XML-Upload when uploading german tariff codes

Dear all
I am trying to upload Import codes from an XML file into GTS. Transaction is /SAPSLL/LLNS_UPL101
Doing so, I am receiving the following error message:
>>> The length of a navigation group is incorrect. Message no. /SAPSLL/CORE_LLNS048
Diagnosis
During the upload, the system checks whether the individual structure levels in the number scheme have the same length as the structure levels of the corresponding number systems in the system. If the length of the structure levels is not identical, processing is suspended. <<<
I checked for the settings in: SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > SAP Global Trade Services > General Settings > Numbering Schemes > Define Numbering Scheme for Tariff Code Numbers
But to me, everything seems to be correct. Anyone have an idea what else might be wrong?

Hi Tzunami,
The program is very strict about comparing the levels and lengths. Usually it gets the right answer, and you should check carefully. You don't mention whether the upload usually works correctly, or if this run is your first one. That could make it easier to diagnose.
The error code you mention is only produced at one point in the program, and there's an internal variable that can affect how the code works. If you really can't find any other problem, and can do the upload in a test system, it might be worth changing that variable, just to see if there's a difference. From the selection screen, run the program in debug mode, and set variable P_ABSLEN to 'X' (true). Then continue, and see if it works differently.

Hi Jatin,
Yes, of course you can upload multiple files for tariff codes.
This can be done by the below path:-
SAP GTS Cockpit(tcode-/sapsll/menu_legal)-->Customs Management-->Classification-->Classification Master Data-->Upload Tariff Code Numbers from XML file(tocde- /SAPSLL/LLNS_UPL101).
In the above area after browsing and choosing the first file, please select multiple check box to choose more files as well. Then you can further select your application server and upload all those files in one go.
PS:- Although, we have an option to upload multiple such files but actually we should avoid multiple file uploads due to various reasons. Hence, please take utmost care during such procedure.

Clear the Tariff Code Numbers uploaded by XML?

Hi, I'm experimenting with upload of the XML files from dataprovider in GTS.
I have uploaded too many Tariff numbers and do not want users to have the full catalogue of codes, only the ones they will use.
Is there a way of clearing all Tariff codes from a Numbering scheme? The only way I have found so far is through config: delete the numbering scheme and re create it. But it's hardly parctical...

Hello Philip,
as Marc already pointed out commodity codes which are already used wont be deleted because that would lead to data inconsistency. But the rest which is not used can be deleted easily.
Only you need is to set your commodity code scheme as "created manually" (even though was uploaded via xm or txt).
Write small report which will update table entries /SAPSLL/CTSNUM field CRECO to "A0" and table entries /SAPSLL/CTSGEN field CRECO to "A0" for your scheme.
Than just go to /SAPSLL/LLNS_102 and select you scheme and just delete what is needed.

Error while uploading tariff codes with transaction /sapsll/llns_upl101

Hi all,
I try to upload tariff codes provided from the Bundesanzeiger Verlag, the codes are stored in an xml format. The mapping from the xml file into the GTS structure works fine. The error occurs while I try to save the data. During the save progress I get the runtime error SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC, which indicates that the tariff codes I want to upload already exist.
Am I missing any step? Do I first have to delete the old tariff codes from 2010?

code doesn't update when uploading new files to website. I was using an old DW version for a long time then forced to upgrade when I bought my MacBook Pro. Now when I make changes to my pages and link to new files etc on my harddrive, when i upload the pages it won't image because the code still points to harddrive (this did not used to be a problem)... I manually changed the code on the web host site to point to the site and it loaded fine. But now my files on my harddrive also point to the web host files and now don't image on my computer. I never had to worry about this so far and wonder if the new version has a setting I'm supposed to be aware of so that I can design on my hardrive and upload and it knows that the files are being uploaded with it? Ugh hpe this makes sense - I'm NOT a webs designer and the new DW is way more than I use in it's technology.

Since upgrading to FF5, i get the following xml error on local development server (IIS 7 Windows 7): XML Parsing Error: no element found, Line Number 1, Column 1. The pages display fine when uploaded to hosting server. How do i resolve it

All aspx pages running locally via IIS or Visual studio inbuilt server can not be displayed in FF5. This problem has only occured since upgrading to FF5. The same sites/code worked fine with the previous version of FF.
When uploaded onto a hosting server the pages display fine. Pages all display ok on local IIS on IE, chrome, opera etc.
I do go through a proxy server, but so do the other browsers.
All this means i can't develop locally on FF. Help please!

did you define the file in step 7 without any error and allocate in step 8 without any error before?
I mean in the same system where you execute the read step.
Make sure you have the file not open when you execute the read step.

If the Sy-Subrc is 0 then Success,
Sy-SUBRC is 4 then failure,
Sy-SUBRC = 6 then the user might be not access to read the file.
This is due to authorization issue.

According to SAP Note 1465628 - ESI Limit increased and length of temp. ESI no increased, when we are doing Step 4. PDF form changes (valid for ECC 6.0 and above)....and point (i)...in transaction SFP (From - HR_IN_ESI_005_99), system shows the below message.

Problem when uploading a large file in PI - weird SQL I/O errors

I'm facing a very difficult problem when uploading a 35 MB with an FTPs adapter. I see in the logs that, after the translation to XML, it's going to 170 MB.
I receive the following error in the CC Monitoring:
Error: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: Problem inserting 41827ca7-6b8c-4a87-198d-ad8a81fcb12b(OUTBOUND) into the database: com.sap.engine.services.dbpool.exceptions.BaseSQLException: Connection is invalid.
When I look in the NWA Monitoring, I see the following details:
SQL error occurred on connection affhb201:X11:SAPSR3DB: code=17,002, state="null", message="Io exception: Socket closed";

I cannot check the Visual Admin Logs 'cause I don't have access to them yet.
I'm pretty convinced that some swap memory, message size or whatever setting on the adapter engine or on the Java stack is preventing this. I do not get any message in CC Monitoring when uploading a smaller, 6 MB version of the same file.
Can you please help me solve this or give me some interesting pointers?
Never before did we experience something like this in the PI system. In addition, I didn't find any useful resource on the SDN and throughout the SAP notes for this.

XML transform and upload without overwriting additional variables

I have a set of working scripts where a user calls into one application to enter their contact number. People needing to reach that first user call the second application which reads the string value entered by the first user and dials out to them. This works via a simple xml transform and upload for the first script, and an xml get in the second.
I've been requested to do this for 40 additional people.
I made one template with a different %variable% for each user. Via a PIN, the correct variable is transformed and a singular doc is uploaded. The problem is that this uploaded doc erases the last person's transformation and reverts it back to %variable%.
Essentially I'm trying to avoid creating 40 different transformed xml uploads. Anybody have a clever idea? If it involves XSL please give a specific exmample; I'm not versed in that.

Firstly, Sam raises a very good point. This sort of thing would be much better dealt with by using a proper DB so you can independenly edit records for each user.
However if we assume this is a low-throughput system with infrequent changes and you are happy to take the chance of two concurrent changes occurring and one being lost...
What I do with XML mostly is read it, parse it with the built-in steps. When it comes to writing them, you can just read the whole doc, convert it to a string, and then use DO steps with Java code to edit the XML directly once read from the repo.
Basicallly as you need to maintain the existing data, you need to either:
1) read each bit of data into an array and then write that back into your template along with the new data
2) read each bit of data into an array and then write them all back by building up the XML manually with java
3) read the whole current XML from the repo, then do a quick find/replace in it using a regex and write it back

Then i wanted to Updold the file, then it says:

we are using ERP2005 Rel. SAP ECC 6.0

Hi All,
Even I faced the same issue whenI tried to upload the form which was developed in Standalone Live cycle designer and I wanted to upload the same into SAP SFP. Initially I felt that this kind of activity might be supported by SAP Adobe Live Cycle deisgner, But it says the Error wron file foramt....
So what I felt is instead of trying to upload the form by using the tool provided by SAP... I directly copy pasted the XML source code into the SFP newly ccreated blank form. ya..it displays some warning messages...But still since I used a Printable form so I could not face any issue...Might be there would be some effect of this warning in Interactive forms.....
But for copying this you donot want to be a expert in the XML area.. All I did was just copied the source xml file from the line <TEMPLATE> tag and till the end and I replaced in the target xml fiel from the same tag from the top <TEMPLATE>....
and save and activate.....

Can you control changes when uploading?

I would like to be able to control the changes made to the website when uploading through FTP and not business catalyst. Apparently the feature is available on business catalyst, but not a 3rd party server. What happens is that if I load the website from different machines, home and work, then all the progress and files uploaded at work get erased if I upload the site from home.
A feature that would allow to keep work done, and only add new files would help my productivity a lot. I am having to remote into office to work on site.

I suspect you've misinterpreted behavior you've seen.
The .muse file records when each page of your site was altered. When a site is uploaded (to BC or Upload to FTP Host) a file named muse_manifest.xml is written to the server. This file records the exact versions of all the files on your site.
The next time you open the .muse file and upload to the same site, Muse reads the muse_manifest.xml file to determine which pages (and associated files) need to be regenerated and uploaded. As long as the same .muse file is used on the two computers, Muse will upload only the minimal set of files.
What many don't immediately realize, is that when you take an update of Muse the code generation is likely to have changed (for performance improvements, bug fixes, compatibility changes for browser updates, bug fixes, new features, etc.). Since the code generation changes with a new version of Muse, and the files on a website are largely interrelated, all the files on the server need to be generated by the same version of Muse. If there's a change in Muse version, a large set of files will need to be uploaded.
Perhaps you have slightly different versions of Muse at work and at home? That would cause a large number of files to be uploaded each time you switch between versions.

Cfmail - works locally but not when uploaded

I'm using cfmail with form variables for the email addreses.
It's so users can send email to political candidates. Here's the

The form submit page collects those variables and passes them
as form variables - GET. The "to" field in cfmail is populated by
hidden fields that contain session variables... they're forwarded
on as those .semails and .hemails form variables. Actual values
have been replaced with "none" or "nosuch" for security, but you
can see the structure anyway.
This works when run locally, sends the emails as it should.
When uploaded exactly as is to godaddy's server, it doesn't send
emails. Doesn't throw any errors, the form results page displays as
it should... but the emails just never get sent.
I'd really appreciate any ideas...

While I use GoDaddy for my personal hosting where I care more
about not
spending a great deal of money over high performance. I do
not wish my
support experiences on anybody. If you know ColdFusion well
and can
tell support what needs to be done, they should be able to do
it. Or,
more likely, you would be able to figure out the self help
tools to do
it yourself. But, unless this has changed since my last
experience,
their support staff is not ColdFusion literate and are unable
to guide
other, inexperienced ColdFusion users.
Saying all that. Email works just fine on my GoDaddy website
and I do
not believe I had to do anything special to use it.
