XML file opening error using CV03N in ECC6

Experts, I am getting below error while opening an XML file in ECC6 using transaction CV03N. File was generated in 4.6C and system is upgraded to ECC6.
" The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
A name contained an invalid character. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/temp/ABC.xml'. Line 1, Position 35 "

Error while posting xml file to URL using URLConnection

Hello everyone,
I am facing an issue from long time related to URLConnection. If this would be resolved by your help then I would be very grateful to you.
One application which posts xml file to URL hangs and after waiting for 5 mins it throws 504 error:
java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 504 for URL: http:hostname.
at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(HttpURLConnection.java:715)
Same application is running fine without error on another environment from last 5 years. But on another env it is erroring out from the day 1.
We have many workarounds in place none worked.
I tried to use HttpClient from apache but that too hanged at URLConnection.getInputStream() method call.
App is running on iPlanet web server 6.1 using JDK 1.4.0_03
We still dont know why this program hangs at that particular line in only one env but many times it runs fine. That means 30% of the times it posts xml file without error but 70% times it errors out. So our program logic is to retry until post is successful.
Once this issue is resolved we will remove the logic of trying again and agian.
Please provide inputs.

The HTTP response 504 means that the server, acting as a gateway, has not received a response from an upstream server in the time it expected.
I think this is problem is due to the remote server that receives the XML and takes too long to return a response to the local application that posted the XML.
Try HttpClient and set the timeout variable of the HttpClient instance used.

File open error at ftp even the file is not open.....

Hi,
i get the error File open with the fm GUI_UPLOAD while uploading the XML file from FTP server.
What is interesting is that i did not open the file, furthermore i closed all the windows else that sap window,
but still i get the file open error.
We create the xml file when created a new delivery. And this xml file is sent to a bukrs's ftp and they also sent the same xml after some validations done.
When it arrives to our ftp server i make it post goods issue automatically but from yesterday i got the file open error, it was working fine just before today.
What could be the problem?
Hint: Yesterday and previous day files still work fine but files created today are faulty.

DVD-MOV mpegstream clip error: "File open error: unsupported file type"

I do it all the time this is the only time i've gotten this error, i use mpeg stream clip. I have a dvd I got from a DVR recorder, I open the dvd which shows 2 VOB files in the TS folder. the MENU gives "Warning: the stream may have timecode breaks." I "Fix Now" and it works fine. But i dont want the menu. the other VOB file in the TS folder, which should be the "movie I want" gives this error when opened,
"File open error: unsupported file type"
when I open anyway, I get an audio bar which has no sound, and no video.
ANY IDEAS? I've been on this for hours PLEASE

File opening error

i am doing data migration with lsmw withe directinput method so i did everything fine till the end i defined the logicalfiles also correctly and defined everthing perfeclty
but i am getting below error

can anyone let me know where this is going wrong
i am having the authorisation at the server level also and in the read and convert steps records and data coming perfectly but when i excute it at the end it is giving such error

Did you write your statment like this?
OPEN DATASET P_DOWN FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE.
If it is not working, try to create a new file and access the same.

I think you may be confusing bookmarks with thumbnails. If you click the Page Thumbnails icon (the one above the Bookmarks icon), then you can delete a page by clicking its thumbnail, and clicking the Delete Pages icon (the trashcan icon). Just make sure that you're viewing the PDF file in Acrobat (rather than Acrobat Reader), as you can't delete pages from Reader.

I think that this is a more SalesForce.com question and think you will have more chance looking at SOAP API Developer's Guide for salesforce. Sending a SOAP request from the API Server is very straight forward and there are several tutorials and well documented about this.

Import external xml file in PDF using Livecycle

I require sending some values in main xml file from the external xml file during sending mail on button click. Doing so, I want to read values from external file into a hidden field or send the external xml/text file as an attachment.
1. Is there any feature in live cycle to attach multiple xml/text files in mail using button click?
2. Is there any way to read an external xml file to pre-populate a textbox using javascript?
Kindly help me to find out the solution.

1) You can do this with a script. But this script works only with the Acrobat Pro not with the Adobe Reader!!
2) Sure.
You open your form.
Go to File | Form Properties | Preview | then choose your xml-file
Then you have to got to the textobject | mark this | go to "Object" | "Binding"
Here you can bind the field: $record.PRINTJOB.PMSDATA.ObjectNameXML (You have to adapt this in the path in your XML to the field in the XML)
If you make a preview you will see the value of the XML in your textfield.
You can also script the databinding. You have to go to the initalize.event and write:
this.rawValue = xfa.record.PathToYourFieldInYourXML.ObjectNameXML.value;

I want to Generate XML File using RDF , Here i used 4 datablocks and i lilnked each datablock with datalink like 1 to 2, 1to 3 and 1 to 4 respectively. while executing the report it choosing only one link like 1 to 2 and writting the data in the file for the same. its not touching 3rd and 4th datablocks I need to have data for all the blocks that are available.
One more thing i want to close each blockonce the data is written in the file.But in this case the tags get open wites data goes to the other block write the data for this block come back to the first block and closes the block.

<Third Block>
</Third block>

</Start>
My requirment is

You might want to look at the SQL/XML operators XMLAGG, XMLELEMENT, XMLFOREST, XMLATTRIBUTES. They provide you with fine grained control over the XML generated.
