COGI (Background - CORUAFWP)

A background job(CORUAFWP) is scheduled, which runs once a day for clearing COGI errors, the output of background job has following numerical data
    Number of total items :1726
Number of locked items : 0
    Number of incorrect items :1720
    Number of withdrawn items
Even though there is no clearing of COGI errors, why there is difference of 6 (between total items
    and incorrect items)
    Note:
Other day, there was 1 material document posted in background processing with following numerical data output
Number of total items : 1723
Number of locked items : 0
Number of incorrect items : 1716
Number of withdrawn items : 1
As one can notice, net difference between total items and incorrect items is 7 (while, only 1 item is withdrawn)
and six items is open question
    Thanks,

    PPIO,
Probably not. If any user is accessing COGI (or) Goods Issue/Reciepts and
confirmations transactions where material movement is involved, there would locked entries
during background job execution. In here, lock entries count is ZERO

  • TABLE(CAST()) function not returning the correct results in few scenarios.

I am using TABLE(CAST()) operation in PL/SQL and it is returning me no data.
Here is what I have done:
    1.     Created Record type
CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE target_rec AS OBJECT
    target__id          NUMBER(10),
    target_entity_id NUMBER(10),
    dd           CHAR(3),
    fd           CHAR(3),
    code      NUMBER(10),
    target_pct      NUMBER,
    template_nm VARCHAR2(50),
    p_symbol      VARCHAR2(10),
    pm_init          VARCHAR2(3),
    target_name     VARCHAR2(20),
    targe_type     VARCHAR2(30),
    target_caption     VARCHAR2(30),
    sort_order      NUMBER (4)
    2.     Created Table type
CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE target_arr AS TABLE OF target_rec
    3.     Created Stored procedure which accepts parameter of type target_arr and runs the Table(Cast()) function on it.
Following is the simplified form of my procedure.
         PROCEDURE get_target_weights
         p_in_template_target IN target_arr,
         p_out_count          OUT NUMBER,
         IS
         BEGIN
              SELECT count(*) into p_out_count
         FROM TABLE(CAST(p_in_template_target AS                     target_arr)) arr;
         END;
I am calling get_target_weights from my java code and passing p_in_template_target with 10140 records.
Scenario 1: If target_pct in the last record is 0, p_out_count returned from the procedure is 0.
Scenario 2: If target_pct in the last record is any other value(say 0.01), p_out_count returned from the procedure is 10140.
Please help me understand why the Table(Cast()) is not returning the correct results in Scenario 1. Also adding or deleting any record from the test data returns the correct results (i.e. if keep target_pct in the last record as 0 but add or delete any record).
Let me know how can I attach the test data I am using to help you debugging as I don’t see any Attach file button on Post Message screen on the forum.

I am not able to reproduce this problem with a small data set. I can only reproduce with the data having 10140 records.
I am not sure if this is the memory issue as adding a new record also solves the problem.
This should not be the error because of wrong way of filling the records in java as for testing purpose I just saved the records which I am sending from java in a table. I updated the stored procedure as well to read the data from the table and then perform TABLE(CAST()) operation. I am still getting 0 as the output for scenario 1 mentioned in my last mail.
Here is what I have updated:
    1.     Created the table target_table
    CREATE Table target_table
    target_id          NUMBER(10),
    target_entity_id NUMBER(10),
    dd           CHAR(3),
    fd           CHAR(3),
    code      NUMBER(10),
    target_pct      NUMBER,
    template_nm VARCHAR2(50),
    p_symbol      VARCHAR2(10),
    pm_init          VARCHAR2(3),
    target_name     VARCHAR2(20),
    target_type     VARCHAR2(30),
    target_caption     VARCHAR2(30),
    sort_order      NUMBER (4)
    2.     Inserted data into the table : The script has around 10140 rows. Pls let me know how can I send it to you
    3.     Updated procedure to read data from table and stored into variable of type target_arr. Run Table(cast()) operation on target_arr and get the count

  • Output of form so result is pdf and not xml

I am new to Adobe Lifecycle Designer ES and have created a simple form, which will be submitted by email. When the form is emailed, the resulting output is an XML file. I need the resulting file to be a pdf, with all fields showing.
I have searched and cannot find the means and option to do this. I would appreciate help on this matter.
I am using LC Designer ES ver 8.2.1.
    Thanks.
    Mark K

Yes you can.. You need to use xfa.host.importData(); method to import an XML file to your PDF. Before you do that you need to add a data connection using the XML in form and bind the fields to tags in the XML. This way, when you import the XML ,the form knows where to pupulate the XML tag values..
Check this thread to get a sample file and XML..
