XML Set up

Hello everyone,
I need assistance of setting up an xml development enviroment, I'm currently runing 8.1.6 on NT and I have also installed. I understand that I need XSQL which conatins a personal web server. how could I set it up together and start coding..

Maybe I'm missing something but the installation doc does not seem to match the distribution. I'm looking at the 'Oracle XSQL Pages and the XSQL Servlet' release notes for v9.0.1.0.0 (Production). They are dated 15apr2001.
These notes seem to be in a context of XSQL as it's own package but upon attempting to download I find it's now part of the XDK. No problem except that the notes don't seem to reflect this. The tree structure is slightly different and the included files no longer match the notes (where is sax2.jar?).
I'm trying to hook this into Tomcat. Are there some release notes that actually match the release somewhere? Am I just not reading it properly (sorta new to this)? I navigate around the XDK area but keep ending up with this doc...

SQL Adapter Crashes with large XML set returned by SQL stored procedure

Hello everyone. I'm running BizTalk Server 2009 32 bit on Windows Server 2008 R2 with 8 GB of memory.
I have a Receive Port with the Transport Type being SQL and the Receive Pipeline being XML Receive.
I have a Send Port which processes the XML from this Receive Port and creates an HIPAA 834 file.
Once a large file is created (approximately 1.6 GB in XML format, 32 MB in EDI form), a second file 1.7 GB fails to create.
I get the following error in the Event Viewer:

Could you check Sql Profiler to trace or determine if you are facing deadlock?
Is your Adapter running under 64 bits?
Have you studied the possibility of using SqlBulkInser Adapter?

Autounattend.xml - Set Language to English - Australia (en-AU)

Hi all,
Am trying to use the AIK's WSIM application to make my own Autounattend.xml file. This file, along with the Windows install source, is copied onto a USB stick / thumb drive, and the PC is booted from that drive to install Windows 7. Note that there is no
WDS, no MDS or anything else in use here.
The Autounattend.xml works in general, in that I can use it set disk partitions, accept the EULA and enter the license key. What does not work is the language and localisation - what I'm trying to set is:
Input locale: en-AU (or 0c09:00000409)
System locale: en-AU
UI Language: en-AU
UI Language Fallback: en-US
User locale: en-AU
Setup UI Language (winPE only): en-US
I've tried setting this in the following passes:
windowsPE: Microsoft-Windows-International-Core-winPE
specialize: Microsoft-Windows-International-Core
oobeSystem: Microsoft-Windows-International-Core
It does not work: both the language / locale dialogs (one at the very start of setup, before the "Install Now ->" screen; and the other at the very end jus before the desktop appears) still appear, and still default to en-US for everything.
Help! There seem to be various other posts (here and elsewhere) about this, but no resolution for the USB-only scenario. Similar issue seems to exist for en-GB.
Even if I set everything to en-US, the langauge prompts still appear.

XML set to variable

I'm able to set a variable based on an xml response. When I
output it, it appears fine. When I update my database with the
variable, it's showing extra information. Why isn't it showing up
in the output? I'm using the same #variable.resultcode#, etc.
Example:

Camt.053.001.02 XML Set up

We would like to know apart from OSS notes and XSLT transformation , what other configuration is needed in SAP to upload the camt.053.001.02 XML stmt successfully through FF_5 ? Do we need to set up OT83 Config where posting rules are set up to determine the postings.
Please let us know. Your help would be greatley appreciated.

Hello A P,
I don't think any specific settings in OT83 is required for CAMT solutions. Basically CAMT replaces the classic notepad file info into an XML based file. This XML file will have more clearing information compared to old formats. After implementing required OSS notes, you must be able to upload XML files. Please check whether the external trans type send by bank for CAMT is already existing in your SAP system. This should work fine.
Please give attention to Note to payee field.
If you get any error while uploading the file, please share the error screenshot.

SQL Server XQuery: Sequence Expression - What is @x in the code statement of DECLARE @x xml; ? What is N in the code statement of SET @x = N ' '; ?

I did the basic stuff of T-SQL long time ago. I dive in to do the SQL Server XQuery programming. I saw the following set of code statements from a tutotial website:

SELECT @x.query('(1,2,(10,11,12,13,14,15)),-6');
1) What is @x in the code statement of DECLARE @x xml;? What is N in the code statement of SET @x = N ' '?
2) Is the N in the code statement of SET @x = N ' '; absobutally necessary in the SQL Server XQuery programming? From XQuery Language Reference of SQL Server 2012 Books Online, I saw the following set of code statements:
DECLARE @x XML
SET @x = '<a/>'
SELECT @x.query('if (/a[1]) then "true" else "false"')
go
I wonder why there is no N in the code statement of the XQuery Language Reference?
Please kindly help, clarify my confusions and answer my questions mentioned above.

@x is a variable with xml data type. An N prefix stands for the string in Unicode. The N is not necessary in the SQL Server XQuery programming if the values of the element or attribute in the xml are not in an international language.

Script for generating XML file ... problem with null values

i come here with a question that troubles me for some time now. I have a script which i run from SQLPLUS every now and then to generate an XML file.
Problem is that data which needs to be in XML is not allways <> NULL and i need to hide those tags that are empty </tag>.

Problem with tabs in xml text

I have a problem with my XML setup here
i use Tab key to aligh up info in the xml text for aligned
display in the program
hoever i tested on several computers and get different
resolts.

alrighty then try this xml structure.
Note: formatting information like b, or linkage tags should
not be part of the xml.
The XML format is a universal format for data, if you fill it
with style information this is not good practive (in general, there
are of course scenarios where it makes sense, also since (x)html IS
also XML).
In your case you want to put the information about multiple
companies in a xml file, but you let the flash decide how to
display format this information.
so if you use the sugested XMl structure you will have full
control of the layout within flash, because you can grab every
piece of information from the xml and place it jsut where you want
in flash and format it within flash.
Of course this process is more coding work than your previous
attempt, but it pays of when you have a lot of data to process and
when you want to have full control of the final layout.
But maybe its overkill for your application (I don't know how
many companies will be stored in your xml and how complex the rest
of the app is).

It's one of those things you usually start from the other end.
IE with a class and then serialise / deserialize to xml.
Because you have a namespace in there:
<settings version="1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://www.counterpath.com/cps">
I think you will find linq to xml will have issues with that.
You could still use xpath to pick data out of there and there's been a thread on the c# forum recently which is relevent:

Why do you want to turn that into an object?

U can do it the way u want. Use DispatchAction Class instead of Action Class. Just go through the documentation for this. If u still have problem let me know.

How to add Multiple XML Tags for a single column for an RDF

Hi Gurus,
I have Requirement in the Oracle D2k Report from which we are generating the xml tags.
My Requirement is in a table i have 2 columns say A and B.
i am able to generate three xml tags separately using the report builder by clicking on the column name and in the xml setting giving the xml tag.
eg: table Acount contains 2 columns A and B with respective data
A B
QT 1
QTS 0
QTR 2
i am able to general xml tags like this

my requiremnt for the xml tags is

I'm sorry for being so dense, but I'm not quite following, although what I've tried makes me think if I can follow you, it will work :)
To answer your initial questions, you are correct with both your assumptions:
1) detailType is the parameter that specificies YTD/Weekly, this is a "report defined" parameter that I am using to determine which Row Group to display (either YTD or Weekly)
2) SchoolDaysActiveWeek is the parameter that is being set to either true or false -- this is a field in the cube that states whether that record is for the current week or not
So in following your instructions, well that's the problem I'm not quite following :)
1) When you say Delete the SchoolDaysActiveWeek parameter from the report only, do you mean to mark the parameter as Hidden? If so, I've done this.
2) I'm not quite sure where to use the statement you provided me. You said to put it in the dataset, but I don't know which dataset. I assume you mean the "main" dataset (as opposed to the hidden dataset that gets generated when you mark a field
as a parameter). If this is the case, the only place I could see that would allow you to use such a statement is in the Filter section of the properties. I tried this, and it did not generate any errors, but it also kept my report groups from displaying
-- it just showed a blank report, so I think it probably wasn't bringing back any rows to populate them with.
I also tried going into the Expression section for the SchoolDaysActiveWeek parameter in the second screenshot and placing the statement there. When I did this and ran the report, I would get the following error:
The 'SchoolDaysActiveWeek' parameter is missing a value
So what am I missing!?
